Honestly, I'd rather have Zayn in 2022. It was an unwinnable situation tbh with Roman as champion, but the MITB would have added even more tension for the story, and I'd have it end in an announced cash in at Elimination chamber. I still would have had Roman go over tho, but it would have raised the stakes even more
I am sorry but Boombox Brock was amazing and I am glad he won. The segment when Brock did not know he had an year to cash in is up there with Hunter Brock - Sami and Kurt Angle Brock Pushup segment as my fav Brock Segment.
Honorable Mentions: Carmella in 2017 the first time, Ember Moon & Bobby Roode or Finn Bálor in 2018, Shayna Baszler & The Miz in 2020, Liv Morgan in 2021, Matt Riddle in 2022, and LA Knight or Logan Paul in 2023.
Justice for Sandow. The man held the mic like a champagne glass in a bath robe. Then got saddled as a jobber cosplayer AND as Miz’ stunt double; STILL got over. Dude sits near the top of my OSW Boys’ list
Randy Orton could be the Penultimate Warrior. He would need an opponent though. Who could they rebrand as a pirate/mortician and call the Plundertaker?🤔
I hate MITB Only Edge and RVD benefited from it (Seth don’t count, his gear is more over than he is) Sidebar, Ruthless Aggressions official end is Jeff Hardy winning the title at Armageddon 08’
Sorry Larson but you're WRONG about Edge losing the World Title to Jericho at Mania. He beat Taker the month before due to HBK. Edge won the Rumble and chose Jericho.
I think Ali winning in 2019 woulda been great, because in 2019 Kofi was still champion and you can get an interesting story out of them due kofi benefiting from Ali's injury
The issue with anyone winning the WHC Briefcase in 2013 was they were unifying the world titles in December, and it was Cena vs Orton. No matter who had it, they either would’ve failed the cash in or have a short run with Cena beating them.
Corbin’s humiliation with MITB came because he had the audacity to speak out against a WWE doctor in front of the locker room who was downplaying the effects of concussions.
If there is anything that should’ve won Money in the Bank, is one of the original competitors from the first one along with the inventor himself, Chris Jericho. That man is Shelton Benjamin. He was the MVP of the inaugural MITB at WM21. Plus, Shelton competed in numerous ones after and I was hoping he would win it one day. Hell, 2009 and 2010 were perfect times but instead, they did fuck all with him. Such a miss opportunity.
I could definitely see a world where Seth wins MITB but fails to cash in due to the bloodline or maybe even Logan Paul to advance their mania feud it keeps the belt on Roman to eventually lose to Cody and gives us overall a better story plus we don’t have to sit through Austin theory’s terrible cash in
Braun should never have been a MITB winner. I think Kevin Owens should have won in 2018. He has zero rumble wins, zero MITB wins, and his last world title win was his only one in the summer of 2016 almost eight years ago now
Corbin apparently got heat for talking about concussions and Vince didn’t like it and him losing to Jinder is why if y’all didn’t know. That was his punishment for speaking out about it.
That Jeff Hardy in 2007 one is really inspired honestly. You could have main evented a PPV in 07 with Jeff calling his shot against Cena, easily.

Damien Sandow is one of the Biggest ball drops in WWE history! "Great job vince"!!
Hey there, friendos!! Here to cash in this appreciation post! Thanks for being my number 1 wrestling podcast! Cheers!
You want to cash in? Are you sure? Are you sure youre sure you want to cash? Right now? Are you sure? Ok, theyre cashing in!!!
I am sorry but Boombox Brock was amazing and I am glad he won. The segment when Brock did not know he had an year to cash in is up there with Hunter Brock - Sami and Kurt Angle Brock Pushup segment as my fav Brock Segment.
It’s funny how they did that with the road to wrestlemania teased edge versus Christian smackDown versus raw 2011
Never once did I think we'd see Jericho in a positive thumbal again. We'll until he's been long retired at his HOF speech.

Dude sits near the top of my
OSW Boys’ list
It goes Apex, Bpex, … etc
"10 guys who shouldn't have won MITB"
Every time Steve brings up MITB 2020, the Larson from that party where he almost fought Hilton, wants to come out.
Randy Orton could be the Penultimate Warrior. He would need an opponent though. Who could they rebrand as a pirate/mortician and call the Plundertaker?🤔
Otis was the right choice in 2020.
He should have fueded with AJ because you needed to climb and retrive the briefcase
I hate MITB
Only Edge and RVD benefited from it (Seth don’t count, his gear is more over than he is)

Imo Miz had an entertaining title reign. The problem was he just shouldn’t have walked into mania as champion

25:21 Larson sprinkling cold droplets 💦 on Steve's "WHALE"...the shade
If Mustafa Ali comes back to WWE with the gimmick he has now, it will be a MAJOR hit.
The issue with anyone winning the WHC Briefcase in 2013 was they were unifying the world titles in December, and it was Cena vs Orton. No matter who had it, they either would’ve failed the cash in or have a short run with Cena beating them.
Ziggler having a 3-5 month reign with the WHC before dropping it to Cena sounds about right
@@richborn6700 See but then we have a very similar argument of “Young talent gets buried and never sees the world title picture again”
Mustafa Ali for sure 🤭
2013 there’s a Cody right there
Corbin’s humiliation with MITB came because he had the audacity to speak out against a WWE doctor in front of the locker room who was downplaying the effects of concussions.
I feel like WWE never struck while the pan was hit when Christian was heel
He got a good push in 2011 but he deserved a longer title reign. Vince just didn't like him enough

It would be nice to see Xavier Woods or R-Truth win Money In The Bank.
I think another baby face cash in can be right before the match starts they make it a triple threat.

Ember Moon should’ve won in 2018 over Alexa Bliss no diss to Alexa but she didn’t need to win considering the fact that she was champion months prior
Jeff Hardy was supposed to win in 2008 but I think he got busted for substance use
Great videos guys and Seth already won money in the bank few years ago
Yeah he coulda won it twice tho
Didnt brock cash in on kofi in 2019 when smackdown debuted on fox and smashed him in like 15 seconds or less, i dont remember him cashing in on seth
That wasn’t a cash in, that was the universal title on Seth at extreme rules, which Seth won back at Summerslam. Brock vs Kofi was just a match.
@SteveAndLarson ahhh I see, coulda went another 10 years and not remembered that thx
Sasha banks should've won in 2018 instead of Alexa bliss
OI TALK ABOUT SMACKDOWN
Great thumbnail, but should've been Brock taking it from Ali.
Hi
Ellsworth should of never been the first person to touch/win the Women's MITB briefcase.
