Due to public cloud and inbuilt features like SAP Build, AI how the Functional consultant role changes and if business user's use the same apps then how what and how the consultants plays the roles in implementation and support projects. Please guide.

Very well explained by Gagan Sir, I worked on other Procurement ERPs , including SAP ARIBA, MM etc... but now I want to switch into SAP Functional Consultant.
AI may impact technical jobs in the future to some extent but Functionals will always remain in business. Reason is that people live talking to people to explain their requirements and ask for solutions.

70 percent of companies will move from ECC to S/4HANA in the next 5 years. This trend has already started. SAP partners need consultants to work on these projects. The current count of consultants will not be able to do these transitions even in 20 years. More consultants will have to come in and get this transition done. Salaries are rising and entry level jobs are getting created in SAP startups.
Exactly , freshers are struggling in SAP now days . Startups having 20-50 employees are having opening for just 2 - 3 consultants but there is no openings in MNC as well in mid-scale companies. I have seen people since 2020 struggling in SAP, still the situation in same.
There are openings for freshers in SAP Startups. You will have to find them on Google and LinkedIn and chase them to get jobs. Jobs will not be offered easily i agree but more than 10,000 consultants joined SAP from India alone last year. Jobs are there for those who are willing to start at any salary level and for those who are willing to slog it out.
