If you placed plugin on bass track then How does the sidechain know where the kick is coming from and what channel the kick is on?
There could be two tracks containing two kicks so how do you select the specific kick input into the strip plugin ?
If it chooses kick automatically then where ? Is it just syncing to the tempo for the bass assuming the curve?

What is the cpu usage like on this strip plugin. I can imagine having an instance on every single track for your average bedroom producer isn’t gonna end well?

It's not as bad as I thought, but if your cpu starts to lag you can always freeze your track.
