Trying to heal a doom as ana is like swatting a fly with a swatter. You somehow hyperfocus the jumping Doom healing him and preventing him to die at the enemy backline.

Punch is playing Doom as a pure DPS and I love it.
I mean the best defense is a good offense

Well, normally it would be valid if doomfirst wasn't hard meta rn. even with the patch, they did him a 180 and he is now a terrifying dive tank.

They blame doom because they did that before the patch notes.. but ofc. They didn't read them.. they don't know..
It's always doom's fault because he's not really a tank. He's a bruiser, which is just a healthy, diving dps. It's Blizzard's fault for making a character with 0 team-damage mitigation, no shield or projectile absorb, into a tank.
It doesn't matter how good you are at Doomfist, he doesn't do the job of a tank, so everyone will notice the lack of any tanking. Not having any other tank work like that, they won't have the experience to know what to do about it besides blame the "tank".

I understand being annoyed at people not liking doom but as a low gold ana/bap it's sometimes really hard to keep up with a doom
As a new player, I always have a problem with dive tanks running away from their healers in the middle of me healing them. DVAs are especially bad at this. Sometimes, it's because they're gonna nuke things, but most of the time, they just seem to overextend and die.
@@Gr3nadgr3gory yeah sadly that is in almost any rank, the best you can do is ask them to play a little slower or to stop pushing away from you. But if they don't listen then not much else you can do other then trying to find a better spot to heal from
@Mango that's sad, I was hoping it would get better if I climbed ranks. At least reins, hogs, orisias, and zaryas seem to understand how to play as a team.

I really, really, REALLY don't like this weird dive tank on defense meta. I don't mind a doom or ball on defense when they're actually being useful but you get more of the kind who just solo dives the enemy backline, kills no one, dies and then flames his team for not helping him.
Dive tanks just seem to think that us supports are supposed to follow them to their deaths.
As a ball player I understand this pain

People will always blame the tank. I got 6 win streak with ball as diamond and when we lose, they started blaming me fr plying ball even when i have 2 min contest time and created so much space.
The reason is that since from overwatch 2, one of the tanks on the formation has been removed, so being you the only one tank in the team is very easy that the reason your team is losing is your fault, because you are not providing to defend your team efficiently. Most of the time I lose is clear that the problem was a bad performance of the tank so they are probably right
@@federicopedata4220 i can easily argue that i fought 3 people with both enemy support down(2 supp & 1 dps) AND surviving. If your own team cnt even 4v2 on 1 enemy tank & 1 dps that dont even have supp to heal them then its not the tank fault.
So if your team cant even 4v2 then its your fault? Man im better off plying valorant then to 1v5.
EDIT: im not saying ball is a good tank, but rather its where situation that tanks were able to create space and the rest of the team cant follow up cuz they cant aim.
@@OtoriDaisuke I’m talking about ur gameplay, it is clear that you were fighting people way below your skill level, but when the teams are balanced you can’t expect to last 20 second among the enemy team without your supports

Man it isn’t about your damage doom just isn’t a good tank he can’t protect his team and moves around so much that the 200hp characters end up getting targeted playing with a doom this is easy to see

If the enemy team has a set of counters for your hero, then it's your fault that you don't want to adapt and bring less value than you can, dude.
when you onetrick a hero, you make a calculated decision during those moments where you weigh the benefits of swapping to a meta character you don't know how to play, or staying the character you have 5000+ hours on. most people will choose what they know because it is the best option.

I had 6 games in a row the other day with doomfists just throwing. You cant convince me doom is a good tank. Its just a dps wasting the tank slot not helping keep people alive or block damage

ngl that widow that was just beaming every single person on your team was prolly cheatin and partied with the widow.
they had a soldier and a tank, but even when the soldier ulted or the tank was low on hp they just stayed damage boosting the widow.
always just sus of widows with a damage pocket who don't miss a single headshot lol

Funniest thing about doom mains is that they are constantly chasing for kills alone against the whole team getting away from their healers and then raging because they don’t get enough heal and “that’s why they died”
