Everyone has his own opinion and taste yet I bet most fans would definitely agree that Lego of today has developed a certain charme that finally reaches beyond a pure child toys flair and made Lego that iconic that it actually managed to make collecting Lego attractive to people in the first place which never would have had interest in the old Lego.
The steps and advances Lego made in almost 20 years are a difference like day and night.

I agree, beside the general kind of sets, Lego have made some SW sets for 4 years olds that can also be a easier way for dans to get iconic ships and they have made some sets with targets that, if you hit them, they will make explision-like stuff. And ofcourse UCS models that you can't buy... Is really great to see more diversity in Lego Sets
