Helpful tips for your viewers/users: I bought mine from costco 9/27/2023. Today, 8/11/24 I rebuilt this thing after owning it for less than a year in florida. Its stored on a stainless rolling trinity table on my large covered porch. So it sees humidity, but nothing worse. Ok, with that here are the issues. The grill is a stainless steel structure but they used aluminum rivets ot hold it together. The rivets degrade from galvanic corrosion(rivets act like tiny sacrificial anodes and just corrode away). The rails that hold the drip tray were the first to fail. The drip tray and rails were found laying on the table under the unit. The entire bottom also used the same rivets and were found in various states of failure. I bought some short #8 304SS screws/nuts and drilled out all the rivets (5/32 bit, fyi) and replaced them with screws. There are also 4 across the back that hold the rail that supports the lid pivots. I replaced those as well. Took about 1.5hrs to fix the problem areas. All stainless components are holding up fine, so hoping this lasts a while longer. If I bought a new one, and if you don't want to drill out rivets, I would invest in some high temp silicone like they sell for smokers and seal over all rivets in the burner area and bottom (this prevent moisture/electrolyte component from getting to rivets and it will avoid corrosion). Also, seal around perimeter of interior base. The base plate is not sealed to the side walls which is why some complain about grease leaking out and running down the legs. But do it before using the grill or the sealant won't stick. If the designers had spent 5 minutes with a materials and process engineer they could have avoided a lot of bad press on costco site. Good luck.
This grill seems very nice. I went back picked one up yesterday after seeing it in store the day before. We were in the market for a new camp stove/grill for family car camping so I went to bass pro shops. At bass pro they had a Memorial Day sale and the Cabelas brand stainless portable grill was on sale from $99.99 down to $79.99 so I originally bought that with the $19.99 hose to convert it from the baby size 1lb propane tanks to the full size propane tank. Later that day I saw this at Costco and ended up going back to get it and return the Cabelas grill. The Cabelas grill was nice, but it only had one latch in the front center and it has a smaller cooking area and only 2-burners. For the same total price this seems more sturdy, has an extra burner, has a larger cooking surface, and has the solid 12 month Costco return/exchange policy if anything ever went wrong. I don’t plan to ever need to use the return or exchange policy but it’s nice to know they have it whereas bass pro was selling their 2 year program for another $25 on top. Can’t wait to get this grill going with some burgers and hot links out by the lake!
Thanks for the comment. I learned something today! I have been a Costco member for a couple of years now and didn't know about the 12 month return/exchange policy. Sure I've returned merchandise, but I didn't realize they honored it for 12 months. That is awesome.
Bought one of these from Costco, about a month ago, cooked some steaks, it did well, I like it, but it went through a tank of propane in just a few days - seems there was a leak in the attachment to the propane tank, sprayed some soapy water on it and it was bubbling! Good size leak, tried to tighten it down more and that was not effective at stopping the leak. Time to take it back to Costco.
Wow, I hate to hear that. I don’t think my leagues I don’t cook on it enough to really see a difference and the time it takes to use a tank. Thank you so much for the comment because I will keep an eye on that.
When I sprayed cooking spray while it was hot it turned brown. I wouldn’t do that. It’s hard to get off. I started wiping cooking oil on the grill with a paper towel to stop the sticking. I lined the bottom of the grill with foil, under the burners to prevent grease getting everywhere. It’s a hassle but easier cleanup.

Hi. Thanks this was amazing 😊. Any particular solution or spray to clean the burners and the greasy, black burns under the burners after using?

Can it be used with 1lb Propane bottles?
I don’t think that it does because it would go through the gas too quickly.
