I feel like with the look of Cozy Bistro, and this being the Season of Love, that we might be getting a French inspired EP. Paris is the city of love after all
I think that kit's should be niche and complement dlc, I would love to see, for example, new things for animals, but the community will again whine that this is an dlc for an dlc
@@IronSeagull why? i have never understood it. Everyone was so up-in-arms about the My First Pet stuff pack because it was a dlc for a dlc. I thought it was a great idea, but the issue with it was there wasn't enough. Instead of all the clothes for pets, I would have liked to see more of the small pets but with different styled habitats that would work in more builds other than kids rooms. If they had more simple and realistic meshes for the small pets, I would use them SO much more often. I thought it was a great add-on to cats and dogs. And if people aren't interested then they aren't obligated to buy it.
@@LolliMolly09 Hopefully you aren’t serious. But in case you are, all that should’ve been in Cats & Dogs. Making a DLC that needs another DLC to get most of it fully functional is objectively scummy. And let’s not forget the previous 3 games had those small pets and MORE all in one pets expansion pack. Plus the fact it was so difficult for EA to get that stuff pack on consoles because of the DLC for DLC thing that they had to bundle it with Cats & Dogs should be very telling. If one or two pet clothing items were part of another expansion pack then that wouldn’t be so bad. That almost happened with Nifty Knitting Stuff, but none of the pet items received enough votes from the community.
I'm not sure how a new drink is actually new gameplay, lol. Unless it offered some new buff/moodlet or something unique, it's literally just another item we already have with animations we have seen over and over again. New gameplay is something I'm parched for, but this aint it.
@@Rabellaka. Gotcha. I wish they'd add new animations to the game, new experiences and buffs etc. A decade in and like, 78 (?) packs later, my sims are still doing the same exact things over and over again. Sigh
I like both kits. I think the bistro kit also works well for a base game bar lot. You can order food and drinks in sims bar lots. The rock fountains in the pool kit are reason enough to get the kit. Looks great. The drink tray is a nice plus, though I wouldn't count it as gameplay because it is just an alternative to drink trays we already have. I do like that this kit gives access to items that are otherwise only in bigger packs (drink tray, fire pit and pool floatie)
Doors and Window heights for different wall heights should could as ONE item. It shouldn’t be that big of a deal tbh. That bar in the Bistro kit is also just a community lot bar, really not for houses. I like the kits mostly based on reviews so far, but currently have zero use for them so nope, a pass for me.
What makes it not for houses? I never noticed there were different features for the different bars but I rarely interact with bars on community lots other than ordering from the bartender
I like the bistro kit, and I chose to get that one out of the two. But I have to say that I don't think kits could be a set price point . I think the max price should be $5, but I really think there are some kits that are only worth like $3 for what you get lol.
Now I’m even more annoyed that the drink tray in Party Essentials wasn’t functional. 😂 I love that the Riviera Retreat kit stones and arch match the Castle Estate Kit! I wish more packs had matching swatches.
I believe you mentioned a possible stuff pack for Museums. This is a fantastic idea. What I would like to see are interactive play objects for toddlers and children, things that represent objects from previous Sim’s games such as a model of Strangerville, things of that nature. Brilliant idea.💡 Any other suggestions for this idea?
i actually brought just the bistro kit as the pool one to me felt more meh but hearing the fountain rocks and knowing there is a new drink may make me change my mind, the rest of it doesn't entice me. Pool kit we need has pool stairs, diving board, slide, swim up bar etc. imo. But I liked the stylization of the Bistro kit and feel as a builder I could get more use out of that one as you stated for restaurants, bars, pubs etc. I guess if you don't have those other packs, you could hire a bartender though so it is still playable per say like below apartments (Which I am hearing is still broken so I am holding out for 50 percent off sale on For Rent!). Am still very curious what this next expansion pack will turn out to be and include but I will not be rushing out unless it's groundbreaking. With still at least a few years left of Sims 4 I am at the point I want to see different, more out of the box stuff! I museum kit would be fun, heck a signage kit would be fun and i am sucker for more in game recipe's as well! Would love to see a disasters' pack, medieval or royalty type-pack and amusement park or safari just different things then we've seen before would be much welcomed.
ok serious question, does the pergola block the rain if sims are underneath it lol? if so i could totally see using it for days when i wanna have an event or something but its raining.
I got both, love them. Sad there’s no hints to the next ep. I built a beautiful bistro with a pool side. lol Edit wrong on the hints, we have two that’s Italy. So we’ll see if it’s Italy we get.
What do we need a new lot type for? Unless its gonna actually function different from Lot Types we already have? I actually hate the Lot Type system in Sims 4 as its WAY to specific and restrictive. In Sims 2 you had residential and community lots, that’s it and everything could expand under this system. The OBJECTS on the lot defined what spawned there for Sims not the lot type. So if you add a bar to a community lot, it spawned a bartender. If you added a cash register, it spawned a sim that rung you up based on what was in the store (clothes, food, video games, whatever). Cozy Bistro already can use the bar, lounge, restaurant (with dine out), cafe (with get together) lot types what would a new lot type “do” as far as guiding Sims autonomy that we don’t already have in game?
Mint and citrus, so a mojito? How cool. I’ve always wanted to try one.
It sounds pretty good!
@@IronSeagull It does, especially for the summer.
I love mock mojitos!
@@Rabellaka. Oh yeah I forgot about that.

I like that drink tray is functional I guess that counts a new gameplay that’s cool for a kit I guess lol
I always love hearing you say "my opinions are my own" have you thought about making merch with it 😅

It does give a moodlet, but I don’t know if it’s unique to this particular drink.

Still waiting for a TS1 style single space bar, and pool table ....
Actually like all the swatches though

does the pavillion type item work as seasonal shelter for plants?

I doubt it, it doesn’t look like it’d be very good coverage 😅
I love both of these packs but it sucks at the bistro one can't be like an actual bistro I had to make it a restaurant.

Now we will see a new drink tray in every pack. So sad. Why not add something new consistently.
lol
If it didnt make me feel sick to give EA money I’d probably buy both. Buuuuuuuut 🤢
Lame. Great video tho 😉
lol thanks
