Lol, Jin being forgiven and his actions of being a war criminal simoly being glossed iver in T8 was wild. He's a conman with the power of plot armor, god, satan, and friendship on his side.
Correction: Jin was beat by Hwoarang but him awakening as Devil Jin and putting Hwoarang in a coma was after Hwoarang beat Jin, not outside the tournament.
I thought so too, but I willingly disregarded that happening because it's even worse. Jin really shouldn't have won Tekken 5 if that's the case. I'm trying to give them a pass.
@@frumpsterfire It did not retcon 3, it's like blood vengeance it explores some stuff and had effort put into it but it hasn't replaced the canon of the games. Unless you have a source stating from Harada that it is now the canon for Tekken 3.
The fun part of this for me is that most of the time I find actual Heihachi more threatening & Alisa easier to pull off in Tekken 8 but that's just me though that doesn't mean I haven't seen a hoard of really aggressive Jins being a problem. Additionally if Reina calls you Senpai or complements you like she does Heihachi that means you have power it also means your probably both overpowered & a jerk to boot as well as you have something to do with Mishima bloodline.
As a Jin main since tekken 4 I can definitely say he was nerfed hardcore til tekken 8 where the majority of his moves of very unsafe. I remember just destroying everyone online as Jin during tekken 6 and 7 but now it’s gotten a little harder. And I’m an AVID tekken player too
The Paul thing is weird, I feel like its basically non-canon because it was more about the gag of Paul being down on his luck/too dumb to stick around to finish the fight with Ogre and it just hasn't been mentioned since his tekken 4 intro. At least they have brought up Paul fighting Kazuya in recent history. And yeah as the other guy said, Devil Jin took over when Jin was beaten and put Hwoarang in a coma. In my head canon the fact that Jin was trying to fight off possession is the only reason any Tae Kwon Do practitioner can beat a trained Kyokushin fighter. But yeah been a lore nerd for 20+ years now, so much bullshit and stupid stuff I waded through and now I think I have honestly fucking checked out, they have finally lost me with brining Heihachi back again.
Allen much love and respect to you man, finally someone told the truth I've been saying that to my friends and fellow Tekken player but all they do is brush the eyes thank you, man
Thanks. 😆 I'm a Jin fan but even I have to admit, there are some shady events with him considering he is the hero amongst him, Heihachi, and Kazuya. For whatever that's worth.
Now I know Reina will be the main villain in the Tekken 9. But I really can't wait for Miguel to come back, in his what if ending for Tekken 7 he was about to kill Jin but spared him because the Kazama felt nothing at that point, Miguel said he'd come back for his ass when he finally feels something again. Now that Jin finally feels again at the end of Tekken 8, the angry spanish man will make his return. Plus, it's just cool thematically, assuming Jin can now access 3 different martial arts showing he has grown as a fighter, against Miguel the literal street fighter (eat your heart out Akuma). Miguel is staright up the only character in the entire cast who does not use an actual martial art (or a made up one), experienced sure, but he's literally all about these hands and these legs. Yohoo.
Tooo be faiiirrrr on my guy Jin ! Non of his goals where to win any of the kof but to either take out orge, take out heihachi and kazuya he was dragged into their bullshit . were the rules and ways bent yepp but homie had to do wah he had to do lol

😆 Yeah, that Angel power up in Tekken 8 was wild. But yeah, all of his past discretions have been swept under the rug.

@@shadosassins yeah it's pretty fucked up
The canon of the fights for Tekken 3 are crazy. Like Xiayou takes out Nina in round 1 lol
Nina is the most painful character to fight in Tekken 3. Anna is also tough.
I think that was in the Tekken Bloodline anime too. I'm barely able to keep up anymore because they keep changing past canon events. 🤷♂️
That was only in the anime
@@MegaAngryspoon anime retconned 3. (haradas fav thing to do) so its just straight up canon now. nina lost

I'm more of a Devil Jin player up until Tekken 7. I loved the T3 and TTT versions of Jin and just never took the time to learn normal Jin after 4.
Tekken tag 2 had the best Jin design and the best moves and combos Jin was at his strongest at that time
Jin is just “HIM”
Heihachi makes a compelling argument, but yes he is.

I honestly wanted to do a video on Heihachi's 3rd near-death, but I don't even know where to start.

Yeah. I definitely feel like Miguel was left off of Tekken 8 for Jin's benefit.
Soooo no one’s gonna talk about that song from nba live 2005 being in the background???
I love the old Live OSTs. But I'm more amazed it took someone this long to recognize it. I've used these songs for like a year.
Scourge ⬇️🤜🏻⚡️
But didn’t Jin kept the 6 tournament and lost to Lars at Azazel temple
This loss didn't count. The battle with Azazel took priority for Jin over T6. The tournament never officially began.

Don't know about that but he's absolutely a cheater on Tekken 6 mid-boss.
😆 😆 😆
Tekken 1 law Vs kazuya samifinal not poul
Was it Law? I thought Paul beat Kuma and lost to Kaz before he fought Heihachi?
@@shadosassins nah man, it is Paul, you got it right.
Nah it was definitely Paul in the semi finals.
