The fudge is made with brown sugar. Fudge is one of the treats the british brought to Guyana. English fudge is also brown in colour. I have never seen white fudge. Gooseaberry syrup is on one my childhood favourite.

We have Dahl and rice with fried fish on Di side, fish cakes, escovitch fish, we have pepperpot, we have curry duck, we have stew chicken, stew fish, we have chicken and cabbage, chicken and eggplant, we have black pudding, different types of cookup, fried rice, varies curries with roti and dhal puri. We have soups with ground provisions and lots more. Hater.
