Centennial looked great all game. From the eye test IMG looks like a college program which did not intimidate Centennial. Centennial struck first with a nice little pass to the end zone. I watch this game years later and I even MORE appreciate Corona.. this is a group of local guys being a team against a group of guys from across the country/world.. I am so glad img lost to MD.. we can talk recruiting but img takes it beyond before.

To my knowledge Centennial Corona isn't your average Public school. You don't have to be an Academy in order to be a powerhouse. Corona was Nationally ranked #2 in 2015 and #9 in 2014

Public School vs Private School. Local Talent vs Wealthy/National Talent. A one point game. Shows that Coach Logan knows what he’s doing. Also Centennial QB #12 Tanner McKee is gonna be fun to watch in college. I know him. Had dinner with his family. Great people.
Cen10 is the top destination for talent in the Inland Empire, a region with almost 5 million people. It's not exactly a simple public with a 5-7 square mile radius of attendance.

This is barely high school football...this is practically just college farm teams that are stacked to the brim with talent.
IMG more than Centennial. Centennial is just a public school that recruits talent from their area, not a fucking college with high school students like IMG that recruits nation wide.

Centennial has the best coaches in the nation. No matter how much talent they lose, they always win.

IMG has a full time trainer, full time dietitian, recruits from all over the world, one of the best facilities in the country, and can’t beat MD and almost loses to Cen10
It's a boarding school that costs 60 gs a year check out the practice facilities it's off the chain
I dont think that people realize even though centennial is a public school, there still one of the best D1 schools for football, yes they do recruit from there area aroumd them but some people move areas or travel to play ball there.

PassportplayasTV most definitely, CC is a great football team. I'm just SMH at the IMG coaching cause they knew CC Offense was going to put up points. So they should have used that massive O-Line to slow the game down a bit by controlling the line of scrimmage and time of possession.

After a loss to mater dei IMG acadamy is banned from playing in California for reasons I'm not sure of .anyone have the info on there ban ?.
So Ca teams are not allowed to play teams from other states who are not part of their states playoffs. Stupid rules from Ca governing body. Just like they wont allow players to transfer to another school without sitting out unless it's to a Parochial school or from a Parochial school. That's why it's soo hard for public schools to compete against the Mater Dei, Bosco, Servite's etc

2015 they beat DeSoto 47-29, Last yr the beat Duncanville 41-14. Both public schools. Not sure if they played any other Texas schools. They did play 2 Ca schools. 1 public school. Centennial from Corona. IMG won 50-49 on last second 2pt conversion in 2016 and 40-20in 2017. Against Parochial school Mater Dei they lost 28-24. Then Ca schools werent allowed to play them again

Those gaps in Centennial's O-line are intended to create more running room for their RB and QB. But it's a double-edged sword in that it also makes their RB and QB a bit more vulnerable to getting tackled since defenders can expose these gaps as well.
Scion Its also used to try to space out the defense more if they haven't caught on already.

The SEC is overrated these days. outside of alabama its kinda even. The SEC is a gauntlet, too loaded. gives all the scouts a chance to see whats wrong with your game. Alot of SEC guys have knee braces by the time they make it to the NFL, if they even remain a starter long enough with all those 4 and 5 star recruits behind FSU is the best road to take

The NFL usually does it's defensive , O-Line, and RB shopping in the SEC, if you're an offensive player either QB or WR head to the ACC, if you can't make into either and still want to go to an elite conference head to the B1G.

SOB x MOBN: Centennial was really that good. IMG was also jet-lagged. The game didn't start until 11pm FL time. A local tropical storm also hurt their practices in the days before the game. That game could have gone either way.
