놀랍고 안타까워요 외국에 오래 살다보면 한국문화유산이 얼마나 위대하고 귀한것인지 알게되는데 이어나갈 후손들이 점점 없다는게 슬프네요 일본이나 외국에선 전통을 잇는거이 자부심도 높고 존경과 인정해주는데 우리나라는 점점 환경들이 그런면에선 많이 부족하나봐요

전통적으로 대가족 형태에서 시기따라 나오는 제철음식을 대량으로 장기보관 발효 숙성 등을 위해서 사용 되어 왔죠.. 마치 오크통처럼 저장능력이 탁월하고 통기성도 좋아서 장기보관, 발효시키기도 좋죠 . 물론 술도 빚을때 사용하고요. 참 좋은 영상입니다

저 도자기는 한국에서는 '옹기'라고 합니다.
주로 숙성이 필요한 장류 혹은 저장음식을 보관할 때 땅에 묻거나 서늘한 곳에 두어 보관하는 전통적인 집기입니다. 저렇게 만들어진 옹기는 현미경으로 봐도 무척 작은 미세한 구멍이 나있어서 나쁜 물질을 걸러내는 일종의 필터 역할을 함과 동시에, 바깥과 내부가 건강하게 순환이 되어 발효와 숙성이라는 과정을 돕습니다.
'옹기'는 유약을 바르고 구워내는 술병이나 장식용, 밥그릇으로는 쓰지 않습니다. 한국을 여행하시다가 한 집에 커다란 옹기가 여럿 늘어져 있는 것을 발견하신다면, 대게 된장, 고추장, 간장 등의 전통적인 조미료가 담긴 장독일 가능성이 높습니다.

베트남사람은 도자기 모양틀에 넣어서 만드는대 한국사람은 손으로 만드는거보니 정말 대단 하네요.옛날 제가 이는일했어요.
요즘 공장에서 나오는건 대부분 틀에 찍어서 만들어집니다. 저건 전통 수제 방식으로 만드는거구요.

In Indian villages people used to make clay jars more than thrice the man' size to store grains. And they call it 'kothila'.
