He works so effortlessly even while standing. I've done some pottery on a pottery wheel (sitting) and getting the technique down is not as easy as it looks. He's really talented to be able to make those so quickly too
I don't see what makes you (and the uploader, because of the title) think that his craft is some sort of talent. If anything, it is one of the most evident manifestations of lack of talent I've seen, because he evidently practised the exact same repetition for decades. You see these fast-food cooks in RUclips videos cooking, well, really rapidly, and other fast craftsmen-and-women alike; if decided upon an immediate glance, one might think that such people really must be gifted to be able to work so rapidly, but I assure you that's not the case. There is nothing impressive in repetitive work. Imagine repeating the exact same motion for eight hours per day for decades (to me an absolute nightmare), being thus deprived of all chances to explore the world, and allowing your weak self to be exploited by those who are better than you. One day, during your old age, you have the luck of having some evidence of your craft released to a broader audience, which is in no way accustomed to what your work implies (thus they will disclose awe); after that, you yourself might think that you're quite amazing, if your intellectual incapacity hadn't already deluded yourself to think so, but that's not the case. Unintelligent people find some sort of fulfillment, it appears, from repeatedly doing insignificant things.

Very very difficult job. Already started using mud pots for cooking and buying directly from these people, without bargain for single rupee. God bless them.🙏
@little princess vlog it is hardwork. Just don't seem like because he is doing it with such ease. But the truth is its very hard if a normal person would try to make it.
Reading some comments, people saying give him an electric pottery wheel? He's been using a manual one for years by the looks, and doing just fine. An electric one would be useless to him as he's probably got no power source to connect it to, which complicates the whole process. Sheer hard work and determination is what has lead to these beautiful peices of art, what he needs is support and kindness, also for people to buy his wares so he can continue his craft.
What the fuck would electric shit do apart from add a bill he doesn't need considering he just worked on a couple of pots, probably faster than some guy with an electric doodah? They be crazy
Kerry Stone and for a person who probably is old and never works out looksnin great shape and can really move why u think Americans are fat and ugly lol they want a machine to do everything for them
I think what people really mean is at least give him a wheel that has a pedal to spin it. What he is doing here is amazing sure but look at the way he is standing. If he has one with a pedal it would save him a lot of back pain.
I salute his hard work. How long it takes to make a pot but it takes a moment to break. God bless him good health. He is doing hard work instead of begging.

soft clay or daiso is used for 'slime' making in arts and crafts and school projects, it usually hardens up after 24hrs, sometimes called butter slime.
Working hard, but not working smart. Thats why they are still in poverty. Its not their mistake actually, the government & district officers incharge should guid them properly to prosper.
Awesome comment. Have seen so many people haggle with such artisans. It's a shame. Those very same ppl go to a pizza hut and splurge as if the world's gonna end tomorrow
A true artisan ... but backbreaking work of being bent over almost constantly ... beautiful, simple, handcrafted clay pots I hope these cultural arts are never lost .. sending him lots of blessings
Kudos to grandpa. If i bend like that for a long period of time, standing back up would be very painfuly slow and excruciating though i’m only in my 20s. This man is awesome. I hope he gets plenty of customers.
That wagon wheel is the latest technology. We've come along way from carving dirt mounds with a protractor 1st. Bet he gets that clay delivered from Amazon too. 😄
Pure skill from ancient times still kept alive by unwavering dedication! I’m amazed at the kind of bearings that the wheel is spinning on, might make Leonardo da Vinci envious.
The government??? Lol. Mate, sadly the institution that less support people is the government. More likely the government will support a corrupt politician earning 80,000, dollars/euros/pound, etc than this man.
Back in the early seventies I lived in a village in South India. I used big water pots like that sitting in a bed of sand in the corner of my house because the evaporation kept my drinking water cool in that hot climate. I am 72 years old now and I long to return back to that Village again. I hope this virus ends so that I may return one more time in this lifetime. I learned so much by living there for a few years with a host family in Kabisthalam in Tamil Nadu India. I love the people dearly and the culture.
I admire not only this man's talent and dedication to his work but also every muscle in this man's chiseled body! You can see his muscles activating with every move 🥰💪💪🏆
My family is Potter and today after watching this video I'm proud of my grandfather and grandmother who were working really hard when I was child and watching them doing this 🙏🙏😍😍😍😊😊😊
sagar naliyapara that's wonderful :) It's really unfortunate that plastic pots have come to be in higher demand in the cities. Bangalore has a whole area named after potters (Potters' Town), but because of shrinking demand, all that's left of Potters town is four or five potter families, and they don't want their children to continue this profession for obvious reasons. Perhaps the last generation of potters that we're witnessing.
They are beautiful. I have worked clay on a wheel once before, but it was child's play compared to this. pottery is an ancient skill. we must respect the modern masters who keep it alive.

Thanks to the master. Although it is difficult to make pottery with their own equipment, they are masters of their craft. It is impossible not to be amazed. Good luck with your creation, don't get tired!

I hope this man got paid for this video!
(I highly doubt it)
Dan Sharov same
If it's monetized
looking by the title "slime" no.....
Yep.. I hope so too
Why would he get paid? He's just working as usual, it's not like the video uploader disturbed his work. Plus, his payment comes from selling the pots.
No machine, no measurement but perfect in size and quality...... hat's off for their hardwork..... you are the real heroes....... do support them
Bro how all those products comes without actual measurement ? U have idea ?
He is an hard working man, and very creative in his work , with consistency and dedication , more wins I wish you man

That's a horrid title. It isn't slime; it's clay.
Yes. Cause it's a direct translation from the regional language to English. This happens with most Indian languages.
Correct. Clay has been utilized by mankind for around 9000 years.
Remove female profile picture not allowed in Islam Follow Islam because no salvation without Islam Read Quran ALLAH your creator is talking with you
Doesn't matter. Every white person visiting India used to get called Angrej. Lol
Slime is a trending word on RUclips
जय हो ब्रह्मा जी,जय हो श्री यादें मां की,जय हो प्रजापति समाज की। एक प्राकृतिक कलाकारी। सृष्टि के रचयिता श्री ब्रह्मा जी का आशीर्वाद।
There is a huge difference between clay and slime. Please appreciate the difference between the words and choose the right one.
.
Maybe their first language is not English? Even google translate gives goofy words at times. You are a judgemental person.
Exactly
don't like it....move on....you saw the image before clicking with pots
The person writing the titles probably has English as a second language and it is a difficult one to learn. Mistakes happen.
That is not called slime! That’s clay
gladtidings4all you must be a Democrat The "slime" word was so you clicked on it stupid Yep Fake news tricks you quickly

"with slime" honestly if you've been alive you know what clay is.

AMAZING THEY DESERVE RECOGNITION ♥ No electricity nothing purely handicraft ♥ respect
Imagine what electricity could do for this very talented man! The way he has to stand bending forward must make his whole body ache.
