@@Hiljaa_ In a certain sense, it can be! That's the point of the script, letting people experience this sort of thing. ^_^ This speaker is very much the type of person I wish I had around me when I came out, and if that can be helpful to anyone else in that sort of position... then that's the goal!

Excuse my possibly weird question but are you finnish? Just got a bit excited seeing a word in my language as a nametag😅❤

@@DarkAntiGlue not sure which of the two of us you were asking (and Google Translate seems to meaningfully translate both of our names from Finnish?), but I can at least say that I am not. I'm from North America with no Finnish heritage that I'm aware of, at least.

@@DarkAntiGlue not Finnish but I really like how Finnish sounds and I was learning it a while back, ended up grabbing a word I like the sound of and now I'm running with it as a name 🇫🇮

    Part 3 is finally here!
If I may go off on a bit of a personal tangent: I remember watching part 1 of this series (different VA but definitely your script) when I first started entertaining the idea that I might be trans. It gave me a really comfy experience I could associate with the idea which was especially nice to counteract the stress it gave me at the time (and to a lesser extent still does).
I also find it really nice how you were able to make the shopping part and this one really interesting in audio format. You can’t really emulate the best part of trying on new clothes in audio format, but you were able to make it comfy, with interesting character and (even if just a little) educational too. I imagine I’ll feel similar about the makeup part too if I ever get around to trying it IRL.
Sorry for the block of text. But even if no-one reads it, at least it’s one more comment for engaygment 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️.

@@thomasward6022 I'm really glad you liked it and that it was able to provide that for you! Honestly, you kinda hit the nail on the head regarding what I wanted this series to do. As you say, it's really hard to capture the euphoria of trying on new clothes or having your make-up done, but it's a fair bit easier, I think, to work at some of the dysphoria and uncertainty that comes when you start transitioning. And so yeah, I wanted something that could acknowledge that dysphoria without dismissing it, making it clear that it was normal and okay to feel, but also help guide the listener forward-I think one of the hardest things about transitioning (aside from some social stuff) is just not knowing things about how this gender "works". I came out in my early 20s, and trying to learn about bras and make-up and braids and dresses and women's fashion and all of these things when all of your peers learnt it 10-15 years ago can be really hard, so with a few years' experience and learning behind me, if I can sneak in a "here's what a bralette is" or "leggings are cute but also good at hiding the fact you haven't shaved your legs" or "here's why you might want to use powder vs liquid foundation" in a natural, supportive way, then all the better ^_^
