I really appreciate the teaching that is happening in video. Seeing all of these professionals work on their craft and even that last stretch they are receiving things to work on. And you can hear them receive it and CHANGE! it's amazing.
But the damn clicking from the teachers are annoying. Like they should be good by world finally right? Teachers have to get their attention too I guess. So annoying though.
I had the luxury to see them in Dayton during finals and was in the lots as well. They have a piece of string attached to a tape/rubber band attached to the stick so it can spin and not fly out of their hands.

Idk why “There are a lot of people here that we love and respect but we’re focused on us 8 right now” hyped me up, but it did 😂😤

Seeing bass 5 almost fall over scared me shitless
4:55 that twirl down is so smooth -- how??
You mean literally how? They had little rings attached to the mallets.
They taped these rubber bands to the mallet. They put the tape on the fulcrum so it was easy to slip their finger in when they played.

Beautiful tone on those basses, especially considering there are 6.
How are they spinning their mallets like that?
