Heres some tips for players who wanta to beat room 50: -Just keep crouching.If the Figure is near you, don't move and stay out of it's way -The Figure has a path and will always go in a specific order, learn its path and you can avoid being killed -Theres an audio that plays when you are near a book(similar to keys) so look around if you hear a sparkling sound - You are mostly safe at the purple area and theres always a note to the puzzle there just keep crouching -You are also safe at the far left of the exit same as the tip above -I just found out that the Figure gets more faster and more unpredictable every book you collect so complete the puzzle as fast as possible Hope these tips helps Oh also a simple tip for room 100 (Spoiler!): The Figure will appear when you open the huge metal door just find a hiding spot(The Closets and The Beds in room 99) and complete the breathing minigame then wait for the Figure to leave the room. Don't leave too early because the Figure will kill you : You can just walk through the Figure at room 100 when the cutscene plays

Hide manifests whenever you stay in a wardrobe for too long. He will warn you with a red static effect framing your screen that slowly worsens, followed by text reading "GET OUT" appearing over your screen. ~3 seconds after the text appears, Hide will force you out of the wardrobe and attack you, taking 45% of your health. The more doors you encounter, the faster Hide will appear. Hide does not appear in rooms 50 or 100. Rush Rush will announce its arrival by flickering the lights when a new door is opened. Once the lights flicker, the players have a limited amount of time to hide in a Wardrobe or under a Bed. Rush will spawn in a room behind the players and quickly rush through all of the rooms until it reaches the one the players are in. As it rushes through, it breaks all of the lights, and when its run is over it will open the door to the next room. If the player does not find a hiding spot in time, they will be instantly killed by Rush. Supposedly, Rush will only spawn if there are at least 2 wardrobes present, and will not spawn in a room with only one available exit. Seek will only spawn in a long, lit corridor with many windows lining the walls. The player is given a warning for Seek in the form of eyes lining the walls for the previous several rooms, which cause the lights to flicker (This does not necessarily indicate a Rush or Ambush spawn). Upon reaching the end of the corridor, a cutscene will trigger, and Seek will begin to chase the player. During the chase sequence, the player must crouch to crawl under fallen furniture, find the right escape in circular rooms filled with doors, and dodge flaming debris to get away. The player can tell which doors and spaces under furniture to use in their escape by looking for a blue glow. If captured by Seek, the player will instantly die.Screech appears in naturally dark rooms (not rooms that were darkened by Rush or Ambush). Screech will spawn somewhere behind the player, alerting them by making a "psst" sound. When the player hears this sound, they must try to find Screech and stare directly at it before it attacks them. If the player fails to find it, Screech will jumpscare them and take roughly 1/3 of their health. The player can be warned that Halt will spawn if the lights flicker without Rush or Ambush spawning and without any of Seek's eyes being present. When the player enters the next room, they will be taken to a dark, narrow corridor. The screen will flash blue with different text telling the player what to do to avoid Halt. When the screen flashes with text reading "TURN AROUND", the player must turn the opposite direction and run away. If the player gets too close, the screen with flash with text reading "RUN AWAY". If the player fails to evade Halt, it will take away 60% of their health. As the chase progresses, both the player and Halt's speed will increase, and the music will slowly increase in pitch. Halt will despawn upon reaching the next room and ending the chase. After ending the chase, halt's hallway can be looted freely without any dangers. Jack has a chance to appear after repeatedly entering and exiting Wardrobes, and occasionally it will spawn behind the door of a room. When spawning in a Wardrobe, Jack jumpscares the player. It does not deal any damage, but will stop the player from entering the Wardrobe it spawns into until the doors fully close and it despawns. When spawning behind a door, it will make a loud noise and temporarily darken the room before disappearing harmlessly.EyesThe Eyes rapidly take away the player's health if the player looks at them. Look away and walk backwards around it to avoid taking damage. Timothy is a spider that will rarely spawn in drawers the player opens. When spawned, it will jump onto the player's face and take away a small amount of their health.Window Window is a harmless monster that does not interact with the player in any way. Window is a very rare occurrence, and can occasionally be spotted when lightning strikes outside any of the small windows in any room, and sometimes in a window in the Lobby. Figure is a guaranteed spawn in rooms 50 and 100. It is fully blind, with an amazing sense of hearing to compensate for it. If the player walks too close to it or makes too much noise, it will begin to rush toward them. To avoid Figure, the player must crouch when walking and maintain a healthy distance to keep it from hearing them. When Figure hears a player, the only way to escape is to hide in a Wardrobe. If Figure follows the player to the Wardrobe, it will prompt a short minigame where you must press Q and E (or left and right mouse) to time your heartbeats and keep Figure from hearing you. Room 50 is a library in which you must find books to help you crack the lock leading to Room 51. The books will be slightly brighter in color than the rest and will stick out from the shelf slightly. After finding them, they will briefly appear in the player's inventory, then disappear as the hint within them is listed on the lefthand side of the screen. There is a desk in the room with a sheet of paper containing the code for the lock, which will appear as a sequence of 5 shapes. Each book the player finds shows one shape and the number it corresponds to. The player must find all of the hints that apply to the code for the door, then input the proper numbers into the lock to escape. When playing in Multiplayer, once the door has been opened, all players must rush to the exit. If a player hides for too long in a Wardrobe after the door has been opened, Figure will pull them out and kill them instantly. When the player reaches room 100, Figure will spawn and play a cutscene. The player must backtrack to a Wardrobe to hide from it. Once it passes the player, it will accidentally lock itself in the previous room. The player must stay hidden until Figure gets to the next room, or it will hear them leave their hiding spot. While it bangs on the door to try to get in, the player can enter the escape route elevator, but upon entering they will find that the power is out. They can take a key from a box in the elevator to open a locked door, behind which is a breaker box. The player will have to finish a minigame in which they flip the breaker switches, and once it is done, the elevator is functional and Figure breaks back into the room. It will chase the player all the way into the elevator. If the player successfully reaches it, a cutscene plays in which Figure cuts the cords of the elevator, leading to the end of the game. Shadow is a slightly transparent monster that appears randomly when entering a new room in the Hotel. It can jumpscare the player, but its jumpscare is brief.Pre-Run Shop The Pre-Run Shop is a shop that shows up before the game starts, where the player can spend Coins and Knobs to buy Vitamins, a Lighter, a Flashlight, and Lockpicks. For 100 Knobs, the player can buy x3 Vitamins. For 50 Knobs, the player can buy a Lighter. For 50 Knobs, the player can buy x2 Lockpicks. For 100 Knobs, the player can buy a Flashlight. Items Key Opens locked doors. Vitamin Provides a health and speed boost to the player. Lighter Limited-use item that creates a small circle of light around the player. It can be found in drawers or purchased in the pre-run shop. It cannot be refueled, but can be swapped out if the player finds another. Flashlight Creates a strong beam of light wherever the player is looking. It will slowly run out of batteries, but can be refilled with batteries found in drawers around the Hotel. Lockpick Can open locks, bypassing the need to find a key. Lockpicks break after one use. Bandage Heals the player. Can only spawn if any of the players in the run are damaged. Battery Used to refill the Flashlight. Can only spawn if any of the players in the run have a Flashlight in their inventory.

How is no one talking about how well the game was made? Everything is so well thought and when it comes to this game- every little detail counts, the idea of a heartbeat minigame, the elevator one too- the music, little details of the entities- everything is just so good! ❤
21:43 Important tip: rely on sound rather than sight with ambush, as hearing comes first than sight. Also if theres a vent, go in it! It protects you from rush and ambush.

Tips for Doors Monsters: Name of monsters: Rush, Eyes, Seek, Halt, Hide, Screech, Ambush, The Figure, Glitch and Jack. Rush: If the lights flicker, he’s near. Find a hiding spot as soon as possible. Eyes: Don’t look at it when its there. Seek: If you start seeing eyes staring at you, a chase is going to happen. If you see a big long hallway, the chase is going to start. Always look both direction. The lit up things can guide you. If you touch the fire, it damages your health. If you touch the hands, you will die. Halt: If the screen flashes, it says “TURN AROUND” so walk the opposite direction. Hide: If you stay in a hiding spot to long, he will damage your health. Screech: Likes to lure in dark rooms, if you hear “PSST” try to find him and look at him to avoid him. If you don’t, he will jumpscare you and damage your health. Ambush: It’s like Rush, but runs past twice. If you get out of the hiding spot, he will do it again for 2-4 times. Get out of the hiding spot and come back in if this happens. The Figure: It’s blind. If it’s near you, crouch, and walk past it. If it’s coming your way, find a hiding spot. There’s a catch though, you need to press Q and E to control your breathing and your heartbeat. Glitch: If you stay behind your friends, he will jumpscare you and put you back to where your friends are. Jack: Will jumpscare you when you enter a room or open a closet, but happens rarely. you can also tell the differences between ambush and rush by the sound they make, if you listen closely, ambush sounds more "aggressive" than rush (it also sounds closer to static noises) and it can help give you a slight hint of which is which before it runs past the room
I can’t help but always think about how good the sound design is in this game. Not only the creature sounds but the music, ambience, and basic sound effects too.
It reminds me a lot of PT. If anyone doesn't know, PT was a demo for a Silent Hills game directed by non other than Hideo Kojima. Unfortunately, the game was canceled and the demo was discontinued, but it became very popular in it's short life span. This feels like the what it could've been if it wasn't canceled, and it's nice to see it's legacy being carried on, even in Roblox lol.
The cool part of this game is the fact there’s no point, there’s no official ending but you just have to go through doors and avoid monsters and see how far you can survive
Tip for the figure: The lower your health, the louder your heartbeat and the easier the figure can hear you, even if you’re decently far away and crouching. Make sure to have a good amount of hp before entering room 50

my pros and cons of doors (dw I played it) pros: -the soundtrack is fire -the jumpscares (death and normal) are scary as hell -the game actually uses audio cues -the game looks stunning -the game has replay value after completing -the sound design is low key one of the best -the monsters designs are really scary -the elevator puzzle is really good cons: -the figures animations are pretty janky -the constant key grabbing gets repetitive -level 50 exists (lol) and that's it! hopefully i didn't make people too mad (it's my opinion) you can tell me your opinions i don't mind
imo figure's janky movement was intentional, as they are a blind creature only relying on sound mainly for his navigation/looking for prey, so him having janky animations is just him trying not to trip.
Tips for The figure: stay crouch, he can only sense sound, if he gets too near go to the closest closet, keep in mind figure gets faster as u collect more books so be very much careful, learn his pattern you’ll have no problem with him after that, if your at the stairs area and hes there, head for the pad lock spot he dont check there.

The end is just amazing. I have never seen that high of a quality ending. Especially since that was on ROBLOX. I wouldn't be suprised if they made a whole other platform (not roblox) and put in the game there. It deserves to be it's own game.
21:43 Important tip: Whenever the lights flash and then you hear the sound of Ambush or Rush, you're already in the closet or the pipe. If Ambush sees you, he'll kill you on the spot. Rush is different, he kills those who get in his way, while Ambush kills those he sees.

A tip to beat door 100! 🎉 -if you didn’t know, if you are doing a speed run or trying to time ur best run. It’s a quicker way to just quickly run up the stairs and then go to the elevator to collect the key. Once again after. Try to run back down the stairs (w/ the key) and you’ll see a locked door, that is where you insert the key. Now that room is where you can take your time. Because Figure can’t go in that area, but since you’d be doing a run or something better off trying to turn on the elevators power on quickly! 😮 wow! That’s kinda easy I’d say.. 😅
tbh the only thing that scares me in this game is screech, it’s just the anxiety and wondering if you heard a “psst” or not, not to mention if you accidentally looked at him
Tips to make the game without dying: -Make everything as fast as possible, like the figures, they are faster when you are solving -Don’t look at rush and ambush, if you do, they know where you are and its insta death, go to the closet asap -crouch all the time at the figures -to find more dark creatures (i dont know the name bc i never died to them) is by looking to the corners, on or behind you, they have a 70% chance to spawn at these locations -At dark rooms, and when it doesn’t have entities, just look at the ground and corners, it will help you a lot. -In the last room, if you have problems with the figure, just go to the elevator locker, the figure cant go to it.
Doors is actually a really fun game. The only thing that bugs me is the fact the Figure exists and level 50 is actually a thing, and also that Screech exists too as well as the door intersections during Seek. (i literally fail most chases because of the door intersections, it's my weakness lol) edit: door 50 is really easy IMAO after figuring out something that's actually really useful. it just takes a little bit longer edit 2: also the first seek part has become like REALLY EASY for me because of the new update, and the only problem now iis seek part 2 when the blue light doesn't load in yet and it becomes much harder edit 3: whole game ez i beat it 3 times edit 4: 4 times
to beat seek a lot, i usually look at one side of the circle first, and if theres no glow go to the other. literally that easy. And for lvl 50 just listen for where he is, type the code in chat, and hide in closets
I died at door 100, it was the best one I got. I thought I was gonna beat the game, but didn’t :( but watching this is fun! Also here is some tips for the newbies: When you either hear rush or Ambush coming, hide in the closets. You need to go back into the closet repeatedly for Ambush. Vents help even more! For seek, follow the glowing blue and crouch. Btw, there is 2 chases of seek. But they both have a difference. The first chase is where you have to crouch, and the second chase is where seek is faster but you dont crouch, you have to go through the doors. For figure, just crouch! I recommend hiding behind the desk where the paper is at. I will also recommend just walking and not crouching but do it fast while figure is near the door where you enter the code at. I would also look at the paper multiple times after each book I get, so I know the shapes in order and even the numbers for the code. For Halt, I struggled a lot with him.. but finally survived him! When Halt is telling you to turn around, don’t do it! Just take some steps back, when he teleports behind you again, you can go forward. Do it repeatedly. When you are going down the halls, I recommend looking through drawers to find things important. When I was doing it, I found some vitamins, lighters, and flashlights! I think it’s helpful. Not many people used it as a tip, but here I am doing it. I rlly hope this helps y’all!
Yeah I remember my first time with seek, I'm not a horror person but I tried this game out and seek made me feel like I was falling out of my own body I was shaking in the middle of the chase. Thats how you know you've made a good horror game.
The end could actually be a new chapter. Instead of escaping the hotel, the elevator takes them to “The Basement”, where all of the “Makers” (yes there’s lore) failed creations are. (Failed because of how vicious it was to no matter who and ended up killing everyone) The monsters would be scarier, deal more damage and faster (with new abilities) and the hints about whether a monster is coming or not would be less obvious. For example, there could be a new monster called “The Riddler” (yes i copied the name i have no ideas because im brainless) which would make you solve a puzzle and if you couldnt do it, you would die. Also, if you tried to hide in a wardrobe or somewhere the riddler would jumpscare you, take 25% of your health and you would have to do the puzzle anyway.
I find that quite interesting! My idea is that the player would die from the impact and become a monster, but still want to get out of the hotel. I haven't really imagined more than that, I haven't given it much thought.
i have a theory that there will be a total of 10 floors since on each door if you notice there is space for 4 digits. that means it must go up to 1000 doors or more assuming each floor has 100 doors, there will be 10 floors so go through

The game description says "It is highly recommended that you play this game with no help or guide". But I watched several guides and I even got my friends to help me. But just today, I played Doors for the FIRST time. I survived 3 Rushes, but when I arrived at the Seek Chase, I left the game because I knew it was hard and stressful. Plus I was about to sh myself. Hello, Mei here, I have come to make a small guide or atleast, a small note of information here to give anyone a fighting chance against some of the entities. Heads up. (*Spoilers*) >"Rush" will come with the seem of a flicker of light, hide in a closet, typically, you can wait him out and avoid dying to the closet monster known as "hide" by listening for his approach and spotting him in the longer corridors. >"Ambush" works the same way, except you don't want to see him, listen for his approach, and when he passes you, leave the closet and re-enter the closet. >"Halt" is an entity that appears in a two-spilt long corridor, it is easy to beat, if it appears infront of you, do a complete 180 and run away, it will attempt to appear infront of you often so listen and look for the noise cues. >"Screech" is easy enough, search drawers and all for any means of light and it will ensure that "Screech" will be less likely to approach you, but it may still do so. It only appears in dark rooms where light is vacant, so look around for "Screech" when you hear 'psst'. >"Hide" is an entity that lurks in hiding spots, like under the bed or in a closet, "Hide" will attack you if you stay too long and will typically deal a third of your health, "Hide" becomes way more dangerous when paired with impatience and entities such as Rush or Ambush. >"Eyes" is an entity of grotesque proportions, of which it appears randomlu in a room and is often easy to avoid if fast enough, it deals small damage at a rapid rate and it makes a noise when appearing, this noise is often followed by a purple / blue hue so be prepared for that. >"Timothy" a friendly little spider who inhabits searchable spaces and will jump out at any unfortunate individual clueless enough to find him. The damage is small so do not let this little guy deter you from searching for bandages or lights etc. >"The Figure" appearing only twice, this huge entity cannot see you, but it's other sense are far superior to your own, it tracks through sound and smell, however, crouching is your safest option when around him, as "The Figure" will catch you if you are running. You can hide in closets, but "The Figure" will attempt to hear you when inside, so be prepared to keep that heartbeat sane. "Seek" the unrelenting force within the mansion / hotels ground that wishes to quickly snuff out any form of escape made by residents or intruders alike. He will only appear twice through a full solid run and will require quick reaction time, a strong sense of wits to further yourself without making the mistake of missing the door, and a strong heart. "Seek" will become far more enraged and there will be far more doors to pass, but with a good game plan and a strong set of wits and reaction time, you can beat him. Seek is the hardest entity to survive for me, because I'm slow and don't have quick reaction time, when I pass him is because I got lucky and found the correct door in the corridors, I always die there
I'm a lil late for the vid, but this is a little tip for any person trying to complete the game: As soon as the cutscene for door 100 finishes (this bit: 23:46) you don't have to run back and hide in room 99, you can straight away run past figure upstairs and get the key (it doesn't notice you as long as you don't look back). Then as figure is looking in the hiding spots in the other room just crouch and walk all the way to the power room (in which you'll be safe - until you finish the puzzle). Hope this helps 👀
He kept waiting until he sees Ambush or Rush and then died on door 95 because of ambush, whenever the lights flicker. GO TO A HIDING SPOT AND DON'T WAIT FOR IT. Hide isn't that bad.
Hide IS bad, if you go to a cabinet too early with Ambush (after door 50,) Hide pushes you out of the cabinet letting you die from Ambush. Plus, after door 50, Hide appears often. Maybe it's a smart move to time it correctly.
there should be something in the pre-run shop called a "throwable alarm" and should be like 150 and basically its pretty simple, when your at door 100 or 50, you throw this ball and it makes a really loud sound. figure will then go crazy, going to the alarm and just simply smashing it. would be a great device to make figure easier

A:halt ,most people neglect him but I think his small chase scene is pretty cool . glitch , basically just wants you to be with ya friends what a guy. B:Jack , idk why but he’s cool 😎 ,Ambush , he may be annoying but it is nice to have a change from rush every once a while . Eyes , annoying but cool . A tip that I learned the hard way to avoid ambush or rush all together is just to immediately jump into a closet when I see the lights flicker. I found that waiting to the last minute or trying to find them then hide makes me die😭 Your walkthrough was so interesting to watch lol!!
the reason they do that is because hide gets more aggressive in later doors, and can take a shorter period of time to activate and if u are too early u might get attacked by hide
(really helpful tip for door 100) Right after the cutscene of the figure swinging on pipes ends, just want right past him onto the staircase on the left as fast as you can, and then you can easily walk up and get the key and unlock the door for elevator power instantly.

Tip thing for someone will speedrun: Rush(the one with fatal error sonic face): When you enter the room, there will be a chance it flicking, quickly find a closet and hide or hes will come and PERISH Ambrush(the slenderina face): Just like rush guide but it move twice and could repeat it action multiple times Wall eye(the eyeball on the wall): It completely harmless, it just trick the player about rush by flicking the light, so if you see it in a room flicking eye, do not FEAR Seek(eye but alive): Around the odd level like 10 or common is 30/20, it will appear and do a metal sonic fight but instead of racing, you have to run , the chase will have some obstacles so try dodge it quick as possible, once you escape , you be safe Halt(static stuff): Appear in a blue dark room that will give you a static noise to tell you that the room you stay is Halt room, just by 2 things, dont run into it and try to notice the screen when it appear a static, that a warning (DONT RUN BACK, he alway behind and front) Figure(mouth man): He cant see but he can hear, also to beat the level you have to collect the book, the book you collect will speed him up, so beware, also run if he say hello by stand next to you, hide in closet can only help you when know how to play Screech(ink bendy thing): Appear in dark room so when you hear pssst noise then try to find it and stare, it will left you with a scream The other monster some is harmless and some danger: Jack: and eater egg by searching closet Timothy:if you searching for coin , you might have a big chance to meet this NON-SAFETY spider(cant avoid when encounting) Hide: why the f##k did you hide so long?
finally managed to finish Doors solo in one sitting but during the run, I kept anticipating Ambush the more doors i went through, but i only met him once! Thankfully i had the free revive, but what was even more confusing was that i never encountered Ambush again after that 😅 legit the most paranoid i ever felt bc i still cant get the hang of avoiding him properly
You probably found out already, but when lights flicker for longer or just flicker, wait a little longer before going in a closet so you don’t get kicked out by hide and then hide in the closet/wardrobe until you see no green light or hear ambush as much, then get out and enter later, repeat doing this.

Ive played Doors a bunch of times more since this comment and I've only met him 1 more time, either I have horrible luck or I'm the god of RNG because I almost never meet him, in solo or in groups
Tip for new players: If you cant handle the dark corners or dark rooms, turn off graphics until you get to cutscenes. It helps, if you’re scared. When I first played, I used this trick so it was a little subtle.
Tip: I know some drawers have coins in them but when you’re looking for the key wait until you hear a tingly sound so Timothy doesn’t come out and you loose health:)😊
The heartbeat when you’re in the closet is so hard for me infact this is how i died for most of my runs, its just way too overwhelming for me. Edit: nvm i managed to master the closet heartbeat minigame.
Your internet can be the problem here. This minigame is client-sided, so your computer need to send information about it to the server. And if this info will delay for too long, you are dead. Literally. This game is not made for players with bad internet. "Never trust a client"
Yeah, it seems on Room 100 if Figure spots you, you’re just outright dead. Even if you’re in a closet. However, you can skip that whole part by just walking past him up the stairs to the elevator once the cutscene for him jumping is over.

The game becomes the easiest when you play it with 1-2 friends. Because with 3 friends for example, finding a hiding spot will be a lot harder if everybody has one already. If this happens frequently to you I recommend using this simple trick when all hiding spots are taken. If for example rush is approaching, look for the door that leads to the next room, this is where rush will go, so you need to be out of his path, you can do this in rooms that have fake doors (the ones with no doorknob) and stay there as far away to rush's path as possible. I tried this and It's very useful for when I'm playing with more people

If you realized what Q+E Is In Figure's Encounter, it's basically an option to prevent Figure. Actually. Figure depends on heartbeat 💓. Hearing your heartbeat it catches you in 3.8 Seconds. So When you're Hiding, if you don't press Q+E, It will drag you out of there and jumpscare you in 1.8 Seconds. Q+E Matches Your Heartbeat's frequency with His. So he might think it's his heartbeat. So he'll go away.

MAN, this game gives Bendy and The Ink Machine vibes. All the nostalgia. This game bringing that concept into Roblox. It has that exact same vibe when doing solo mode.
Here's a tip for 100 level: when you pull the lever, hold down the w and a key go up a few stairs then crawl because the figure is stunted for a few seconds you can use this time to get up the stairs.(you also have to crawl fast or it might hear you and kill you) Anyways I hope this helps for anyone who sucks at timing like me lol

Tip:For screech it's very easy to counter if you have lighter i tested this since lighter laminates everything around you not just in front of you in dark rooms it's important to use lighter to prevent screech attacks. Ps by preventing I mean reducing It spawn chances

Rush: He is the common entity in this game. If the light flickers, immediately find a hiding spot, Rush will destroy every lights in his way. But Rush usually wouldn't get you if you stay in like corner. And also, if a different light flickers meaning something different is gonna happened (which will be explained later on this comment) Screech: Always and only active in dark rooms, never active in rooms that Rush had lights destroyed. When you hear a "psst" immediately start looking around quickly to avoid Screech from damaging you (he takes 30%-40% of health if you don't have time to look at it). Also the longer you progress the game, the more he refuses to whisper Eyes: Slight rarely appears in any room. They don't like to make eye contact, if do then he will take 10% of player's health rapidly when looking at it. They emits purple light too, to make it a little easier where he is. Seek: Mostly arrives at a big hallway room (room 30-40), and most specifically all you have to do is just run. (stage 1) There will be fallen bookshelves for the player to crouch through, (stage 2) in this parts you need to use your fast reaction time meaning you would have to look both left and right, if both left and right door is blocked up and then go to another door ahead, (stage 3) in this part you have no more choosing but to just run and avoid the fires & the hands Timothy: A spider that has an absurdly low chance to appear in one of every drawer, it also does a minimum amount of damage to the player Hide: He is always active for the hiding spots (except for The Figure's part, soon be explained later on this comment). Meaning if you stay in a hiding spot for too long Hide will kick you out. And also, the longer you progresses the game the earlier Hide will attack (he also does 40-60 damage) Jack: He is very harmless & does no damage but he does has an absurdly low chance to appear in one of the closet & behind a labeled door, his role is to jumpscare people The Figure: Can't see, but uses excellent hearing and vibration senses. In the rooms with The Figure, Hide will not be active to kick people out. If the figure is close to a person in a closet the person has to do a heartbeat minigame (a bit similar to friday night funkin) and needed to press Q to hit the left piece of the heart, E to hit the right piece of the heart. If the player missed, the player get killed by The Figure. In room 50, The player needs to find 5 books for the 5 digit code at the exit. To find the 5 digit code, you have to decipher the code using the paper on the desk, the numbers and symbols you get inside the books. The symbols could either be a letter or a symbol. Also, the symbols on the paper tells you what order the digits need to go in to unlock the lock and escape Room 50. The books can be found in bookshelves and they also make sparkling sounds to make it a little easier where the book can be. On left side of a book will be a symbol, right side is the number. You are going to have to decipher the symbols from the books to get the code. Ambush: This is similar to Rush, but more aggressive and fast and can come back multiple times to the player (4 times max), so you'll have to stay near the closet until he is actually gone Glitch: This entity is common in multiplayer. If a player is far behind group of people, the entity will jumpscare and teleport back the player to the group of people and also take 50% of player's health Halt: This entity is slightly rare and appear when the room a player just entered will have a light flicker longer than Rush's (thus Rush will not come), and then the next room after the long light flickers in the previous room, Halt will make its appearance. Halt is a bit slower than the Player. You'll have to run away from him, and he will teleports infront of the player every few seconds and then the player have to turn around. Halt will do this until the Player reaches to the next room. The flashes also tells you what to do, meaning if it says "Turn around" then turn around and keep running, if it says "Run away" then keep running The Figure (room 100): Switching the lever in room 100 will trigger a cutscene, after the cutscene finishes the player has to run back and hide in a closet (remember Hide will not be active to kick player out in Room 100). Oftentimes, the player has to do a heartbeat minigame to get past The Figure easily (there are no other ways to get past the Figure but you have to do the heartbeat minigame) and get the key from the elevator and use it to unlock the locked door in Room 100, behind the locked door there will be a elevator power panel and the player has to do a new "minigame". First of all, the elevator power panel will tell the player which number is lit up or not (for example they show you to lit up 4, meaning turn on the 4. they show you to not lit up the 6, meaning dont have to turn on the 6). You have to do this 3 times, but it is okay its not hard. When you finished the third one you have to immediately run to the elevator (where you get the key). And then *You Escaped.* *HARDCORE MODE:* - Your surroundings are now and always be darker - You are slightly slower - Rush attacks and comes more often - Ambush attacks and comes often - Rush and Ambush is more faster and agiler - Jack jumpscares more often - Screech attacks more often - The Figure is twice as fast than his regular speed - Eyes deals more damage, damage speed rate is increased minimally - Timothy attacks more often and deals more damage
Here's a tip when your doing seek: When you see the blue sparkles you don't have to wait till the game makes you crawl, you can crouch instead and it makes it faster than normal and doesn't make time having to wait for your character to crawl. And when you reach the end, how to avoid the hands and fire is pretty easy. If one of the hands is up you have to go that way because if the hand is high it can't reach you but if it's lower it can reach you and you'll die. I hope this helped
Sometimes after I beat seek, I get spammed with so many dark rooms, I don't get chances for lighters and stuff. Funny how this happens every run for me.
I would recommend not using the closets if anything since Figure is blind. Just know his general route and crouch all the way through. You can crouch all you want near him and he won't hear anything unless you're walking. Basically, just avoid him and get out of his path instead of hiding in a closet and getting camped.
Ah yes, back in our day. There was no crucifix, no skeleton key, no dupe,no jeff, door 100 is being the opposite of difficult, figure didn't have animations he was just a ragdoll, old seek and figure animation, vents still existed, ambush was the hardest, old door 100, old rush sounds, library lever room still existed, old basement room, vitamins were the best way to get health, ambush couldn't spawn before door 4, coins were only for more knobs when you win, old animations, greenhouse didn't exist so it was easier, seek eyes in courtyard, old courtyard and would guaranteed spawn before seek, seek crouching would be automatic, you could easily skip door 100 by going to the side, no rooms, old text, old door 49, old door sounds, and lots of more!😢 ( Thank you guiding light for giving us a nostalgia music for the old doors) ( And thank you WSPLASH for creating this.)

I love this game. I’m no professional, but I found this person who was,and they explained everything to me. I used to be really bad at the game, but then I got to The Figure! (I died to The Figure)
Heres some tips for players who wanta to beat room 50:
-Just keep crouching.If the Figure is near you, don't move and stay out of it's way
-The Figure has a path and will always go in a specific order, learn its path and you can avoid being killed
-Theres an audio that plays when you are near a book(similar to keys) so look around if you hear a sparkling sound
- You are mostly safe at the purple area and theres always a note to the puzzle there just keep crouching
-You are also safe at the far left of the exit same as the tip above
-I just found out that the Figure gets more faster and more unpredictable every book you collect so complete the puzzle as fast as possible

Oh also a simple tip for room 100 (Spoiler!): The Figure will appear when you open the huge metal door just find a hiding spot(The Closets and The Beds in room 99) and complete the breathing minigame then wait for the Figure to leave the room. Don't leave too early because the Figure will kill you

Hide manifests whenever you stay in a wardrobe for too long. He will warn you with a red static effect framing your screen that slowly worsens, followed by text reading "GET OUT" appearing over your screen. ~3 seconds after the text appears, Hide will force you out of the wardrobe and attack you, taking 45% of your health. The more doors you encounter, the faster Hide will appear.
Hide does not appear in rooms 50 or 100.
Rush
Rush will announce its arrival by flickering the lights when a new door is opened. Once the lights flicker, the players have a limited amount of time to hide in a Wardrobe or under a Bed. Rush will spawn in a room behind the players and quickly rush through all of the rooms until it reaches the one the players are in. As it rushes through, it breaks all of the lights, and when its run is over it will open the door to the next room. If the player does not find a hiding spot in time, they will be instantly killed by Rush.
Supposedly, Rush will only spawn if there are at least 2 wardrobes present, and will not spawn in a room with only one available exit.
Seek will only spawn in a long, lit corridor with many windows lining the walls. The player is given a warning for Seek in the form of eyes lining the walls for the previous several rooms, which cause the lights to flicker (This does not necessarily indicate a Rush or Ambush spawn). Upon reaching the end of the corridor, a cutscene will trigger, and Seek will begin to chase the player. During the chase sequence, the player must crouch to crawl under fallen furniture, find the right escape in circular rooms filled with doors, and dodge flaming debris to get away. The player can tell which doors and spaces under furniture to use in their escape by looking for a blue glow. If captured by Seek, the player will instantly die.Screech appears in naturally dark rooms (not rooms that were darkened by Rush or Ambush). Screech will spawn somewhere behind the player, alerting them by making a "psst" sound. When the player hears this sound, they must try to find Screech and stare directly at it before it attacks them. If the player fails to find it, Screech will jumpscare them and take roughly 1/3 of their health.
The player can be warned that Halt will spawn if the lights flicker without Rush or Ambush spawning and without any of Seek's eyes being present. When the player enters the next room, they will be taken to a dark, narrow corridor. The screen will flash blue with different text telling the player what to do to avoid Halt. When the screen flashes with text reading "TURN AROUND", the player must turn the opposite direction and run away. If the player gets too close, the screen with flash with text reading "RUN AWAY". If the player fails to evade Halt, it will take away 60% of their health. As the chase progresses, both the player and Halt's speed will increase, and the music will slowly increase in pitch. Halt will despawn upon reaching the next room and ending the chase. After ending the chase, halt's hallway can be looted freely without any dangers.
Jack has a chance to appear after repeatedly entering and exiting Wardrobes, and occasionally it will spawn behind the door of a room. When spawning in a Wardrobe, Jack jumpscares the player. It does not deal any damage, but will stop the player from entering the Wardrobe it spawns into until the doors fully close and it despawns. When spawning behind a door, it will make a loud noise and temporarily darken the room before disappearing harmlessly.EyesThe Eyes rapidly take away the player's health if the player looks at them. Look away and walk backwards around it to avoid taking damage.
Timothy is a spider that will rarely spawn in drawers the player opens. When spawned, it will jump onto the player's face and take away a small amount of their health.Window
Window is a harmless monster that does not interact with the player in any way. Window is a very rare occurrence, and can occasionally be spotted when lightning strikes outside any of the small windows in any room, and sometimes in a window in the Lobby.
Figure is a guaranteed spawn in rooms 50 and 100. It is fully blind, with an amazing sense of hearing to compensate for it. If the player walks too close to it or makes too much noise, it will begin to rush toward them. To avoid Figure, the player must crouch when walking and maintain a healthy distance to keep it from hearing them. When Figure hears a player, the only way to escape is to hide in a Wardrobe. If Figure follows the player to the Wardrobe, it will prompt a short minigame where you must press Q and E (or left and right mouse) to time your heartbeats and keep Figure from hearing you.
Room 50 is a library in which you must find books to help you crack the lock leading to Room 51. The books will be slightly brighter in color than the rest and will stick out from the shelf slightly. After finding them, they will briefly appear in the player's inventory, then disappear as the hint within them is listed on the lefthand side of the screen. There is a desk in the room with a sheet of paper containing the code for the lock, which will appear as a sequence of 5 shapes. Each book the player finds shows one shape and the number it corresponds to. The player must find all of the hints that apply to the code for the door, then input the proper numbers into the lock to escape. When playing in Multiplayer, once the door has been opened, all players must rush to the exit. If a player hides for too long in a Wardrobe after the door has been opened, Figure will pull them out and kill them instantly.
When the player reaches room 100, Figure will spawn and play a cutscene. The player must backtrack to a Wardrobe to hide from it. Once it passes the player, it will accidentally lock itself in the previous room. The player must stay hidden until Figure gets to the next room, or it will hear them leave their hiding spot. While it bangs on the door to try to get in, the player can enter the escape route elevator, but upon entering they will find that the power is out. They can take a key from a box in the elevator to open a locked door, behind which is a breaker box. The player will have to finish a minigame in which they flip the breaker switches, and once it is done, the elevator is functional and Figure breaks back into the room. It will chase the player all the way into the elevator. If the player successfully reaches it, a cutscene plays in which Figure cuts the cords of the elevator, leading to the end of the game.
Shadow is a slightly transparent monster that appears randomly when entering a new room in the Hotel. It can jumpscare the player, but its jumpscare is brief.Pre-Run Shop
The Pre-Run Shop is a shop that shows up before the game starts, where the player can spend Coins and Knobs to buy Vitamins, a Lighter, a Flashlight, and Lockpicks.
For 100 Knobs, the player can buy x3 Vitamins.
For 50 Knobs, the player can buy a Lighter.
For 50 Knobs, the player can buy x2 Lockpicks.
For 100 Knobs, the player can buy a Flashlight.
Items
Key
Opens locked doors.
Vitamin
Provides a health and speed boost to the player.
Lighter
Limited-use item that creates a small circle of light around the player. It can be found in drawers or purchased in the pre-run shop. It cannot be refueled, but can be swapped out if the player finds another.
Flashlight
Creates a strong beam of light wherever the player is looking. It will slowly run out of batteries, but can be refilled with batteries found in drawers around the Hotel.
Lockpick
Can open locks, bypassing the need to find a key. Lockpicks break after one use.
Bandage
Heals the player. Can only spawn if any of the players in the run are damaged.
Battery
Used to refill the Flashlight. Can only spawn if any of the players in the run have a Flashlight in their inventory.

Tips for Doors Monsters:
Name of monsters: Rush, Eyes, Seek, Halt, Hide, Screech, Ambush, The Figure, Glitch and Jack.
Rush: If the lights flicker, he’s near. Find a hiding spot as soon as possible.
Eyes: Don’t look at it when its there.
Seek: If you start seeing eyes staring at you, a chase is going to happen. If you see a big long hallway, the chase is going to start. Always look both direction. The lit up things can guide you. If you touch the fire, it damages your health. If you touch the hands, you will die.
Halt: If the screen flashes, it says “TURN AROUND” so walk the opposite direction.
Hide: If you stay in a hiding spot to long, he will damage your health.
Screech: Likes to lure in dark rooms, if you hear “PSST” try to find him and look at him to avoid him. If you don’t, he will jumpscare you and damage your health.
Ambush: It’s like Rush, but runs past twice. If you get out of the hiding spot, he will do it again for 2-4 times. Get out of the hiding spot and come back in if this happens.
The Figure: It’s blind. If it’s near you, crouch, and walk past it. If it’s coming your way, find a hiding spot. There’s a catch though, you need to press Q and E to control your breathing and your heartbeat.
Glitch: If you stay behind your friends, he will jumpscare you and put you back to where your friends are.
Jack: Will jumpscare you when you enter a room or open a closet, but happens rarely.
Timothy: He’s not a monster, but he is a spider. He spawns in drawers. He will jumpscare you and takes 5% of your health.
Shadow: An unknown monster, will jumpscare you when you enter a room, but happens rarely.
Window: You can see him in the window at the lobby. It rarely spawns in a run.

Glitch is most friendly in this game tho
you can also tell the differences between ambush and rush by the sound they make, if you listen closely, ambush sounds more "aggressive" than rush (it also sounds closer to static noises) and it can help give you a slight hint of which is which before it runs past the room

If anyone doesn't know, PT was a demo for a Silent Hills game directed by non other than Hideo Kojima. Unfortunately, the game was canceled and the demo was discontinued, but it became very popular in it's short life span.

@@Ghibli_fanT-T yo so, basically on the circuit breaker minigame, what happens when the numbers flash on the top of the screen, you have to click or tap on the ones that have a full bar and not an empty bar
so if it says 1 (empty) then dont click on one
but if it says 2 (full) then click on two
A tip for the circuit breaker is I like to turn all numbers on and the ones that are empty turn off since it’s much easier and quicker to do

my pros and cons of doors (dw I played it)
pros:
-the soundtrack is fire
-the jumpscares (death and normal) are scary as hell
-the game actually uses audio cues
-the game looks stunning
-the game has replay value after completing
-the sound design is low key one of the best
-the monsters designs are really scary
-the elevator puzzle is really good
cons:
-the figures animations are pretty janky
-the constant key grabbing gets repetitive
-level 50 exists (lol)
and that's it! hopefully i didn't make people too mad (it's my opinion)

imo figure's janky movement was intentional, as they are a blind creature only relying on sound mainly for his navigation/looking for prey, so him having janky animations is just him trying not to trip.

Tips for The figure: stay crouch, he can only sense sound, if he gets too near go to the closest closet, keep in mind figure gets faster as u collect more books so be very much careful, learn his pattern you’ll have no problem with him after that, if your at the stairs area and hes there, head for the pad lock spot he dont check there.

Important tip: Whenever the lights flash and then you hear the sound of Ambush or Rush, you're already in the closet or the pipe. If Ambush sees you, he'll kill you on the spot. Rush is different, he kills those who get in his way, while Ambush kills those he sees.

A tip to beat door 100! 🎉 -if you didn’t know, if you are doing a speed run or trying to time ur best run. It’s a quicker way to just quickly run up the stairs and then go to the elevator to collect the key. Once again after. Try to run back down the stairs (w/ the key) and you’ll see a locked door, that is where you insert the key. Now that room is where you can take your time. Because Figure can’t go in that area, but since you’d be doing a run or something better off trying to turn on the elevators power on quickly! 😮 wow! That’s kinda easy I’d say.. 😅
tbh the only thing that scares me in this game is screech, it’s just the anxiety and wondering if you heard a “psst” or not, not to mention if you accidentally looked at him

Tips to make the game without dying:
-Make everything as fast as possible, like the figures, they are faster when you are solving
-Don’t look at rush and ambush, if you do, they know where you are and its insta death, go to the closet asap
-crouch all the time at the figures
-to find more dark creatures (i dont know the name bc i never died to them) is by looking to the corners, on or behind you, they have a 70% chance to spawn at these locations
-At dark rooms, and when it doesn’t have entities, just look at the ground and corners, it will help you a lot.
-In the last room, if you have problems with the figure, just go to the elevator locker, the figure cant go to it.

Doors is actually a really fun game. The only thing that bugs me is the fact the Figure exists and level 50 is actually a thing, and also that Screech exists too as well as the door intersections during Seek. (i literally fail most chases because of the door intersections, it's my weakness lol)
edit: door 50 is really easy IMAO after figuring out something that's actually really useful. it just takes a little bit longer
edit 2: also the first seek part has become like REALLY EASY for me because of the new update, and the only problem now iis seek part 2 when the blue light doesn't load in yet and it becomes much harder

to beat seek a lot, i usually look at one side of the circle first, and if theres no glow go to the other. literally that easy. And for lvl 50 just listen for where he is, type the code in chat, and hide in closets
I died at door 100, it was the best one I got. I thought I was gonna beat the game, but didn’t :( but watching this is fun!
Also here is some tips for the newbies:
When you either hear rush or Ambush coming, hide in the closets. You need to go back into the closet repeatedly for Ambush. Vents help even more!
For seek, follow the glowing blue and crouch. Btw, there is 2 chases of seek. But they both have a difference. The first chase is where you have to crouch, and the second chase is where seek is faster but you dont crouch, you have to go through the doors.
For figure, just crouch! I recommend hiding behind the desk where the paper is at. I will also recommend just walking and not crouching but do it fast while figure is near the door where you enter the code at. I would also look at the paper multiple times after each book I get, so I know the shapes in order and even the numbers for the code.
For Halt, I struggled a lot with him.. but finally survived him! When Halt is telling you to turn around, don’t do it! Just take some steps back, when he teleports behind you again, you can go forward. Do it repeatedly.
When you are going down the halls, I recommend looking through drawers to find things important. When I was doing it, I found some vitamins, lighters, and flashlights! I think it’s helpful. Not many people used it as a tip, but here I am doing it.

The end could actually be a new chapter.
Instead of escaping the hotel, the elevator takes them to “The Basement”, where all of the “Makers” (yes there’s lore) failed creations are.
(Failed because of how vicious it was to no matter who and ended up killing everyone) The monsters would be scarier, deal more damage and faster (with new abilities) and the hints about whether a monster is coming or not would be less obvious. For example, there could be a new monster called “The Riddler” (yes i copied the name i have no ideas because im brainless) which would make you solve a puzzle and if you couldnt do it, you would die. Also, if you tried to hide in a wardrobe or somewhere the riddler would jumpscare you, take 25% of your health and you would have to do the puzzle anyway.
I find that quite interesting! My idea is that the player would die from the impact and become a monster, but still want to get out of the hotel. I haven't really imagined more than that, I haven't given it much thought.
i have a theory that there will be a total of 10 floors since on each door if you notice there is space for 4 digits. that means it must go up to 1000 doors or more

The game description says "It is highly recommended that you play this game with no help or guide". But I watched several guides and I even got my friends to help me. But just today, I played Doors for the FIRST time. I survived 3 Rushes, but when I arrived at the Seek Chase, I left the game because I knew it was hard and stressful. Plus I was about to sh myself. I'm definitely learning some stuff from this 👌

Hello, Mei here, I have come to make a small guide or atleast, a small note of information here to give anyone a fighting chance against some of the entities. Heads up. (*Spoilers*)
>"Rush" will come with the seem of a flicker of light, hide in a closet, typically, you can wait him out and avoid dying to the closet monster known as "hide" by listening for his approach and spotting him in the longer corridors.
>"Ambush" works the same way, except you don't want to see him, listen for his approach, and when he passes you, leave the closet and re-enter the closet.
>"Halt" is an entity that appears in a two-spilt long corridor, it is easy to beat, if it appears infront of you, do a complete 180 and run away, it will attempt to appear infront of you often so listen and look for the noise cues.
>"Screech" is easy enough, search drawers and all for any means of light and it will ensure that "Screech" will be less likely to approach you, but it may still do so. It only appears in dark rooms where light is vacant, so look around for "Screech" when you hear 'psst'.
>"Hide" is an entity that lurks in hiding spots, like under the bed or in a closet, "Hide" will attack you if you stay too long and will typically deal a third of your health, "Hide" becomes way more dangerous when paired with impatience and entities such as Rush or Ambush.
>"Eyes" is an entity of grotesque proportions, of which it appears randomlu in a room and is often easy to avoid if fast enough, it deals small damage at a rapid rate and it makes a noise when appearing, this noise is often followed by a purple / blue hue so be prepared for that.
>"Timothy" a friendly little spider who inhabits searchable spaces and will jump out at any unfortunate individual clueless enough to find him. The damage is small so do not let this little guy deter you from searching for bandages or lights etc.
>"The Figure" appearing only twice, this huge entity cannot see you, but it's other sense are far superior to your own, it tracks through sound and smell, however, crouching is your safest option when around him, as "The Figure" will catch you if you are running. You can hide in closets, but "The Figure" will attempt to hear you when inside, so be prepared to keep that heartbeat sane.
"Seek" the unrelenting force within the mansion / hotels ground that wishes to quickly snuff out any form of escape made by residents or intruders alike. He will only appear twice through a full solid run and will require quick reaction time, a strong sense of wits to further yourself without making the mistake of missing the door, and a strong heart. "Seek" will become far more enraged and there will be far more doors to pass, but with a good game plan and a strong set of wits and reaction time, you can beat him. (He also has my favourite ost from the game)

Actually, Screech can appear in light too, but it is extremely rare. Note that this means it is much easier to find screech.
I saw screech in light and I dodged it I thought it was a glitch or a bug
Seek is the hardest entity to survive for me, because I'm slow and don't have quick reaction time, when I pass him is because I got lucky and found the correct door in the corridors, I always die there

I'm a lil late for the vid, but this is a little tip for any person trying to complete the game:
As soon as the cutscene for door 100 finishes (this bit: 23:46) you don't have to run back and hide in room 99, you can straight away run past figure upstairs and get the key (it doesn't notice you as long as you don't look back). He kept waiting until he sees Ambush or Rush and then died on door 95 because of ambush, whenever the lights flicker. GO TO A HIDING SPOT AND DON'T WAIT FOR IT.
Hide isn't that bad.
Hide IS bad, if you go to a cabinet too early with Ambush (after door 50,) Hide pushes you out of the cabinet letting you die from Ambush.
Plus, after door 50, Hide appears often. Maybe it's a smart move to time it correctly.
... You underestimate the power of Hide's short fuse.

there should be something in the pre-run shop called a "throwable alarm" and should be like 150 and basically its pretty simple, when your at door 100 or 50, you throw this ball and it makes a really loud sound. figure will then go crazy, going to the alarm and just simply smashing it. would be a great device to make figure easier

A tip that I learned the hard way to avoid ambush or rush all together is just to immediately jump into a closet when I see the lights flicker. I found that waiting to the last minute or trying to find them then hide makes me die😭 Your walkthrough was so interesting to watch lol!!
the reason they do that is because hide gets more aggressive in later doors, and can take a shorter period of time to activate and if u are too early u might get attacked by hide

(really helpful tip for door 100) Right after the cutscene of the figure swinging on pipes ends, just want right past him onto the staircase on the left as fast as you can, and then you can easily walk up and get the key and unlock the door for elevator power instantly.

Rush(the one with fatal error sonic face):
When you enter the room, there will be a chance it flicking, quickly find a closet and hide or hes will come and PERISH
Ambrush(the slenderina face):
Just like rush guide but it move twice and could repeat it action multiple times
Wall eye(the eyeball on the wall):
It completely harmless, it just trick the player about rush by flicking the light, so if you see it in a room flicking eye, do not FEAR
Seek(eye but alive):
Around the odd level like 10 or common is 30/20, it will appear and do a metal sonic fight but instead of racing, you have to run , the chase will have some obstacles so try dodge it quick as possible, once you escape , you be safe
Halt(static stuff):
Appear in a blue dark room that will give you a static noise to tell you that the room you stay is Halt room, just by 2 things, dont run into it and try to notice the screen when it appear a static, that a warning (DONT RUN BACK, he alway behind and front)
Figure(mouth man):
He cant see but he can hear, also to beat the level you have to collect the book, the book you collect will speed him up, so beware, also run if he say hello by stand next to you, hide in closet can only help you when know how to play
Screech(ink bendy thing):
Appear in dark room so when you hear pssst noise then try to find it and stare, it will left you with a scream

finally managed to finish Doors solo in one sitting but during the run, I kept anticipating Ambush the more doors i went through, but i only met him once! Thankfully i had the free revive, but what was even more confusing was that i never encountered Ambush again after that 😅

You probably found out already, but when lights flicker for longer or just flicker, wait a little longer before going in a closet so you don’t get kicked out by hide and then hide in the closet/wardrobe until you see no green light or hear ambush as much, then get out and enter later, repeat doing this.

Tip for new players:
If you cant handle the dark corners or dark rooms, turn off graphics until you get to cutscenes. It helps, if you’re scared. When I first played, I used this trick so it was a little subtle.

Yeah, it seems on Room 100 if Figure spots you, you’re just outright dead. Even if you’re in a closet.
However, you can skip that whole part by just walking past him up the stairs to the elevator once the cutscene for him jumping is over.

The game becomes the easiest when you play it with 1-2 friends.
Because with 3 friends for example, finding a hiding spot will be a lot harder if everybody has one already.
If this happens frequently to you I recommend using this simple trick when all hiding spots are taken.
If for example rush is approaching, look for the door that leads to the next room, this is where rush will go, so you need to be out of his path, you can do this in rooms that have fake doors (the ones with no doorknob) and stay there as far away to rush's path as possible.
I tried this and It's very useful for when I'm playing with more people

If you realized what Q+E Is In Figure's Encounter, it's basically an option to prevent Figure. Actually. Figure depends on heartbeat 💓. Hearing your heartbeat it catches you in 3.8 Seconds. So When you're Hiding, if you don't press Q+E, It will drag you out of there and jumpscare

Here's a tip for 100 level: when you pull the lever, hold down the w and a key go up a few stairs then crawl because the figure is stunted for a few seconds you can use this time to get up the stairs.(you also have to crawl fast or it might hear you and kill you) Anyways I hope this helps for anyone who sucks at timing like me lol

Tip:For screech it's very easy to counter if you have lighter i tested this since lighter laminates everything around you not just in front of you in dark rooms it's important to use lighter to prevent screech attacks. Ps by preventing I mean reducing It spawn chances

Rush: He is the common entity in this game. If the light flickers, immediately find a hiding spot, Rush will destroy every lights in his way. But Rush usually wouldn't get you if you stay in like corner. And also, if a different light flickers meaning something different is gonna happened (which will be explained later on this comment)
Screech: Always and only active in dark rooms, never active in rooms that Rush had lights destroyed. When you hear a "psst" immediately start looking around quickly to avoid Screech from damaging you (he takes 30%-40% of health if you don't have time to look at it). Also the longer you progress the game, the more he refuses to whisper
Eyes: Slight rarely appears in any room. They don't like to make eye contact, if do then he will take 10% of player's health rapidly when looking at it. They emits purple light too, to make it a little easier where he is.
Seek: Mostly arrives at a big hallway room (room 30-40), and most specifically all you have to do is just run. (stage 1) There will be fallen bookshelves for the player to crouch through, (stage 2) in this parts you need to use your fast reaction time meaning you would have to look both left and right, if both left and right door is blocked up and then go to another door ahead, (stage 3) in this part you have no more choosing but to just run and avoid the fires & the hands
Timothy: A spider that has an absurdly low chance to appear in one of every drawer, it also does a minimum amount of damage to the player
Hide: He is always active for the hiding spots (except for The Figure's part, soon be explained later on this comment). Meaning if you stay in a hiding spot for too long Hide will kick you out. And also, the longer you progresses the game the earlier Hide will attack (he also does 40-60 damage)
Jack: He is very harmless & does no damage but he does has an absurdly low chance to appear in one of the closet & behind a labeled door, his role is to jumpscare people
The Figure: Can't see, but uses excellent hearing and vibration senses. In the rooms with The Figure, Hide will not be active to kick people out. If the figure is close to a person in a closet the person has to do a heartbeat minigame (a bit similar to friday night funkin) and needed to press Q to hit the left piece of the heart, E to hit the right piece of the heart. If the player missed, the player get killed by The Figure. In room 50, The player needs to find 5 books for the 5 digit code at the exit. To find the 5 digit code, you have to decipher the code using the paper on the desk, the numbers and symbols you get inside the books. The symbols could either be a letter or a symbol. Also, the symbols on the paper tells you what order the digits need to go in to unlock the lock and escape Room 50. The books can be found in bookshelves and they also make sparkling sounds to make it a little easier where the book can be. On left side of a book will be a symbol, right side is the number. You are going to have to decipher the symbols from the books to get the code.
Ambush: This is similar to Rush, but more aggressive and fast and can come back multiple times to the player (4 times max), so you'll have to stay near the closet until he is actually gone
Glitch: This entity is common in multiplayer. If a player is far behind group of people, the entity will jumpscare and teleport back the player to the group of people and also take 50% of player's health
Halt: This entity is slightly rare and appear when the room a player just entered will have a light flicker longer than Rush's (thus Rush will not come), and then the next room after the long light flickers in the previous room, Halt will make its appearance. Halt is a bit slower than the Player. You'll have to run away from him, and he will teleports infront of the player every few seconds and then the player have to turn around. Halt will do this until the Player reaches to the next room. The flashes also tells you what to do, meaning if it says "Turn around" then turn around and keep running, if it says "Run away" then keep running
The Figure (room 100): Switching the lever in room 100 will trigger a cutscene, after the cutscene finishes the player has to run back and hide in a closet (remember Hide will not be active to kick player out in Room 100). Oftentimes, the player has to do a heartbeat minigame to get past The Figure easily (there are no other ways to get past the Figure but you have to do the heartbeat minigame) and get the key from the elevator and use it to unlock the locked door in Room 100, behind the locked door there will be a elevator power panel and the player has to do a new "minigame". First of all, the elevator power panel will tell the player which number is lit up or not (for example they show you to lit up 4, meaning turn on the 4. they show you to not lit up the 6, meaning dont have to turn on the 6). You have to do this 3 times, but it is okay its not hard. When you finished the third one you have to immediately run to the elevator (where you get the key). And then *You Escaped.*
*HARDCORE MODE:*
- Your surroundings are now and always be darker
- You are slightly slower
- Rush attacks and comes more often
- Ambush attacks and comes often
- Rush and Ambush is more faster and agiler
- Jack jumpscares more often
- Screech attacks more often
- The Figure is twice as fast than his regular speed
- Eyes deals more damage, damage speed rate is increased minimally
- Timothy attacks more often and deals more damage

Here's a tip when your doing seek:
When you see the blue sparkles you don't have to wait till the game makes you crawl, you can crouch instead and it makes it faster than normal and doesn't make time having to wait for your character to crawl. And when you reach the end, how to avoid the hands and fire is pretty easy. If one of the hands is up you have to go that way because if the hand is high it can't reach you but if it's lower it can reach you and you'll die. I hope this helped

I would recommend not using the closets if anything since Figure is blind. Just know his general route and crouch all the way through. You can crouch all you want near him and he won't hear anything unless you're walking. Basically, just avoid him and get out of his path instead of hiding in a closet and getting camped.

There was no crucifix, no skeleton key, no dupe,no jeff, door 100 is being the opposite of difficult, figure didn't have animations he was just a ragdoll, old seek and figure animation, vents still existed, ambush was the hardest, old door 100, old rush sounds, library lever room still existed, old basement room, vitamins were the best way to get health, ambush couldn't spawn before door 4, coins were only for more knobs when you win, old animations, greenhouse didn't exist so it was easier, seek eyes in courtyard, old courtyard and would guaranteed spawn before seek, seek crouching would be automatic, you could easily skip door 100 by going to the side, no rooms, old text, old door 49, old door sounds, and lots of more!😢 ( Thank you guiding light for giving us a nostalgia music for the old doors) ( And thank you WSPLASH for creating this.)

2. theres a cutscene with the figure just like door 50
