Some of the best fun I’ve ever had taking photos has been with cheap adapted c mount security camera lenses adapted onto a m43 body. They give such a unique spiral dream look. Highly recommend you look into it.
Made lots of great images on Holga and the Arrow and Diana f . you find the Fisher Price. Video camera. Cinema Paradisio, my life as a dog. Don't forget Fellini Roma and Toto the Hero and Central Station. And and I could go on 😂

Enjoyed this video even though I am anti-Holga or any kind of crap fest on film. I reserve all experimentation with digital with my 5d classic or digicams. Film prices and more than that lack of availability has made me very choosy with using it. Wish it were not the case but I have been burnt. Your videos always surprise and have a very punk quality. Thanks man 🙏 I completely understand what you mean. And I agree, film has got to a stage that it’s so inaccessible it’s not funny, However, I’m noticing something. After playing with the Fuji x100f and spending more time in light room… digital images are getting so close to mimicking film that it’s Changed the way I use film (I’ve been taking shots with film and the x100f, and I can edit the digital image to a point that I actually like it better than film 😬). Now don’t get me wrong, I still think film is superior. But digital has definitely caught up in the last few years…. And what’s even more scary is that smart phone cameras are getting the point now that they are almost rivals to digital cameras.. very scary stuff So for me film has to give me something different. If the film shot looks too clean and clinical…. We’ll than I could have just shot it on my x100 and saved the money. No I want my film shots to do that special thing that only film can do. And that why I’m loving the holga - it’s got that blurry vignette ✅ pin sharp centre ✅ medium format focal compression ✅ film colours✅ film exposure latitude✅ light leaks✅ - all these things make the image look inherently filmic, and it’s unmistakable. And that’s what I’m paying for… That’s my 2 cents anyway 🤣 Gotta love a bit of fear and loathing 💪🍄🌝
oh man, so true. I had a Diana F plastic camera and it was awful. The shots were blurry, light leaks everywhere, the bottom of the camera wouldn't connect properly and took half a roll of tape to stop it falling off, the lens was soft, the shutter speeds were so inconsistent that I could take two shots one after the other of the same thing using the exact same lens and settings and one shot would come out massively over exposed and the other shot would come out massively under exposed. The camera was a rattley, unreliable, dodgy piece of garbage and I sold it. Man, I really miss that camera.
