I hate breakouts, sense I started avoiding them my account has grown so much faster. Breakouts are so seductive but the truth is the upward swing is over by the time most can get in. Another great video. Thanks for all your help

My go to setup is a huge engulfing candle on the 4H time frame that makes a new high/low and closes above/below resistance (breakout). I then enter at 61.8% retracement.

The probable solution is get in on bounce backs from breakout supports or let the price consolidate before entry for swing trades ..fomo is bad in markets

Trading Crypto. Crushed so many times from thinking it would breakout but so quickly come back in leaving huge shadow behind. I think that trade breakout is one of the most tricky one and have characteristic of gamble.

Unless you can draw a ruler straight line across the area, it is not worth taking breakouts. Pullbacks over breakouts any day for me. I've learnt my lesson.

very true, and even more so for forex, which I feel is designed to trap those who try to catch a break which just get stop-hunted in a trice. Maybe less so for commodities

Breakouts are easier on the lower time frames. Higher time frames are more prone to fake breakouts from my experience.

Although breakouts gives us a 39% win-rate or so. It does actually gives us a pretty decent ROI 😂 considering you know how to exit a trend.

So do you enter early on at least a 2:1 win ratio & take profit if the breakout fails?

Not difficult, but it works 90% of the time. Almost always great to trade a breakout from a range / congestion zone.
