I would say historically your advice is very sound with regard to laying a slow to start favourite. However ,in recent months , there seems to be alarmingly, (in my view and in the context of the trade offered), frequent instances of favourites whose prices remain at the price offered beforehand, during in play, regardless of their position etc. In the past they would certainly double in price etc but now they don't at all. Perhaps this is down to TPZ data or perhaps it is down to modelling of prices from within the house.
I can’t believe it. I was literally just watching this video and at exactly the same time Another Day Out planted in the 3.10 @ Leicester. What are the chances?
I dutched the 3 horses against Shiskin as I thought the fav was poor value and one of the other 3 could win. I couldn't believe my eyes when within seconds of the off I was showing a nice green up. Mind you I never take anything for granted as I once saw a jump race where a horse was left 50 lengths at the start and still managed to win.
Hi Peter, great video. I know you have talked about the gambling white paper in previous videos, but do you think any future legislation could eliminate exchanges all together?
Hey there, glad you enjoyed the video! As for future legislation eliminating exchanges altogether, well, let's just say I hope not! I don't think anyone wants to go back to the bad old days of betting. My view is there will always be something to step into the space, but we will have to keep an eye on what the lawmakers have in store for us short term.
Have u made any money on I’m A Celeb? Excellent way to trade based solely on psychology and not random outcomes. Josie started at 2.5 and was gteed not to win. You could’ve laid to your entire liability, £150k+ had traded within the first two days.
You've completely missed the point of this video. Horse was playing up at the start. If it started behind the others you should be able to grab a few ticks profit, so it makes sense to lay it, not back it. Race started and Shiskin refused to race. Massive bonus.
Nothing worse than having a good pre race trade and greened up and the next thing befair suspend market and take all your green off you 😩 any tips Peter for this or like you said suck it up 👍👍

I was fortunate to be on Shiskin as a small MB, a very welcome double win!
Well done!
@@betangeltv Peter, what size is you computer monitor ? thanks

It was brilliant for me... I've been trying the lay the odds on approach for a while 😂❤
Perfect!

Who needs favorites when you can have a nice green up?

Yes I did

Y, I quite like reality TV events. There is a thread on the forum.
and again how can you lay in the middle of the race you have to predict that and that's not so easy

You could take SP, but as I mention in the video that can go against you as well.
