As soon as you said it was a strap on his back, I knew it was a problem. I have broken every strap on these D&D figs. They are too short, barely glued on, too rigid, and are not meant to endure stress. Even if the strap didnt break initially, Im willing to bet my last dollar that the weight of Elkhorns pack would break that strip with time and gravity alone.
I just got this and broke the strap trying to get the backpack on. A little super glue and it's all good except that pack probably is never coming off. The heart gem is a nod to the original d&d adventure that focused on these characters called "Quest for the Heartstone".
I've just opened this guy up and absolutely blown away by the accessories. A few problems I ran into though - his wrists are super loose so I can't pose him as well as I could. Also, why the hell did he not come with a couple of splayed hands so he can pose with the heart and the purple stone accessories? And the backpack was a pain - I ended up using the other end of a spoon to help me stick it on. Also his articulation is limited by his beard and stature but because of the accessories and the beautiful sculpt he's a definite contender for figure of the year for me.
Really hope we see more of this line really want the final evil hero Kelek, you can t have him mentioned on wardukes pack and not have him and release his unreleased 80s figure.
The heart-shaped jewel is the titular artifact from the Dungeons & Dragons module "Quest for the Heartstone" which featured all of the characters from the LJN AD&D range (both Good and Evil alignments) being brought together to seek the magical gem in question.
Bummer about the backpack. We need Northlord now! I have Warduke and Strongheart and im waiting for Northlord i had all 3 as a kid. I also just got all the Hasbro D&D cartoon figures.
I knew this and was going to be a bump in the road. Actually, I don’t think any of the rest can come close to the initial releases, but I’m still gonna get them just because I’m an idiot.
3 good guys 2 bad guys! Oops
Imo, all of these DnD figures should've came with treasure & torches....invokes dungeon crawling & actual dnd campaigns. Love this line btw.
That’s my next figure brother! Thank for getting me into this line 😁✌🏼😎
i've been waiting for this lil man for a while! he looks as good as i thought he would

All you have to do on the backpack is slide something under the flap and and spread it open and it stays open and slides on and off easily.
Elkhorn looks Awesome!!! The Good Stuff as always!!!

You put your finger in the backpack and press against the clip it goes right on and off everytime. Took me a while to figure out.. lol
I’d say to heat up the backpack and it should go on fine. The figure looks cool.
Looking good
@Toy Gains Where did you get your Elkhorn from? I have mine pre-ordered but not due until end of the month.
