I followed your tutorial and I realized I didnt like using the cardstock for the name and used orcal 651 for the name. Still used cardstock for the offset. It turned out really good and when transferring the vinyl it didn't rip the card stock
Shaniqua White Thank you! I honestly don’t remember the size of the back pieces... I just made offsets of the letters, the biggest piece is set at an offset of 0.08 and the 6 layers are set at an offset of 0.06... the actual letters are 1.95x2.42” and all of this was done with my silhouette cameo 2
Life with Tasha hey!! thanks for watching! Epoxy just gives the cardstock that extra protection and sturdiness but you can definitely get by with using it!
Demita34 hey there!! Thanks for watching! You can share your pic by tagging me on fb or insta or messaging me on either... my socials are in the description box!!! I can’t wait to see🤗
I'm loving the project. My questions are, what are the measurements for the letters, and since I do not have a cutting machine, what are the suggestions for other options, like what pre cut letters to buy and trace. I really want to try this. But I don't have enough info. Please advise.
LaToya Quinney 1.95”x2.42” and I mentioned you could print the word or name out on card stock and cut around it using scissors... precut letters may work! And thank you sooo much for watching!! Be sure to subscribe 🤗
Dose Of Paris unfortunately, I don’t know of any classes. It’s just the basics though, type a word using the text button, pick a font, and cut on settings according to your software...
Can you please suggest the best resin to use, I'm using the Art resin because I read it was better for in home use but I think it cures too soft. And can you show me the back of some of your pieces please. TIA
Hey there! Thanks for watching. I use the recollections brand cardstock... you can always us a little acrylic paint to cover the white paper part too if it becomes too noticeable. Hope this helps🤗
Bruce&Keda Waters hey there! Thanks for watching! I use a brush for the mod podge and a separate brush for epoxy... they are just the cheapest little brushes, I believe I paid $1.50 for a pack of 100!
Diane Briggs hey there! Thanks for watching! I get them all over! The local hair stores, online, some department stores in my area, Walmart... it really varies.

Rasheda Robinson hey there! Thanks for watching🤗 I use silhouette cameo so I use the glitter cardstock setting which is 2 passes with a 6 blade and about force 33 and speed 3, hope this helps
K Squad You can download the silhouette software for free... make your design in it.... TURN YOUR DESIGN ALL BLACK.....then insert a WHITE SQUARE and place your design on top of the white square. Use your Microsoft SNIPPING TOOL to copy your design and save it to your desk top. Open up your Cricut software and upload your newly created design.. you know what to do from there. FYI. This technique Works for any design you want to get “inspiration” from.
Do you have to cut 6 layers of the glittered stock? Does it make a difference in the final product? Can the 6 layers be 5 regular blue and the top in glitter?
Hey there! Thanks for watching, you can cut however many layers you desire... you can stack em before mod podging so you can kinda get a feel for the thickness you want, and if you want just one layer on top, that’s fine too! It’s all personal preference, hope this helps!!
Tinys Creations hey there! Thanks for watching!! I didn’t on this pair, but I started doing it to protect the entire earring from moisture after while...
gaming master hey there! Thanks for watching! I’m not familiar with a maker as I’m totally loyal to my silhouette 😂 I am in a fb group called The Bamboo Hustlers, join that group and I know there are several with cricut a who could answer your questions!!
Shaniqua White Thanks for watching!!! The biggest offset piece is set at 0.08 and the 6 layers in between are set at 0.06, the actual blue name is set at 1.95”x2.42” I believe!
Shaniqua White yes. The measurements seem smaller because the offset is just and outline shadow, you just have to play with your machine and figure out your settings...

Nobody can give you measurements for names because each name is a different length. Your earrings may differ. Do some of your own research.
