This show is so incredible. One of those rare stories that comes along and just shakes your soul. If I think about the finale now, I’ll just start crying again. Everyone who was a part of this production should be extremely proud.
Yep, truly incredible. So unique a show that I find it difficult trying to explain what makes it so special. Just memorable and moving
@@lutzaby1997 I highly disagree. But I understand if it isn’t for everybody.
Daddy liked
This story shook everything in me, and there’s so to take from it. But it’s always amazing in its presentation and the bread crumbs of story that you’re given.
For me, the scene where Kirsten is yelling at Alex, while the audio of Jeevan yelling at young Kirsten plays at the same time. That cracked something deep down inside of me.
I started crying when I read your message. How can something gives us all the same deep soul feeling? It’s genius and definitely divine!!!
I wept when Kirsten turns and sees Jeevan. Awesome scene
Nobody gets people back - that matters.
she almost missed him because of her obsession with the book. Not gonna lie some episodes were tough to get through. That reunion, I did the "man cry" the gasp, and gulp thing. I thought they weren't going to meet Kersten passed him at least once, and they made it a point to say the doctor left already. I went in blind I didn't know anything about the book at first the way they made it seem was Jeevan had premonitions about the future, mainly that train station scene. I missed it did Miranda die?
When Kiersten meets Jeevan. What a moment. What a journey. What a story. Loved it! Brilliant!!
Remember that look Kiki 👀 gave Leavin Jeevan before he disappeared from her life? I can see why he was scared of her. She'll cut a mofo.
@@lutzaby1997 Your entire comment is very weak and the writing is bad, overall. At least state some reasons why you think the writing is "contrived and clumsy," some of us might even agree. Nevertheless, without any sound reasoning, you come off as a bitter caricature critic :).
@@lutzaby1997 you're*
I liked it! Definitely teared up. Though I wish we got to see them explain to each other how they got separated. I'm sure there was some guilt there that would've been nice to see resolved, especially on Jeevan's side being nicknamed Leavin' Jeevan. He felt responsible for her and likely felt he let her down.
The ending we needed and deserved at this time. I will pull up that part about once a month. The acting was outstanding.
I remember damage
Then escape
Then adrift in a stranger's Galaxy for a long, long time ✨
This show made me cry. I’m a 22 year old man. Cried like a fuckin baby when jeev and Kiki saw each other again. Just a beautiful show.
This show will stay with me for a long time. For someone watching so much tv it’s huge. Thxs. Best child acting ever. And hope people check out halt and catch fire for more kiki. Best hug of the year. And show x
Kiki?
@@harrymonk70 It's what Arthur called Kirsten.
Yeah children and adult Kirsten outstanding Performance there are alot of good Young actors around now at this time Paper Girls had also great Talent its amazing
English nerd here. The way you used Macbeth to completely transform the classic to the telling of this amazing tale. There is simply not enough movies or tv with this type of nuance and emotion. I’m from Georgia, so midnight train hit hard. Looking forward to what this team creates next.
Especially loved Jeevan, Frank, young Kirsten, and Miranda. Amazing performances
This show is really something else. One of the greatest things I've ever seen.
It felt Like lost how the Puzzles came together Line by line
As a huge Sci fi fan I personally found this to be a beautiful story enacted by a wonderfully talented set of actor's/actresses.
This was a breath of fresh air after being flooded by sequels and remakes for the last few years.
im danny's nephew and i could not be prouder of everything he accomplished during this show, tremendously amazing show and cast
He did great. Loved seeing him as Hamlet.
He was great! BTW, I noticed he doesn't really like to talk much.
I cried like a baby at the end when they reunited.
This show broke my heart. I remember damage. I had forgotten some of the sweetness of life on earth. But then it healed me and there is no before, only now. I have been adrift in this writers galaxy for a long long time. I have watched this show 9 times before, maybe 10. I will watch it again.
This show touched me on a level I could never have anticipated! Just beautiful. The cast, direction, score and story. The juxtaposition of joy and sorrow. I balled my eyes out several times but that Hamlet seen in the final episode and the reunion took the cake. I’m so happy that work like this is still made. ❤️❤️
Seriously. Never thought I'd weep watching a performance of Hamlet.
OMG!! Not Mackenzie’s dog just sleeping throughout the whole interview 🤣
That pup is so assed out, I am so glad someone else noticed!!
I like seeing her pet the dog.
I just watching Mackenzie and her dog on this entire interview
@@loveadkins ha.. Me too
CHRISTOPHER RYAN! Loved this show so much, really grateful to everyone involved for working through the pandemic and awful weather to bring it to life.
Can someone ask poor Daneil a question
Loved the show. I’m always blown out of the water by Mackenzie Davis, she’s so talented
Yes She is so Talented 😍👍
I love what the show did. As a lover of the book, I fully endorse the changes that were made for a visual medium. The Jeevan/Kristen relationship and the transformation of Miranda were great choices. One of the best book to Visual transformations I’ve ever had the pleasure to enjoy ☺️
The dog sleeping on Mackenzie Davis' bed!! 😍😍
Such a brilliant production. I started it all over again once I got to the end, and loved it even more the 2nd time around.
I loved the music. The Dr. Eleven theme wrecked me every time. What made me finally lose it was "Midnight Train to Georgia."
After ep 9, I knew I loved it.
Anyone that likes SE should love the leftovers. More than compelling, it’s therapeutic.
I also love how the cast knew they were making magic but couldn’t place their finger on why. I think it came down to the sheer passion for creating. Bravo all involved
SE reminded me The Leftovers so much. Both went under the radar of many people, but those who find them on their way are generally moved/transformed
Great call!! didnt even think about it until i saw this, these two provoke similair feelings in me. Absolutely love both
this was a brilliant, moving, absurd, yet human story. I entered it thinking there were but all these predictable tropes and it constantly surprised me. I fell in love.
I love that Daniel Zovatto is still in character
Such a masterpiece
Low End Theory by A Tribe Called Quest is one of my go to road trip albums and it starts with Excursions. So as he soon as the beat started I had a ‘no fucking way’ moment and then smiled and rapped along in my living room. That song has started so many great journeys for me :)
My favorite TV scene of all time
I can´t believe all my neighbors started cutting onions at the same time when I watched the last episode
One thing I'm realizing watching this interview is that Station Eleven is more interested that almost any show about "Men in Pain" that doesn't frame their ways of dealing with that pain as a result of insufficient character but without blaming anyone else either.
RUclips is killing me with these back to back no skip ads
great cast, incredible show loved it from start to end
This gem got me tearing up at the end!
You folks pulled together one of the best TV series I have ever seen. Superb!
First question to Danielle about another cast member not present v her own wonderful contribution? Interview fail.
I keep randomly crying just thinking about this show, I love it so much. Thank you.
Yeah, nice to know there is someone like me out there.
I loved the show, great work
I cried so hard at the end ❤️❤️such a beautiful show.
have to admit the show almost lost me somewhere in the middle and then Frank started rapping Tribe and I said dammit I'll keep watching and I'm glad I did
What an experience.
Don’t think I’ve ever cried more watching a show man great show
I love this series. It's become my top favorite TV series of all time.
I noticed that Danny seemed a bit hesitant to talk here.
When a show can make me emotional for a character I had basically no empathy for up to the season finale (Dylan)…what can I say.
This show is powerful. Amazing surprise because I had no idea what to expect, let alone knew this was an adaptation of a book.
Best show of 2021. Cheers.
Damn shame that basically no one I know knew about this show until I brought it up and very little coverage I’ve seen from the TV/Cinema reviewers that litter my feed.
하 진짜 최근 내 최고의 티비드라마는 키딩이었는데 세상에 ㅠㅠㅠ 정말 훌륭한 작품이다
Beautifully done.
The resemblance of young kirsten and adult kirsten is just so amazing and on point! Both gave justice to their characters omg i cant believe the story has finally come to an end
@@lutzaby1997 yeah, they don't look anything alike, but who cares, both did an amazing job
i really wish they did a 5 season show instead of a limited series I cant get enough of the feel of this show.
I can’t think about this show without crying so so hard
Thats how good Shows a Made of a rare GEM one of the best this Year outstanding actors Performance 9/10
thank you this was great i could listen to another hour
Thanks for watching!
Is Chris ryan occasionally on the rewatchables podcast?
Yep
I rarely watch anything more than once. Over the months, I have returned to every episode at least 4 times. It is the most magnificent art I have experienced in years. Everything else pales in comparison.
10 out of 10
A beautiful, intriguing show.
The show's on HBO/MAX, but the credits says Paramount Television. Was the show sold to HBO/MAX?
During the entire interview, I’m just eyeing what Mackenzie pup is doing lol
When does the show runner/author release the actual "station 11" book?
The book was released in 2014...
Common now, how come Daniel Zovatto "The Prophet," did not get to talked?
Thank you for your work, really, you can be proud the acting is simply brilliant. What a great and amazing tv serie.
Lol at 39:34 Mackenzie starts petting her pup 😊
The music is a character. So true. One of my fav shows ever.
I kept saying this every time I talked about the show. The score is so on point the way it matches the scenes and feelings. It sounds nothing like other show scores. I can’t get enough of it.
Just finished it today hope there's a season 2
Whoa it’s the Brady Bunch
LOVED! one of the best shows!
I subscribed to Crave/HBO Max in preparation of The Last of Us, and decided to binge-watch "this post-apocalyptic TV show with Mackenzie Davis". I was not disappointed! 😍
Powerful, poignant, and beautiful. At times I’m on the edge of my seat but it wound the story perfectly - the casting is on point. Mackenzie Davis & Himesh Patel just blew me away but Matilda Lawler was a tour de force.
I could talk about this for days..
I had no idea what I was getting I to with this show what a ride
I love that Patrick hijacked the interviewer role for much of this conversation, it makes for an especially personal look at the process behind this beautiful show
Miranda Carroll's best character. Thank you Danielle Deadwyler.
CR heads standup
Dude this show was Amazing! Each episode has your emotions tugging everywhere. A must watch for those who don’t mind a stressful, happy, sad, joyful, and very satisfying journey. Keep the tissues need by. You’re gonna need them!
I am watching Stations Eleven for the 2nd time. And yes, watching the show and not really knowing what was happening, but then going oh yeah, ok, so cool and so surreal, and subconscious. And a shout out to Lori Petty (tank girl), she is so cool, saw her around towne in LA. Oh and I love Mackenzie's dog, too cute.
Bravo to the Production Designer - and to whoever did the graphic novel 🏆 Also - excellent casting.
But where o where is the Queen Lori Petty? Thank you for giving this incredible actress a role that matches her greatness!!!!
Thanks for including so much content for the passionate ones, I literally like this experience of the unknowns as I've not viewed the show, but appreciate all you wonderful artists nonetheless ❤️ extremely special something going on 😎✌️
Wish they could have actually filmed in Michigan! I mean Ontario's pretty close to the vibes they were going for, but I'd like to be able to recommend it to people around here without qualifying that it wasn't actually shot here lol
Danielle Deadwyler blew me away
Her acting is amazing, she was my favourite character despite having a supporting role
I'm here for Mackenzie Davis. I love her... She is amazing !!!
Masterpiece. A wonderful smorgasbord of soulful art.
Came here for Station Eleven, was a few minutes in listening to it when I was like “is that Chris from the ringer moderating? Okay cool, two of my favorite things!
Loved Station Eleven. For the love of all things, HBO needs to release it on Blu-ray
This was a great panel discussion, but I was surprised at how little Danny said about playing his character.
22:25
Is it just me or they put Jessica Rhoades, the only EP who didn't direct an episode, there to prove that they have women in the team.
Will now rewatch with new eyes knowing some of the behind the scenes goings on ❤
Amazing Show ❤️
Amazing Mackenzie ❤️❤️❤️
Amazing ❤
Can't get enough to watch Mackenzie 😍😍😍
Bravo! 👏 most excellent.
How big is that bed though???
The casting director should be included here, right? Also Matilda, she’s so real in the absolute most endearing way…she and Himesh sell this whole thing right off the bat.
daniel fretto you are soo right bud from nyc
Thank you 💓🙏
Well Dan’s emotionality makes sense, he is a Cancer, ha! (& wicked cute)
Season 2?
