I love these videos. One thing I might like to see is, E.g. I was Arches National Park and have shots of my wife standing in an arch. Because the person is so far away, LR doesn't detect 'people'. I can use select 'Object' and that helps. It would be nice if I could force LR to detect people in much the same way I can select an object. Minor nit, I suppose but would be a nice improvement.
Hi from Denmark - Thank you for your 3 great videos this week. I have moved from Photoshop to LrC during the last 2 years, and this is amazing. You explain all so well. I had resistance for LR for many years as I started out with Photoshop, but now......! Fantastic tool !
Those are incredible addition to LrC that will be time savers for us and thank you so much for the fantastic demonstrations that you've done since you're allowed to talk about them.
Yoyr videos are amazing. Lightroom is becoming the perfect photographer's post processing tool for most photographers, leaving Photoshop to much more advanced requirements. Starting the workflow with Lightroom majes more and more sense as time pass (and new features are added). I would love to see more advances on tethering (the flexibility and advanced features of CaptureOne). Is there something like that in the pipeline for the next update (13?)
They have made some big updates in previous versions with tethering. And you can even apply presets as they import into your Lightroom!! What advanced tethering features are your favorite in capture one?
How fantastic! And for teeth whitening, I desaturate instead of correcting for color. This is really great for group photos . No matter what shade of yellow teeth everyone has, they are whitened. Is there anything wrong with this method?
That’s a good question. Sometimes just desaturating will actually make the teeth look dingy and dark grey. So next time I think a combination of bluer tone and a little desaturation will be better!
Is any of this capability going to be released on the mobile versions of Adobe Lightroom (iPhone / iPad), such as selection specific people in a group to edit, and features like eyes, mouth, etc. I
You just wouldn’t add them to begin with - since you can activate and select the people you want to include. But I’ve already thought to suggest an “exclude” option.
I work with Lightroom since 2007. This is a great step forward for this amazing software! 😎
That’s awesome Roland! And I sincerely would agree!!
MIND BLOWN! Wow!! I will soon be back to lightroom from C1

You’re most welcome! And I second that!

Very cool tech and a wonderful explanation that was easy to follow. Great teeth tip too. Thanks Kristina!
Totally my pleasure! Just help me spread the word! It’s so great I want everyone to know about it.
This is awesome!!! This will make portrait retouching so much better!
Actually you will hit a roadblock of frustration when you copy masks from one photo to the next.... see my comment and details above.
Create a preset and that will solve it. At least for photos with one person for now.
I totally agree! For 1 click 1 person facial retouching - this is a game changer!
Very, very impressive!
Agreed! Thanks for the comment mk!

Hi there! Yes I agree. You can do so much more now just in Lightroom - it’s great!
Those are incredible addition to LrC that will be time savers for us and thank you so much for the fantastic demonstrations that you've done since you're allowed to talk about them.

WoW!!💋
Amazing, right?
It is a gamechanger
It truly is! That word is over used but to be able to isolate
Those features and apply settings to them with one click - is life changing.
@@SharkPixel Even less need to switch over to PS for editing.
Totally!
Can you remove a person from a group?

They should add this to Lightroom. I hate Lightroom classic with a passion
😂 glad we had this discussion on a different video!!! ❤❤❤
