Gets more and more Awesome everytime I listen to it !!! Do you have any suggestions? I'm trying to learn this piece now. Should I learn the whole song one clef at a time? Should I go super slow at first. Should I pleay each clef at the same time but go super slow? thanks !
I downloaded the tune from RUclips using a RUclips to mp3 converter. After, I send the file onto my app on my phone called Amazing Slowdowner, which is an app that let's you slow down or loop certain section of the tune. Hope that helps!
Oscar is GOD.Listen to all the naysayers; probably couldn’t play it except on your iPhones. ‘EVERYONES got an opinion, just like they have bum holes’. ‘Knockers that play’, PFFFT. Thanks LUPA, don’t listen to theses uneducated bozos. ONLY OSCAR PETERSON PLAYS IT AS OSCAR PETERSON’!🎹👊🏾😈✨
Create your own style. First you can never play with vigor and passion the way the original artist played it. Its nice to impress friends with your copied musical prowess but as a showcase piece, not advisable. Copycats are identified as VARIETY INTRUMENTALIST not TRUE GRADED MUSICIANS.
I understand where you're coming from. Thanks for the advise. I wanted to share this mainly for educational purposes because there are some great vocabulary that I could use in my improvisation and maybe some others that would feel inspired by this transcription. I don't think I'm gonna be using the piece to be showing off to people any time soon. Hope this clarifies some things
This video will be useful for studying OP's vocabulary, particularly his approach to the LH, so thanks for that.
Amazing
Great resource for budding sight readers who are rhythmically challenged! Thanks!!!
This isn't a "sight reading" contest piece. Oh, the hours and hours of practice involved is certainly appreciated by me. Signed: Fellow musician.
That put a huge smile on my face. Thanks so much for sharing!

Lupa, did you record that at a slower speed and then speed it up to normal speed in post-production?
