- This is what it's all about. The contenders and invitees competed for a chance to rope and ride for a share of $3 Million. The field has been narrowed down to 10 competitors in each event on Championship Sunday at The American Rodeo.
The greatest experience in rodeo, the Super Bowl of Western sports, The Crown Jewel of Rodeo, The American is an unrivaled celebration of the rodeo sports of the American West. This epic annual event represents the richest single-day event in all western sports in a battle for what could be the biggest single-day paycheck of their careers for these top professional rodeo athletes.

I hate when they forget history
It's great to learn the true origin of cowboys. It began with Capitán Blas María de la Garza Falcón, the original colonizer of Texas. Search for "Mexican Rodeo" and you'll see many other cowboy skills never adopted by the Americans. Vaquero culture was Anglo-washed by carpetbaggers after the Mexican-American war, in particular a New Yorker, steamboat Captain Richard King.
I disagree Casey Tibbs is the original and the best
