My heart goes out to anyone living in the tornado alley. We don’t get tornados where we live , but it would only take one and we’d have a storm shelter for sure.

I also live in an area where we don't get but maybe 1 tornado every 10 years...my thoughts, prayers and my heart goes out to all of those families in those cities that got hit yesterday and also the Firefighters, Police Officers and First Responders for everything they do and all the lives they save and people and even their pets that they help and save 🙏
In this day and age there doesn't seem to be a tornado alley or time of year that is safe. Even now in other countries that never had tornadoes. Always be weather aware Darlene.
Better be safe than sorry, even if it takes 10-20 years for tornado to struck your area

Incredible footage 🌪️ Well they've rated Minden EF3, as well as giving a preliminary EF3 to the prior cycle from McClelland to Minden. These were fierce wedges.
I live smack in the middle of tornado alley on the border of Arkansas and Oklahoma.
I hope this isn't an indicator of what the season is going to be like

almost never is we had an EF-4 tornado here in iowa in early March of 2022 and not much happened after that for the rest of the year

Best footage of the entire chase community. Great job. Who could stand to listen to guys like timmer. I hate to say it but I'm not the only one who has seen unnecessary risks being taken by him and a couple of others. El reno is reason enough not to. I bet that wedge was a good mile to a mile and a half wide at the bottom and that probably was as big and maybe a bit bigger than The Mayfield tornado but I don’t know if it would be as strong but damn it was a huge son of a gun nonetheless

I watched all this live yesterday it was crazy!!! F4- F5 in spots. Minden was absolutely a F4+ @ 2:00 is when it hits Minden. Terrible...prayers go out for everyone

You cannot tell me that wasn't a EF5 four and half mile wide that's not a super tornado that's a damn mega beast tornado . Good God unbelievable I hope there were no casualties. May God be with them.
A tornado could be 10 miles wide, with 1,000 mph winds, & still be given an EF-0 rating, if it causes no damage to any standing structures, or causes no loss of human life or wildlife.
A wedge does not mean it’s a ef4 or 5. Not how it works

As a storm chaser - is there ever an opportunity where you can stop to help those who just had their lives ripped apart?
you must not watch the stream very often. im constantly stopping and helping.. did yesterday on stream as well
I see them stop frequently. A lot of chasers do. But often there are already tons of people helping or survivors up walking around safe that you don't see from the camera - plus some don't want strangers wandering around picking through their stuff either. I was once helping somebody out of a car that had gotten rolled across a farm field into a ball of crumpled steel (somehow they were fine) and their neighbor came up pissed thinking I was looting, the survivor had to call them off.
No I don't watch the stream regularly. But that's really cool that you stop to help!
It's part of what they do it's kind of a rule once you're done watching that thing go bye but you have to help

Tornado near by, truck on it's side, debris on the sides of the road, and the idiot drivers on the road decide to rubberneck and go really slow forcing you to also go really slow.

Oooookkkkk Bub... Another Clueless person.. Do you realize my stream was broadcast live on KETV in Omaha as the tornadoes were progressing? Do you realize i have direct access to NWSChat so i can report what is on the ground instantly? do you realize out of all these high end tornadoes only 1 person has died? That is because we are bringing info to the public and getting warnings out sooner.. Am I going to put it on youtube to help offset some gas prices? Yes I am ... Suck it up or dont watch...
