Since dodging maintain your current combo state, i just dodge cancel the rolling slam in order to get to the finisher faster. You can dodge the instant you see the sharpened focus flash from activating his rolling slam, and activate the combo finisher after.
I'm still trying to understand this. What attack is the rolling slam? Been trying to figure this out. The only thing I've noticed is you parry which takes you to max combo state and then you dodge around maintaining it. But what is the rolling slam?
@@tommyddurand In shortest combo state (after a successful parry or gradually building up sharpen focus by doing combo finishers), your combo command will consists of XY. X is the attack you must do before you use combo finisher, which i call the "rolling slam" (you can find this being used without dodge cancels at 2:13 or 3:06, as an example). This attack has 3 downsides which generally makes it not worth doing and incentizes immediate dodge cancel in my opinion: - Does too little damage. - Generates too little SBA. - Send you into the air during most of its animation. The Aerial time can be troublesome in my experience, as dodging in the air can mess up your combo, causing you to drop your warpath (this can be avoided by doing Y immediately after dodging, can maintain combo once you land on the ground. But still undesireable due to the extra time loss). However, this attack can still be used in between dodges as a method of moving around, while avoid triggering the dodge limit (example can be found in 8:02).
Do you mean to ask about the damage parser? It's an 3rd party application called GBFR Logs, which you can get from the release page of github here: github.com/false-spring/gbfr-logs
I'm pretty sure his skills were always outputing more damage than just using his combo finisher ever since the game's release. So yes it's way stronger.
Finally, a lore accurate Yodarha

Very nice, big yoda inspiration.
