+Greyson Greenup. I started Japanese jujutsu since 1977. I became an instructor since 1986. In those days jujutsu was not the norm. All the public knew was karate, Ninjutsu, and Tae Kwon Do. What I admire about the Gracie's is that they worked as a family to put the word out.
Rickson Gracie's autobiography "Breathe" is a must read to understand the dynamics of the Gracie way. It's definitely biased but it contains a lot of insight and it's a helluva page Turner.
@@suckmyballzgameplays7172 insee you've been going around and posting negative comments on BJJ videos, what's the matter? Could you not cut it? Did you get beat up by a BJJ guy? What happened. Do you need a friend or someone to talk to? I'm here for you buddy, you can tell me.
The gracies discourage themselves Royce Gracie and Rickson Gracie said my father didn't teach me how to fight he teached me Jiu-Jitsu Rickson Gracie said IAM not a fighter I believe in Jiu-Jitsu fedor emelianenko said Fighting is part of his inner self fedor emelianenko would wreck Royce Gracie and Rickson Gracie in a fight probably they are telling the truth they are not fighters they are just masters in Jiu-Jitsu I would say Francis ngaanou would beat Royce Gracie and Rickson Gracie in a street fight if they were bouth in their prime I also think Mike Tyson would beat up Royce Gracie in a street fight
I am so interested in studying your techniques. However; don't you feel that Jiu Jitsu MMA and all others are now only from the ones who have money. I find it shamefull when most of the techniques and martial arts came from those needing to defend themselves. With two kids I would never be able to pay to learn for all of us. I know we all.have to eat but most are just trying to comercialize and enrich themselves pimpimg respectfull tradition.
Xavier Vel you can receive training through the gracie university online or the gracie combatives dvd series. you say you have two kids?! well you and your kids can train from home and learn the exact same gracie jiu jitsu lessons from your living room with your family for a fraction of the cost..they also have the gracie bullyproof program for kids.
I know the feeling, but where there's a will, there's a way. I'm finally taking BJJ and Judo after years of being broke. There are some places that teach for a very low price. Where I go is only $60 a month.
