I've had too many great memories playing this by myself, and with others as well over the years. Across the films I love, captured in this hilarious fun all audiences type of setup. It has cool lightsabers, interesting blasters and laugh out moments mocking the well known series. So many precious times, and it continues to be something I like to play even today. Oh man I had great memories playing this on my Xbox 360...Now I'm living through nostalgia by playing it on the PS5 😅
sucks that Sony didn't add trophies for this one as they did for Daxter even though that game was a PSP Exclusive back then I just hope Sony isn't this lazy when they add the Force Unleashed PS2 or PSP port
Not everything is about trophies, buddy. Just be grateful they even offered you these games. Not everything in life is about being high-ranked in the leaderboards and competition. Just like Lightning McQueen from Pixar's Cars said "This grumpy old race car once told me something. It's just an empty cup." But this time it's PNG files.
@@megaheroes3611some people just want a goal to work towards buddy which is what trophies were created for I don’t think its a big ask to have trophies implemented into these ports for the people that enjoy going after them if it’s not your style cool but it doesn’t mean everyone else feels the same

I know that on xbox series x and s it’s already available “the complete saga” version and “the force awakens” with 120 fps, the thing that i hate it’s that the ps5, on ps4 games have the same performance, but on xbox series you have remastered quality with 120fps on xbox 360 games 🤧

It doesn’t have co op because for some reason, they ported the psp version which had online co op. They should’ve done the ps2 version

It's part of their porting/remastering program. Some games get picked for this. Most streamed only games are PS3 era whereas this is from the PSP.
oh it's a port, i thought they updated the graphics to look like the xbox 360 version but no it's just the psp version with no changes

@Skycaptin5 sadly you're probably right since the og isn't even on xbox but this is. I guess the complete saga makes it a moot point, but this console doesn't natively have that so there's a sliver of hope
I have a PlayStation Portal so this will be as close as I can get to a PSP experience. But I hope they add trophies at some point. I've put many hours into this game.

is there no possible way to play co op ?
I’m not sure if the PSP version originally had it, but if not, the games also on Xbox (Both TCS & This game) For around the same price (plus the graphics arent super scaled down)

It probably ran the best, or allowed them to upgrade it easily. Keep in mind that PS2 emulation has just been recently refreshed and nothing is available PS3 wise.

Probably the only version they could get running I'd guess. Not sure.
@@Skycaptin5 nah it's the good ol' money incentive. they could've emulated the ps2 version instead (ideally with upscaled textures) which would've meant a working multiplayer and higher quality assets and textures to work with. but why put in the effort when you already have an "in-house" psp emulator where you can just chuck in the old psp rom and call it a day?
and it's most definitely not a technical question seeing as you can emulate almost all ps2 games on a somewhat decent smartphone nowadays, in fact it highlights how lazy and greedy Disney / Lego / Sony are acting because we've had good ps2 emulators on pc for years now and both the ps4 and ps5 are essentially regular x86 computers with proprietary software that dumbs them down into a box that can do nothing more than play games.
@@Skycaptin5To be honest, I’m really glad I got Lego Star Wars 2 for free with gold back in January 2020 for the Xbox, it was the Xbox 360 version which you can play on One and Series X, which has 2 player mode, whilst the PS5 one we have is the PSP version, which did have multiplayer, only if you had 2 PSPs to play via adhoc, while it’s not possible to do that on PS5, pretty disappointing huh, other than that, still happy I got this for free back then for the Xbox when games with gold used to be thing, but after August 2023, it got discontinued, anyone who got this free with gold back in January 2020, you will be able to experience this game and own it forever for 360, One or Series X, I wonder if anyone else got it for free back when games for gold used to be a thing?

@@Paccyd33 graphics are upscaled on PS5, but the Lego games aren’t even about graphics anyway. Multiplayer is a miss, but if you don’t have anyone to play with, not a big loss
Ok I'm gonna be honest I'm not mad I'm just annoyed. There are some parts that are low resolution like the faces on the cantina menu and the custome characters and the low resolution studs along with the character icons on the top left. I literally have my Galaxy S24 Ultra emulating this game on Nethersx2 and those low resolution parts on the PS5 are completely fixed on my dam android phone. 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ They had one dam job and it's annoying. If they are using the PSP version I don't understand why they couldn't get the original PS2 version and updated it properly. You're gonna tell me a multibillion dollar company can't do shit properly but a community of people working for free can 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️

Trying to find classic games like this through the sea of cheap garbage platinum grabber games is next to impossible and not every classic game is on premium/extra feels like a fluke finding a game like this in the store after its off the new release list.
