51k? for a base model f150? PASS! Honestly, the more people that buy or least these the more they will make them that price. Buy used until enough people don't buy them and the price comes down.
💯
yep thats a 30,000 truck at most
$20000 over priced 😒
I guess I’ll be keeping my 2017 F150 for the rest of my life.
Still have my 2002 GMC. I have no legitimate reason to get a new truck with a bunch of stuff I don't need. Of course, if was a battery powered truck it would be died several years ago.
Hope you have a V8
Those are steel rims. Not aluminum.
Correct, missed that correction on the edit. Thanks! 🙏
Not just the rim, but the whole wheel ;)
@@willsingleton6759got emmmmmm
I would like to see NO more obnoxious decals ( non-factory) on the tailgate. Ford built the truck NOT the dealership.
We give the option for customers to have them removed or left off if they order.
It is looking good! Wish I was in a position to buy one!
Nope. TOO pricey for base stripper...
Not a better base madel! When they raise the entry price almost $5k for things that the base customer doesn't want you make it worse. Fleet customers want the truck to do the job for the least money possible. That includes initial purchase and maintenance and up keep. Not to mention ford just added yet another emissions hurdle for us to deal with with active cylinder shut off. Ask gm how that worked out for them....
Sorry to say Chevy's WT ($49,125) beats Ford's XL ($51,430.00). I get Adaptive Cruise Control including all the tech safety features too. You have to get the XLT trim before you match Chevy's entry-level. It's not your fault, it's Detriot management. Oh, I gave you a thumbs-up on the presentation. Ford offers XL 5.0 V8 SWB over Chevy's 1500 I4 TURBOMAX SWB, and RAM doesn't offer SWB trucks. Also of note is to get adaptive cruise control on a RAM pickup you're forced to select Laramie.
a basic work truck does not need all the electronic garbage (all electrical stuff is about the cheapest part but cost the most)all you need is A C a radio and cruise control extra, a new basic price for a full size should be 10/15 % above actual cost
Should be 40,000
yeah after taxes and fees
Why would you need a digital cluster ina base work truck😅
All it needs is adaptive cruise control.
Is this a joke.... 50k for a base model. Nope not today
This is not a Base line, Base line is 2WD with Regular Cab.
The trim is the lowest option, but yes there could be more to make the configuration more basic.
Tail lamps are incandescent, not halogen.
If I would buy one of them it would be the single cab
Still too much money
I guess the word "base model" has a different definition like so many other words today. Back in the day "base model" meant "affordable".
That's more than a brand new 2014 raptor 10 years ago....
Basic got more expensive in 2024, just when people are starting to wise up and not pay these insane prices, gonna be some major lot rot this year.
51000?😢
55k after taxes and fees. For a base model. Welcome to CRAZY TOWN.
The Ford factory window sticker said $51,430. Not sure how much more transparent we could be about no mark up.
How is it a work truck with that price and extras?
All that fancy ‘productivity’ cluster all digital and large infotainment screen but a key from 20 years ago.
I've priced it in Canada...Northern Alberta...almost 60,000.00 by the time you get it off the lot...For a 2 wheel drive ,V8 xL...what a joke! When they get down to 38,000.00 out the door let me know..I have cash saved..but I will absolutely not pay that ridiculous price!!!!
Are these better engines than the garbage turbos
The 5.0 is a great engine option.
Still overpriced!
If I would buy a f150 it would be the xl
I'll take it, nice truck! Yes, pricey for a base model, but now their base model isn't so base. And this is better than dropping +$60K on higher level models. I like what Ford did.
We think it's a great value! The price is higher, but there is a lot more added over the higher trims even just 7-8 years ago.
I thought the 5.0 was standard shouldn't cost anything
2.7L EcoBoost is the standard Engine.
@@huntautoNot in the 2 door!!!! So tired of these man vans!!
can't they make a truck that looks like a truck anymore ??
I just got one for $44K new
I'm a ford fan boy for life but jeez this is an L from me boi
I've been buyin a new f150 every 10 years for a long time (I'm old) no more I like them but not worth the money may be time for a Toyota
Too much money!
its ok.they can sit & rot with the rest of the overpriced RECALL destined models.
Looks really cheap. But man expensive for a bottom of the line!
51,000?? Uh...no! I'll buy a mid to upper grade Toyota Tundra
Get used to it people.. 50K is standard entry level for Crew Cab..
The Coyote 5.0 will help with the Sales.
Yeah yeah they were 30k 10 years ago.. Homes were also 120K cheaper. Go cry there too. Groceries fuel everything was cheaper before.
Consumers are getting EFfed and theres nothing we can do…. Dont say not to buy them because they will sell.. and sell a lot of F150’s….
Everyone complaining about the prices is comedy. Houses were 500k here in California 6 years ago. Now they are nearly 1.5 million. If yall can’t afford a 50k vehicle shit man, go back to school or find another job. Perhaps move out of US? Mexico is near by , gl there
Hahaha, it turns out that Ford is only sold in California
You failed to understand the point….Sad
