Sweet video! im actually currently in the market for a rav4 hybrid. A local dealership had a brand new one kit out from ironman 4x4 with a falken Wildpeak 225/65R17 AS, KMC 17" x 7J Wheels, 1.5" lift, and some other accessories like a roof rack and kayak holder for $37K. ($42k after all the fees and paperwork) They told me because Ironman is local they often will do add-on and custom builds for the dealer. These were already some aftermarket mods I was planning to do anyways. These are the same type of roads I planning on going off road with and disperse camping at in Oregon and Washington, which is how I landed on your channel and videos. Sorry for the long backstory but I was curious as to how you like the rav4 in these conditions and roads? Do you feel it has enough power to get to and through these type of roads and terrain? If I really wanted to go out, out, I would just get a 4runner, but the rav4 will also be my weekly daily commuter which is why i am looking into hybrid trims.
Thanks for sharing your story! That setup from your local dealer sounds pretty awesome. I can't really comment on the price because I don't know the models and prices in the U.S.A, but it does seem pretty good. Regarding suitability for your plans, it's hard to say... my rav4 is also my daily commuter, so I love the efficiency and comfort. I've never felt that it doesnt have enough power, but if you're carrying anything big on the roof (or a trailer) you'll notice a big reduction in fuel economy. With its limited clearance (especially its angle of approach and departure) it's not suitable for rock crawling or deeply rutted tracks. But hey, it's still pretty capable. Sometimes you just need to work out the right way to get past an obstacle, instead of powering through it like you would in a jeep.
Hi Dave, thanks! They're KMC KM708 BULLY. I think they make them to order, so you may need to order them a couple of months in advance. But I could be very wrong.
@@rav4me Beautiful views, Stunning, I have recently acquired a Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Adventure plus AWD-i model, and I am eager to find something at least similar here in Spain to enjoy the adventure.
Great seeing the RAV4 take on those obstacles, impressive!
Thanks for watching! The next couple of episodes will also have some more challenging terrain.
I have a 2021 RAV4 XSE Hybrid AWDi. Love it!

Very impressive! Do you have a lift kit on the Rav4?
Not yet!
When these say " OFFROAD"--- it means " OFF- ASPHALT"- not on a damn JEEP trail....
Hello. What tires do you have on your car?
