I'll see it as basically due to 'business politics'...much the same thinking as why the O 405, O 404, Citaro, Travego or even the Actros etc. range of Mercedes-Benz heavy duty commercial vehicles were never (it appears not even in chassis-form ?) sold in USA market despite being sold in various countries outside Germany & USA.
Waaaaw this bus ! Nach Argentinien this same design bus was made until ca. 1976 or so by the local Mercedes Benz Argentina plant and It was known simply as the Mercedes Benz 911 . You can check the website Busarg and You will see there are thousands like this, just searching the voice Mercedes Benz 911 "colectivos de Buenos Aires " . Mit vielen danke !
I don't understand why it would be called 911 for a bus, as '911' in Mercedes-Benz vehicles tend to refer to the bonneted trucks like LP or LA911 while for buses it starts with letter 'O' (not zero) for 'omnibusse' ?
The suspension seems quite stable (despite looking somewhat jerky on video) being only spring suspended for such vintage buses...i note both the handphone & wallet hardly moved on the dashboard ?!
this buses an the 911 1112 1114 have 5 gears + ma. the first gear, for climb and carry heavy loads. But for buses ,the first gear didn t use, exception a huge gradient.
Bu otobüs 1953 de Almanyada üretilmiş bizim çocukluğumuzda Türkiyedede vardı Tabiki Almanyadan iptal gelmiş Çok güzel bi otobüs bunların kamyonları vardı
You probably dont care but does anyone know of a method to get back into an instagram account..? I was stupid forgot my login password. I appreciate any help you can offer me.

Nice video, in India we had Tata Mercedes Benz 1210D trucks of same model, child hood memories, thanx..
Cool bus!!!
Great movie, I sub your channel, cheers, Fabrizio
Thanks and all the best!
100% Deustch!!!!
Genial
There was one in 1980s yugoslavian movie whos singing over there but in really bad condition, i heard they are restoring it now
Now that's a Mercedes-Benz bus. I consider it a shame that it was never offered here in the USA.
@Jordy Canaan Why did you do that? That's a good way to get in trouble, not only with your friend, but possibly with the law.
Thanks for the ride. I've never understood why these Mercedes-Benz buses were never sold here in the USA.

Comparable to the Bedford OB models of the same era methinks!
So what about this bus? It is like any other bus.
1935 styling oh well
1953... 😊
🇹🇷👍TÜRKİYE
Sadly, I don't speak Deutsch. So I don't understand the description about the bus in the video.
I'll check it out. Thanks. 40hp doesn't seem like much, even for a diesel engine.
