She was among the top 10 most in demand models during the supermodel era (late 80s to early 90s), and had one of the best walks, with an unmatched effortless sex appeal. Hi Doutzen! You are lovely and I really like your "vibe." :) This video really struck a chord with me, because my parents used to host the spring Ready-to-Wear show at the Ritz Carlton in our city way back. Their boutique had the exclusive contract to sell the Dior label in our city. Such a thing no longer exists, and they were very proud of the honor of selling and showing Dior. My mom taught me a lot about haute couture and about fashion in general. After my dad passed, the head of Dior at the time, Jacques Rouet, invited my mom to Paris. She went and had a wonderful time! I have to get back to Paris one day myself, as I think there's nothing quite like it. On a modern note, I love the way Maria Grazia took on a feminist theme and expressed this in the collection, without making it un-feminine. The designs were gorgeous! Thank you so much for sharing this special event with us. xo

She is becoming my favorite supermodel now and a blogger. Unlike other model who only do blogging to promote their products. Doutzen covers around everything from knowledge, travel, food, fashion, family and inspiration. Its like a lifestyle channel. She took it to the next level. Some models just blog about what they eat, their diet, beauty secrets which is cool but Doutzen is not just all about that. I learn a lot from her and she is very natural, no pretentions or no agenda no making business. And I like that it has subtitles. She can make her own lifestyle talkshow someday. She has the passion for people, knowing them and introducing them. She isn’t like someone who wants the spotlight all for herself like other model bloggers do.

When i see Doutzen, i say, if i start a family of my own, i’d love to raise my kids in Amsterdam or somewhere in Holland. Because the culture and mindset of the Dutch people, and the environment is the best to grow a child.
Well, let me tell you something about the south and east of the country. They vote highly conservative and harass refugees, they actually fight people who want our racist holiday tradition called Zwarte Piet (google it). Amsterdam is really expensive to live in (€1200 to rent a room) but it’s the only place that’s REALLY open & welcoming to everyone.

Its because we women don't think that we are Enough. Good enough, beautiful enough, smart enough etc.. silly thing is that we are enough, we can reproduce life - that in itself is extraordinary, we have phenomenal coping skills, we don't even realize how amazing we truly are. We as females are beautiful no matter what our colour or shape or size. There is only one of me now, and long after I am gone from this world there will never be another one of me. Each and every human being is unique, that is our greatest gift & asset. If every woman could look in the mirror and see the miracle that she is we would see a huge change in the world.

Its because we women don't think that we are Enough. Good enough, beautiful enough, smart enough etc.. silly thing is that we are enough, we can reproduce life - that in itself is extraordinary, we have phenomenal coping skills, we don't even realize how amazing we truly are. We as females are beautiful no matter what our colour or shape or size. There is only one of me now, and long after I am gone from this world there will never be another one of me. Each and every human being is unique, that is our greatest gift & asset. If every woman could look in the mirror and see the miracle that she is we would see a huge change in the world.
You laugh also through your eyes. And that's beautiful :)
