Keep focused. I’ve been clean almost 4 years and it’s all about keeping it in front of you. Go to groups or talk to people in the same boat. Even if it’s nothing but hearing their horrifying stories, it reminds you of why you’re doing this. I keep reminding myself of where I could be (opiate addiction jobless almost homeless and hungry.) and that helps me so much. Most of us are helpful to each other and would be willing to chat anytime. I say we’re like vampires or the guys in Highlander only a pathetic version , we can sense our own kind 😂 Jokes aside, you can do it and it’s totally worth it. My life changed for the best.
I'm enjoying being a camper more now that I am sober. Keep it up, you are an inspiration to us all

I wound up tracking this thing down and watched it. Strange people having obsessions isn't new, it's the things they obsess over that's really weird. Tiffany? I mean at least Taxi Driver was a great movie, I'll give that to Hinckley.

there's another doc called I'm your number one fan that is very trippy. a lady obsessed with a UK game show host, a guy obsessed with princess diana, and then someone else but I think that one is even more edgy and surreal than this one.

My best friend's sister took a photo of me, blew it up to poster size and put on her bedroom wall. I love that Jay did warm up for Nevermind the Buzzcocks. I bet he would've done really well as an actual guest since his music knowledge is so great.
His music knowledge is great, but EXTREMELY niche. He has written off and not remotely explored entire genres due to a longheld misconception or ignorance so he’s got vast blind spots. If we’re talking 80’s pop, hair metal, yacht rock, R&B, rap, and 90’s alt rock, post-grunge, hip-hop and 00’s nu-metal, though, then sure. He’s an expert.
