nope, as long as you connect to your descender prior to taking off your chest ascender your still on min. 2 points.(1. kroll, 2. handled ascender, 3. ASAP, 4. descender. its important to take up as much slack on the descender as possible before executing the move into descent as well as when you disconnect your kroll, that way you sit right into it versus lowering a foot or so into it. way more comfortable and your not shock loading anything.
