- Merry Christmas y'all.
A community effort to bring Dragon's gameplay to the rest of Katana Zero, a game made by Askiisoft, we bring you the Dragon Mod: The ability to play seamlessly as the titular Dragon in every level in Katana Zero, using his abilities to solve rooms, puzzles, and routes differently while also giving a unique, polished presentation. The mod includes custom animations, changed rooms, a new story, and more.
We'd like to thank the Katana Zero community again for being very supportive of our small modding scene. We've worked on this mod for sixth months of our lives; I've spent sleepless nights awake and asleep just working on art alone and Prim the same for bugfixing and implementation. Thanks for every single bit of love and support along the way.

Install video on my channel. Not to mention there will be hotfixes post-Christmas due to a few clipping/minor sprite issues. Look forward to this comment to be edited in the future notifying of any patches. Game still works functionally, but the story mode sprites are just currently a bit off.

a small bug, when talking to the therapist for the first time, the character sprite reverts back to zero when he talks about the shadows in his dreams.

Wow, this looks sweet! It would make for an interesting playthrough being able to play as Fifteen. Definitely make some of the harder stages much easier.

when i create new "patched data" it says "source file does not match file used to create patch!"
how to make it work? The visuals (launching screen game) changed but its instantly close after 5 seconds

It's sad that we got only a little bit of gameplay with him... I can just imagine how overpowered he is in the original game with the levels that weren't meant for him.

Ngl, I thought the game got easy when I played as the Dragon but holy shit when I played as Zero, I realized how easy it made the game easier for the dragon

I like how The Dragon has to kneel as he and the girl watch the scenery
I loved making that animation. Was very rewarding to finally see it in real time.

Ok, so I played it for a while and I have to say good fuckin job, it has a few bugs here and there like the occasional sprite switching from zero to fifteen and things not being there but the gameplay is smooth and works great. Communities of games can achieve amazing things with talented modders, artists and musicians and so thank you for your hard work and effort put into this mod. When I played as the dragon the first time I wanted more and here you came with this mod and now I can have limitless fun with the dragon, I honestly appreciate it, thank you.
I hope this would get the developer to consider adding new things into the game like adding modding tools or a level editor to increase the life span of the game ( or maybe that will happen if he will think of making a sequel of the game ). Thanks for making this mod.

We chose Turbo Killer for the original as well. I actually would've done Roller Mobster but it's mostly buildup.

Mod looks amazing but DAMN installing the mod is pretty much impossible with the instructions given inside the file.
I tried everything I could, but it just didn't work. Guess I'll wait to play as Fithteen when he (eventually/hopefully) gets released officially.
Sorry, do I need a Steam version for the game? When I try to start, I get a message that the application is not responding. Is there a ready-made patched game? Because something doesn’t work out for me
I tried and in the reverse order date -> mod
All is well. The patch cannot patch the GOG version of the game when I downloaded the clean 1.0.5 Steam version - it worked
I am using version 1.0.5, but the patcher throws an error when correcting that the file does not match the data in the file. Well, I thought. Now I will do everything that is written in the first step, but the archive simply does not have the dowgrade file.utp!!! No one knows what to do?

i can't get past through prison, after the police says dragon we have you surrounded the game will then cuts you outside of fu guy's prison and dragon's body won't appear and i cant do anything, his sprite won't load in studio 51 too but only on the elevators and during cutscenes his sprite will be replaced by zero instead

You have plans to make more mods? Like a Snow one?
Let's get this out of the way; This mod is unrefined and yet still took about 7 months of my life and many sleepless nights to get the animations done for, let alone for Prim to implement everything and adjust the game for it. Snow would be *possible* but you also need to wonder why it would need to be done, because of the endless work it'd require. It's not as simple as flipping sprites around. With no base moveset she'd need a whole standard set completely and utterly made from the ground up. It's a monumental work load.
If something else happens, it won't be of this similar scale. We've been looking into co-op (rather Prim is) so perhaps look for that in the future.
Still lots of bugs the biggest trouble is that some laser beams in hard mode can not be displayed :(
