Truly hate when presenters do the kid/pet thing, though I love both, but it is YT not a professional video so we can either put up w it or hopefully find another same topic vid. Why don't you have a machine to demo?
I just purchased the BQ3100. I got a really good deal, so the extras and extra $$ wasn't an issue. Will I use the laser, probably not, but the price was right for me with my trade in. But i do like the reviews. And baby was very good! And adorable. But now I'm hungry.
Thanks for the great video. I have been going back and forth. I am looking for a machine that has dual feed for sewing tricky fabrics, large throat space for quilting, advanced needle threader, automatic tension. I own the Brother NQ3600D . Because of the pandemic I purchased online. I did a ton of research first, and didn’t want to spend the money on the Altair . This has almost all the features I want but not quite so am looking for a second machine that has everything the NQ3600D does, but with the added dual feed, automatic tension, and I would love the completely automatic needle thread like the BQ3100 does. Because of health issues, even masked, I cannot go into a dealer and sew on the machines. That is my big issue. Do you have any suggestions on a machine for me? I am very honestly interested in your opinion. You definitely gave an honest review and the things you said you’d barely use like the V-Sonic pen or whatever it is called etc. I would like to purchase soon because there is only one local dealer within 250 miles of my location and they always have a huge January first sale. Thanks for any help you can give me. Again I want a machine that will thread itself , has dual feed, automatic tensions, and a large throat plate for sewing large items. Quilts, pillows, I also sew a lot of children’s clothes for my grandchildren. But with getting older, a machine that threads itself is a huge bonus. Thanks for your help. Sue
Would you be willing or able to do separate machines? From the sound of it I would look into the Janome M7, or the Juki DX-4000 as these would nicely fit your sewing needs the I’d consider adding an embroidery only that does what you need separately if possible.
Thanks for the review. I am going to look at the 3100 and 2500 today and there is a $1000 difference and personally, I agree with you that the 2 features that are on the 3100, are not worth that much money. Otherwise, they are identical machines. Cute baby too!
Did you get distracted by the eating baby?

I'm sorry, you said something? lol

Also the rotate vs side to side video edit is BRILLIANT
I had fun with that
Great review! Fun to watch while I hand quilt! Thanks for posting!
You're welcome! Thanks!
I am astounded at how you WERE NOT distracted by eating baby trying to share!! Also his head MIGHT be bigger than yours. 😂🥰😍
Lol it definitely will be!
I like your review, but it would have been more beneficial if you actually showed the machine as you reviewed the various features.
We totally agree. Trying to find a source to borrow machines from with no strings attached.
😂😂😂😂😂

I added comment and asked questions about what machine to buy but I don’t see the comment.
I saw it and just responded, hope it helps!
Toooo expensive for me
I wanted to see the machine not just the back of your baby's head. Next time, please put the baby down. Thank you.
