New sub. Good video. I see this video is 2 months old, I’d be interested to see a follow up video to see how it’s fared (if you’ve used it multiple times of course). I ordered mine yesterday from Snowys 👍
Thanks for the greta review mate. I am thinking of getting one, can you give us some feedback as to how its held up since this first use? I am also considering the Drifta Stockton fire pit but cost around $400 with the heat bead mesh which comes standard with this one. Some say the Darche style will eventually fall apart from lots of use, I have heard the welds will seperate over time. Do you think that will be the case from your experience? Cheers
Hey!, Great Review. I've had one of them for a few years now, but for the life of me, how come there are flames shooting outta the arse end of it. Mine has never done and / or achieved this! lol I'm gonna take out the cast iron grid at the bottom next time....(I think that's how you got that flame going spas like that. :) (I have the model with the holes going around the top and only 2 clips) :( Other than that i'm very happy with it and worth while the extra $$$ you initially need to lay out for it. Cheers! Mick
Thats what I like to see , a roaring inferno to cook a few burgers & snags. It will be just right to cook in an hour or so. You would need a ute load of firewood for a weekend camping.😩
Another copy of the SnowPeak. Drifta Stockton have this available under their brand as well. There is another company out in the West OZWIT I reckon doing the same design. SnowPeak comes out of Japan still I reckon. These are all Chinese copies I think. Snowpeak from memory is like $600 for a large one, but apparently it's very good.
Looks good. Got hot plate stands over embers. But that looks good an no burnt up grass. Cheers
Good day mate how is the fire pit looking now after 3 years?
Where did you get those woods? Are those oaks?
And how long that fire stays on? 2hr?
Woods just Australian red bark, burns for 4 hours or so
