They’re incredible, especially Come On Eileen and Video Killed the Radio Star. I can't believe that MTV went from that latter song being played on their channel to constantly airing reruns of Ridiculousness. My favorite one-hit wonder songs would be I Just Died in Your Arms, The Rain, and Relax.

Funny that the clip of (I Just) Died In Your Arms is the exact one where the german mondegreen "Du musst besoffen bestellen" can be heard. (You have to order while drunk)
The 70s is the only decade that can challenge the 80s and still the 80s are on top because they had so much diversity and style. There are countless great songs from 80s that many people, including myself, still haven't heard yet. 200 songs from 1986/87 alone and I all know them. I can't even name 10 songs from past 15 years. lol
God, you don't even know what to choose 82-83, 84-85, 86-87,88-89. Thank you, God, for making me live those times when we were truly free and beautiful. Times that unfortunately will never return.
In 1985 there were three completely different songs called 'The Power of Love'! - 'The Power of Love' by Frankie goes to Hollywood; 'The Power of Love' by Huey Lewis and the News; and, 'The Power of Love' by Jennifer Rush.
It just starts with a so beautiful smasher !!! (-: The opening btw :-) Bln😉 Love it to death !!! And it returned of course.😆 And then later on another gr8 one from that movie. Such fine 🎶 we've had in our teenage yrs..!!!🤪 So fantastic❤ !...still. Many fav artists of mine, many or most o' them r Brits, but not only. Wdfl mems. Also those yrs when a nu dance scene appeared and prepared 2 build up. Seems as it was just like ystrdy....😥 unbelievably, but sadly the naked truth. But i'm so happy here right now. Only Modern Talking pulls me D O W N 🤢, then and now....and i'm German ! 😂 Has NeVeR ever been my business at ALL.
It's quite good. But 2 Top Hits are definitely missing. Once A-ha "Manhattan Skyline" (LP oct. 1986, Single febr. 1987) & of course the Superhit from July 1986 "Dreamtime" by Daryl Hall

What is a shame is that we don't have high quality copies of these videos. Most of them must have been taken with film. So much has been lost to time.
Thanks for a 20 minute compilation from two of my favourite years of music. The 80's are totally tubular.
Again you provide a demonstration of what great music there was in that time. And again I find a lot of records that I bought, back then in this compilation. And again it fills me with joy and beautiful memories that I was allowed to live in that time.
I’m so glad I was a teenager in the 80’s; what a magical decade for music. Absolutely brilliant to revisit so many of them in one video, thank you 🙏
Music nowadays doesn't suck. It's just different. I don't know what it is about the 80s music that just hits a sweet spot in my brain! It doesn't matter what genre it is as long as it's from the 80s.
good point
music now just meaningless
Music of today does suck I’m sorry. The 80’s music was so good!

Incredible Songs...... 200 HITS...... And Just two years 1986-1987.....
Thank you sir for a great collection featuring one-hit wonders, two-hit wonders, and mega superstars. Forgot about T'Pau and Falco. He has such an amazing voice. Finishing off with John Farnham is the perfect ending to this collection. You're The Voice is truly an international inspirational anthem. Really appreciate all of your work. By the way, The Hooters really have some great songs.
They broke into the UK Top 30 for the first time with Satellite at the tail end of 1987.
The 80s will always be the decade for fire music with legends who have long careers or one-hit wonders.
Yes, Bobby McFerrin, Dexy's Midnight Runners and The Buggles are just a few of my favourite 80's one hit wonders.
@@kamsismith Excellent choices, shame that Cutting Crew didn't have any more hit songs, as I liked their sound.
Dexys had Geno, and The Buggles had The Plastic Age and Cutting Crew had I’ve been in love before
Also Frankie goes to Hollywood who made relax had The Power of Love and Two Tribes
I was 12 years old in 1986💖This is one is packed full of all favorites💫great job, some random guy ✌️💙🤩

This video easily has the best music on this channel
Two of the best years for music IMHO.
Super 👍👍👍👍
thanks for the video
Pleasure overload!
86-88 my favorite years of 80s music with 87 being the best
This was the time I met my wife of 40 year's her first concert was Whitesnake and Motley Crue.
The clever placement of "Lets go all the way" followed by "Lets wait a while" was not missed by me. 😉
At the 10:54 mark, get ready to rock and be ROLLED.
Greatest decade ever
Many of the artists/bands, Ive never heard of and I never knew that Don Johnson was a singer.

God, you don't even know what to choose 82-83, 84-85, 86-87,88-89. Thank you, God, for making me live those times when we were truly free and beautiful. Times that unfortunately will never return.
Sabrina was 1988.....I''ve found memories of that vid :P
I miss C.C. Catch - Strangers by night from 1986
Heart and Soul followed by Heartache - peak power pop!
I was 2/3 years old when theses songs were in the charts.
So many of these artists passed on way too soon.
10:54 Is this the live version of the Rickroll meme song? I've thought it was the music video.
Thanks for the Rick-Roll you little devil.

Belinda Carlisle....The Bangles...🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Me encanta!!!
Es war mal wieder ein Vergnügen - und ich merke, ich werde alt😢
3 songs called 'Is this love' in a single year, wtf 😂😂😂
In 1985 there were three completely different songs called 'The Power of Love'! - 'The Power of Love' by Frankie goes to Hollywood; 'The Power of Love' by Huey Lewis and the News; and, 'The Power of Love' by Jennifer Rush.
O boy 20 years old 😢
Previous one had 81 hits, but this one surpassed by 7 points!! 88 🪙 golden hits of 200! Brilliant result 👏👏👏👏! Good era...
4:55 Looks familiar..., I think former Wham!..., back up singers
10:54 is a welcome surprise

3:27 Oh that's not George Michael?
No it's not!
It's quite good. But 2 Top Hits are definitely missing. Once A-ha "Manhattan Skyline" (LP oct. 1986, Single febr. 1987) & of course the Superhit from July 1986 "Dreamtime" by Daryl Hall
About 60's Music
The word "hits" gets tossed around a lot.
I'm waiting for stranger things.
Seriously though, how could you possibly leave out the best song ever - Hysteria? But you did include Animal, so that's cool.
Argentinian rock band La Torre on the preview?
No, T'Pau.
In earlier times: You need a voise. 🙂Today: You need autotune. 🤨
I Hate I Wanna Dance With Somebody, This Song Sucks, Is Annoying As Hell & Needs To Removed From iTunes Spotify + Never Played On Radio Stations Ever Again
T Pau ❤
@Somerandomguy_music, where is the top songs in europe in 1985 video?
@TheAustinAnderson-1995 I think you meant 1995
If you mean the 'Top Songs in Europe in 1995' video: I'm planning on releasing it either next week or in 2 weeks.
