I call dibs, my 2nd fox body was an '87 GT with that red interior and my best friend had an '88 T-top. Later I was able to buy an all original '85 GT with T-tops and I loved it.

I have a white 88 with porno red that is next on the list to restore. Not many 88’s were made. Basically left over 87’s that like you said had vert doors. They are hard to find down here in the south states. I find 87’s all the time but the 88’s are extremely rare. Mine was ordered with the factory eq tape deck that is still in it. As far as the red interior goes I really like it! I buy all I find because it’s cheap and now like you said getting extremely hard to find. Good score! Looking forward to seeing more on this.
I just had a beautiful low mileage set of scarlet red sport seats shipped from Ontario to Alberta because I could not find a nice enough set and the repops aren't close enough. I always hated the red in the 90's but nowadays I am pretty much gay for a porno red interior in beautiful shape. Sand beige will always be my favorite though.

Interested in this one, being an owner of an 87 Ttop. Either you love the Ttops or hate them, they leak, they're loud... But man, they are awesome. And a lot of people didn't know the aero (87-88) mustangs came in Ttops. And I love the Porno Red tweed interior in the Fox 🔥

The mirror placement is really kool on this car I was thinking about these mirrors for my coupe. I know the old mirror space might look odd but I'm over that.
You have to save this car T tops are super cool and not only that T tops Fox bodies are even cooler Hard to find And I have to ask what is your favorite kind of car is a hatchback, notchback, convertible, T top?
Honestly man I don't blame you but I think for my personal opinion I would much rather have a 1992 Is an original red with an added black stripe 6" Cowl Hood My dad would take me to the drag strip every now and then and take me to school I miss it so much that's that's why I want to uh drive a Fox body
Well if the centerlines are 17x8 or up your good. If it had 16" centerline sabers I believe yours are. I collect wheels. 17 x10 are hard to come by, centerlines are desirable. Especially old school staggered set. Polished up and dropped 17 tho.
Now this is going to be a project car for sure.But that being said, glad to see you trying to save another foxbody, a rare 1988 T-Top GT, though not a big fan of the porno red interior, but you will make it look great.

Just convertible mirrors. Doors between t top and verts are the same.
I live in houston TX and don't think I have seen a 87 t-top stang worth the labor if it isn't rusted out if anyone can fix it Mr infamous can do it

My first foxbody was a 87 GT, white with porno red interior, 5 speed. I love that interior, ESPECIALLY on black cars.
If those windshield and door pillars aren't rotted I bet she'll be one hell of a car.
