I think the Marriott in New Orleans may have the same set up. The National Federation of the Blind is having their convention in New Orleans this year and I checked to see what the elevator system may look like. This will be a new learning experience for me.
I kinda agree. BUT THE MARRIOTT MARQUIS NEW YORK MODERNIZED THEM WITH SCHINDLER PORT!! It does have some Miconic 10 Panels on the outside, but it’s not as good at the JW Marriott in DC with the extra beeps and boops.
I have not gone back to see the updated cabs on these elevators. I’ll have to check it out again. But I did film them before the cabs were updated

The elevators stays open for a few seconds, because when it’s in Handicap mode, it’s open extended time for accessibility for disabled people.
