You guys did probably the one of the most well filmed amateur documentary drives around Australia I've ever seen, and I'm old enough to be your dad! It was entertaining, educational, humorous and respectful all in one and your family should be proud. So pleased Mazda Australia came to the party!
I noticed from the get-go their excellent production skills, way in front of anything else I'd seen from amateurs. Plus they are such a sweet, wholesome, entertaining couple. :)
Smart move by Mazda because i actually paid more attention to your viewing of the BT5O than i ever have on one of their ads. Safe travels and Best wishes to you both. Love your Australian series the most!
As Aussies currently abroad, thank you for coming back, as your last series truly showed Australia for what it is, and we cannot wait for this next series! 🥳🥳🥳
Great to see Mazda making a smart choice in supporting you both here! Now if Tourism Australia had half a brain they'd also turn your journey into a huge tourism campaign for Australia! Looking forward to seeing more of your journey :)
Nice to see Mazda step up and help you guys out. You obviously budget very closely so I'm sure it's welcome. And it couldn't happen to a nicer couple. ❤
Welcome back Tia & Cheveyo! Thanks to Mazda Australia for jumping on board. From a loyal Mazda owner who has only ever owned Mazda's (34+ years) I'm glad that's you are sponsoring them. It promises to be another epic journey. As for a name for the BT-50, what about the one that was given to my MX-5 that I owned for 11 years - Hi-Ho Silver. Looking forward to the new adventure. Safe and Happy travels. Cheers, Stef
Well done, Mazda! Tia and Cheveyo are adopted national treasures here in Australia. Can't wait to see your next adventure. I hope you'll be seeing more of Australia's "big" things this time. It was hilarious when you did last trip.
@@SandraBlazinic Yeah, a CX-5 would have been better for that job. The back seats folded down, one can sleep fully stretched out and still being within the car. The fuel economy in a CX-5 is much better.

I have never been more excited to watch a RUclips video. I live in Perth and Tia and Cheveyo even went to my favourite lunch place (Golden Bakery) for their first pies in Perth. Thank you, Mazda Australia - the perfect vehicle to tackle this outback road trip. Stand by Tasmania. ❤❤
Hi Tia and Chev, Great to see you back, we have watched most of the channel and love what you do. Make sure you do the Gibb River Road up north. P.S. We were the one's that set the article on Blueberry. Looking forward to your trip. Helen and Fred
Love the Gibb River Road but if you are on your own you need to take good communication device or an EPIRB, and make sure you lower your tyre pressure in the dirt. Had a few flat tyres on that road.

Hi Tia & Cheveyo Fantastic news & so well-deserved re the vehicle. The trip sounds amazing. Just wondering if you have thought about going through Echuca on your way down to Melbourne - it's an old paddle steamer town on the Murray River. That whole area is beautiful; there are working paddle steamers & the river height variation during the year is huge as the melting snow makes it's way down there in spring. There was a great mini series made (in about the 80's I think), about the river trade, called "All the rivers run". Cheers Safe & happy travels 😊
One of the main things I like about your videos is that its always so genuine! Loving how geeked out Cheveyo is explaining about the car and how Tia's Japanese side kicked in when she bowed down saying thank you over the phone. Wishing you guys a great trip!!
Woo hoo! Yeehar! Congratulations. As soon as I saw the visual clues on your Instagram account I knew this would be the outcome! Well done! Good on you Mazda Australia! So looking forward to this journey.
Welcome back Tia & Cheveyo!! Shout out to Mazda Australia for the fantastic car (so well deserved by you two by having such an amazing trip with Blueberry!) Love you guys so much! Lots of people suggesting “girlie” names for your Ute - but I really think this one has a very masculine energy. (Thoughts?) I feel like Bruce would suit the BT quite well - this name has a very Aussie flavour to it. Travel safe and am so looking forward to all your gorgeous videos. ❤❤❤
Welcome back guys!!!!, so happy to see you’re here again. We love the respect and enthusiasm you show for our beautiful country, stay safe and enjoy your new adventures
Would be pretty wild if you both did an Australian Indian Ocean tour afterwards (Christmas + Cocos (Keeling) Islands). The flights can get a bit costly, but since very few travel RUclipsrs have actually been there, I reckon it could be a boost for views? Either way, welcome back!
Hey guys, you can call it a truck if you want. Some of us call ‘em trucks too. It doesn’t really matter, just enjoy the trip this time! I saw your video of ANZAC Day in Melbourne (where I live) and after that I went back to the start and followed you all the way. Definitely the best 'Americans touring OZ' video series I’ve seen. Welcome back! Oh, you can TRY camping when you’re in the bottom half, but I wouldn’t! I grew up in NZ and my wife is Canadian and although we’re not wimps about the cold, neither of us would go camping in June! It would be nice to catch up when you come through Melbourne (if you want). We live at the entrance to the Yarra Valley, not far from the AWESOME Healesville Sanctuary, which is all native fauna. (Tia will no doubt look it up) Stay safe kids!
Welcome back to Australia. I bought a Mazda 3 two years ago, new, on my retirement. I was 72 at the time, and this is the third Mazda I've owned. They're easy to drive, economical and last forever. If you haven't already bought one, get one of those single burner, self igniting butane stoves which take disposable fuel cylinders. They are usually $25 to $35 AUS. in supermarkets, camping suppliers or Bunnings, (what don't Bunnings sell?). Have fun.
How about Twoberry as a name? Hope you have just as much fun (and more success!) on your road trip this time. We're biased Australians - so very glad you're back to enjoy Australia again and see the parts you didn't get to last time. Maybe you'll get to see the Mallacoota corner too? Looking forward to every video! (We love seeing the logistical side too)
Welcome back guys! Your in your second home and heading to Tassie this time! I'm so happy for you. Driving up the west coast, I hope you get to stop at Broome and check out Cable Beach - it's an experience. If you're not crunched for time , do a bit more exploration along the way as parts of inland Victoria are quite amazing. The only bad news I have is that you're going to find that things are more expensive in Oz compared to your last trip. All the very best in your new car( Blimey! Well done Mazda Australia - that's amazing!) and have a great time. Hugs.
Yay!! If you're coming back near Adelaide, there's a "big" thing you missed last time, the Big Rocking Horse in Gumeracha (about 45 mins from the city). Safe travels guys 😍
Swanny! 1) The number plate is “cyg”, a cygnet is a baby swan, cygnus is the genus name. 2) This is the “swan song” to wrap-up your big circle trip. 3) You landed in Perth, on the mighty Swan River, the WA flag has a swan on it too! 4) Blueberry was a fruit, Ruby was a gem, Swanny is a bird. Good variety there. 5) If you put two Swans beak-to-beak it makes a love heart. Lol. 6) The classic black swan is mainly found in the SW and SE of Aus. The start and finish of this trip! Then again…BT-Barry is pretty awesome. Good luck, soak up the WA coast, recommend a visit to Shell Beach, 80 Mile Beach, Exmouth and Broome of course. And as many National Parks as you can. Mind the salty crocs, they’ll eat you 🐊
I'm an Australian living in Oregon USA. Loved your first Aussie series, made me homesick. Wish you would do between Sydney and Noosa Qld. I used to surf up and down that coast when I was younger. Crescent Heads, Byron Bay and Noosa.
I'd second that - if there's any time left after Tassie Melbourne to Southeast Queensland via the coast, as slowly as time allows, would be spectacular.
Glad you're back in Australia. But you need to come back to Sydney and see the Blue Mountains. You can't miss such an iconic part of Australia! Name suggestion for the ute: Luna - because she's shiny like the moon!
Wow... they gave you a vehicle. That's great to hear. I own 2 Mazdas and they are great cars to drive. I look forward to the upcoming adventure videos from this trip
Please don't miss Karijini, it is a long detour off the coast but a great place to see. We went Exmouth to Karijini via Millstream (took the mining roads with a permit). Two or three nights in Karijini to hike all the gorges. Then Karijini to Port Hedland to get back to the coast.
Small world - I've just noticed that you were staying around the corner from where I live in Nedlands (19:00). I'm just looking back at some of your older videos now - really enjoyable watching you guys travel and having fun.
Great marketing idea by Mazda. Glad to see you both back. It is a tray. Good time to be here if your up north, but going to be cold when you come south. Rug up with the winter clothing
Welcome back to Australia. Yay Mazda!! How amazing they loaned you a Ute. Have a safe trip! Looking forward to watching your Aussie adventure again! Hope you stay at Monkey Mia and get to see the dolphins and turtles.
Tia & Cheveyo have also done an article about 'Blueberry' on the Mazda AU website if you haven't seen it. It is logical for Mazda to do some easy advertising here! And of a course, although we loved 'Blueberry', a more suitable car for the Outback. Also don't worry, I like that new car, pristine clean engine look too!
Hey guys. Welcome back to Oz. I know you've had plenty of names suggested, but my pick for the B (t50) UTE is BEAUTY (B-Ute-Y) And she's a beauty mate. Cheers.
Hope you get to check out the Flinders Rangers this time, especially Wilpena Pound and Brachina Gorge. Looks like you’ll be driving close by before you hit Adelaide.
So good to have you guys back here & welcome home! Good on Mazda for supplying you with a vehicle. Maybe they can get you to do a TV commercial for them? 😀 They couldn't get a better suited couple.

There was a great mini series made (in about the 80's I think), about the river trade, called "All the rivers run".
Cheers
Safe & happy travels 😊
Finally something worth watching again... You have been in Australia enough now to use the Metric system more. Great to see you back...
Highly recommend checking out the Flinders Ranges as you pass your way through South Australia!
Props to Mazda! This trip is going to be epic.
It's great to see Mazda help out the way they have. Make sure you give them a big thank you on every video.
Cool idea
better than maldives by far
Christmas Island ? No way. That is a Commonwealth Detention Centre, reserved for deportation cases. Tia could ... NAAAAAH.
Great work Mazda, well done. Cheers john
So glad to see you back & well done Mazda! ❤
Congrats on the sponsorship! You really deserve it! There gonna be more for sure!
Hugs.
Carry 20 litres of water for radiator and 20 litres of drinking water minimum spare, just in case
12:55 Those hats on the wall were screaming "Take me! Take me! 🙃
Yay!! If you're coming back near Adelaide, there's a "big" thing you missed last time, the Big Rocking Horse in Gumeracha (about 45 mins from the city). Safe travels guys 😍
Awesome, you're back in Oz! Have a great trip. Great that you're doing Tassie this time. You can't miss that, it's beautiful
Yahoooo. You have bought the happy smile back to me dial. Love Wally. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
You need a cover for the tray.... awesome Ute, so glad you guys are back
Glad you're back in Australia. But you need to come back to Sydney and see the Blue Mountains. You can't miss such an iconic part of Australia!
Name suggestion for the ute: Luna - because she's shiny like the moon!
I agree - The Blue Mountains is a must if you can do it - lots of picturesque hiking trails!
We’re going to try hard to work the Blue Mountains into this trip 😊
@@OnePackWanderers I hope you get there via the NSW far south coast. It's so overlooked but really a beautiful part of the world.
Good to see you back! Please make sure you take a LOT of water through the red centre. Like a 20L jerry can of water.
Wow... they gave you a vehicle. That's great to hear. I own 2 Mazdas and they are great cars to drive. I look forward to the upcoming adventure videos from this trip
Great teamup with Mazda, this is the content creator and sponsor type of deal that's refreshing to see.
Good stuff Mazda hopefully she gives you a nice and comfortable ride as for a name.. how about.... Betsie??
Please don't miss Karijini, it is a long detour off the coast but a great place to see. We went Exmouth to Karijini via Millstream (took the mining roads with a permit). Two or three nights in Karijini to hike all the gorges. Then Karijini to Port Hedland to get back to the coast.
Welcome home ❤🇦🇺
Name for the Mazda BT UTE, maybe "Pheonix" as reborn to do the big trip again, properly.
I like this name. I vote for this one.
Love it!
I guess Phoenix would also be like taking a bit of their home state of Arizona with them too!
Tip, we just say Maz dah (not mahz dah). No napping on the back seat while it's moving Tia haha, not allowed! Good on #Mazda Australia for this, what a great thing to happen for you guys! Happy travels!
@Mazda!
Best decision you have made! @onepackwanders are wonderful, wonderful people and the community they have built here on YT are loyal followers with years spent watching them traveling here there and everywhere! We won’t forget the kindness you (Mazda and Australia) have extended to our fellow American 🇺🇸 travelers exploring your country on a shoe string budget and happy while doing it at that!
Thank you @Mazda!
🤙🏽
