@@PropiaRealidad But the point is he's still able to tame and convince these dangerous individuals to hold annual tea parties instead of targeting him. There must be a reason why they target him.

@@poggerman9661 Well when you look at Venti's quote and just how prepared the witches were to take over Teyvat would you really think otherwise. The witches have been stated to be unbelievably terrifying by what are already classified as monsters in Teyvat.
I mean Alice didn't lie. She never claimed they were innocent, nor did she say they were peaceful. The group was initially created to fight Venti after all.
Given how they quickly decided to go for tea Parties instead after Venti suggestion that it was better than war. I think the entire group was made for shits and giggles and there first order of business was to challenge a god.
nah. no reason to think that's how they formed. it's possible they just thought of challenging the anemo archon one day. and challenging might just be a friendly chanllenge. but they definitely have a morally gray twist to them as they seem to be inspired from the witches of re zero.
@@Dubs22005 I see very little of the Re:Zero connection other than it being a group of witches who drink tea. Like I said even discounting them wanting to fight Venti, Alice never claims any of them to be particularly peaceful or innocent. They thought they could fight a god so it stands to reason they do whatever the hell they want.
They were created as a contingency plan. Just in case venti/barbatos becomes a dictator like the previous anemo archon decarribian. That ruled the land of the storm winds before mondstadt was made. . . . . . . Crazy theory of mine. Amos(decarrabian's lover) is probably the ancestor of Amy(fischl) because if you watch the archon quest cutscenes. You can clearly see Amos with her bow and having a canny silhouette like fischl does.
I mean technically Alice never said they were innocent she just said the group was a way for them to relax and put aside their differences regardless of their nations being at war or not Edit: is this the point i get to say 'mom i am famous' or nah?
Don’t forget, Alice is the one who did those messed-up experiments on hilichurls like launching them across Mondstadt and strapping them to Ruin Guards. She also wanted to make a generator powered by enslaved hilichurls, even grinding up the old and sick ones to feed to the healthy stronger ones to make it run perpetually. Remember, the same hilichurls that are Khaenri’ahns cursed to transform by Cesletia, including many innocent children? I mean, she sounds nice talking to Klee and Albedo, but clearly she’s operating on an entirely inhuman moral spectrum and on radically alien mental wavelengths. When the chips are down and the balloon goes up, I just hope she’s on our side… 😬
Um, are we sure there isn't like, a seventh member? Does anyone remember skirk? She's apparently still human to a degree and literally lives in the abyss with no consequences. Childe doesn't even believe he'll ever be able to beat her and he's one of the most ambitious people in the whole game!

Apparently people are saying there are 8 members. I only saw 7 chairs and didn't understand where they got the information from. People speculate they're members of the 8 nations.

The Boar Princess is honestly a bit of a disturbing book too. I reread it recently but didn’t really find myself drawing any connections, so I’m not sure if it hides a true story yet.
My take is that it's about Barbatos(the Boar Princess) killing Decarabian(the turtle hiding in his shell) and another god (the fox, possibly related to "The Fox in the Dandelion Sea"), who may have been Irminsul retconned, by conspiring with Andrius(the cursed wolf pup).

Maybe it was simply the events of Istaroth's death that were erased? Or maybe it's something else entirely, some god based entirely in Mondstadt that riled up the Heavenly Principles enough to be erased by an Archon halfway across the continent...

Might turn out that it wasn't intentional or something but we'll have to wait and see. Also it's weird how Nicole can sense changes i the irminsul, she might be a descender herself. In the quests theyre described as powerful witches who was thought to control the fate of the world. I don't think they're necessarily evil but they absolutely are very suspicious and had something to do with most major events we know of.
Rhinedottor isn't fully responsible for the cataclysm nor khaeriah destruction. It's actually the rulers of khaenriah and asshole phanes. The rulers of khaeriah were doing something that the celestial thrones aka mf phanes didn't approve of. So he just ditched nails on them and probably ordered the sustainer to curse them. Phanes is responsible for every tragedy and destruction in tevyat. Hell, he's also responsible for creating the concept of the archon war. He's also the reason why orobashi died when he didn't do anything and just tried to protect the enkanomiyans. Thus it resulted in orobashi offering up his life to celestia and indirectly killing himself in the hands of ei. Who knows, bitch may also be responsible makoto ang guizong death. (Sauce : flowers of paradise lost artifact set tells us it's actually phanes who kept dropping all those nails)

Alice is far more sociopathic than you let her appear! She's like a natural disaster on two legs! She might not even intend harm, but cause massive collateral for some project that wasn't even that important in the first place...
honestly i thought it was nice that they brought up the concept of assisted death. it's something we need to discuss in society. a lot of people don't want to just suffer to death and have no recourse. hoping for a miracle while losing who you are as a person before you die sounds awful, so choosing that time and being surrounded by family, deciding your last day, can be beyond healing for some people. ofc we don't know if she had consent from the guy, but for terminal patients, this is a big debate and something people would prefer to be able to consider.
Lol, Alice isn’t a liar. She said it herself: she’s one who never lies. Jokes aside, she never said they were innocent. To her, they really are just tea party friends. The fact that she even had to learn what grief was from a book goes to show she may be pretty emotionally detached, and as such probably doesn’t understand or care what atrocities the others have done. She doesn’t “feel” anything from it.
"Group of teaparty witches" The tea parties "why don't we start a war between gods that will change the trajectory of Teyvat drastically. Ya know, or we could just kill an archon."
Here’s a list of some of Alice’s….”notable achievements”, for those who haven’t heard of them. - She gave a member of The Millelith a potion that causes him to imitate everything he hears, and considers the effects to be “minor”. - She blew up parts of Stormterror’s lair because she though they didn’t look “ruin-like” enough. - She made a young Yae Miko cry (probably explains where she gets her meanness from lmao). When she met her again as an adult, the two of them got drunk together. - She considered kidnapping Yoimiya - She canonically travelled to our universe, and all she brought back was knowledge of copyright’s existence and a glider themed around KFC. - She suggested that in order to power Mondstadt’s windmills, they should force Hilichurls to run around in a hamster wheel, and grind the weaker ones into meat to feed the strong. - She thought about blowing up Starsnatch Cliff, and tried to drain the water from an underground reservoir so that Jueyun Karst would go “back on the ocean floor where it belongs. (Zhongli was with her at the time btw.) - She (somehow?!) got trapped in a bottle and was freed by Dori, hence their close connections. - She tried to adopt Diluc one time. - She taught Barbara about idols after traveling to Earth, and plans to have her become a part of a Teyvat-wide idol group. She tried to convince Ayaka to join this group and only gave up after being turned down six times. - She practiced wind gliding by FUCKING SLAUGHTERING an Anemo Slime, and was put in detention by Jean for ten days because of it. - When she learned about how Vennessa ascended to Celestia, she tried to launch Hilichurls into the sky while at Windrise, hoping they would reach the heavens as well. - She tried to use a Hilichurl to control Ruin Guards. Needless to say both of them died in an event to gory for even her to describe. - She called Xiao a weirdo. - At one point she made a seashell necklace which a fisherman sat on. The necklace was so sharp that she had to pay his medical bills. She also tried to make a motorboat out of a massive seashell, which to no one’s surprise, blew up. - She blew up a bunch of medicine in The Imperial Kitchen, which fatally injured Kujou Sara. When The Shogun found out, Alice was appalled when a simple apology did not relieve her of all charges. - She dismantled The Mikage Furnace for shits and giggles, wondering if the Fontanian mechanics who built it would “be surprised”. She was fully aware of the potential disaster that her actions could cause. - She attempted to catch the cat at Asase shrine in a cage. - She is probably omnipotent and can seemingly resist the tampering of Irminsul. In conclusion, Alice is so sane and normal. -
Alice did not say they are an innocent group of women or mages. She admitted that they once challenged Barbatos, but he appeased them and led them to be friends. They are plenty capable of overturning Teyvat. They just chose peace, and never to fight amongst themselves.
"Go unto a lovely place, and display your own beauty there with pride." Rhinedottir didn't create monstrosities, even Durin was not evil based from his memories. Durin said that he wanted to tell the people of how lovely the place where he was created.
Thank you! I've been saying this from the beginning. Gold was not a good person, and Alice thinks nothing of hanging with her. If the others tolerate Gold, that tells me a lot about them.
I don't think Nicole is aware what changes occurs in irmensul or in teyvat specifically.... when she speaks in our head during the quest she doesn't specify or elaborate the changes that occurred she just makes it aware that she knows a change has occurred in the world prolly with similar help of allegory (personal opinion)
At this point the only person i trust is Paimon. Everyone else could betray us. Paimon is the only one who probably wont in some way... Even our twin could end up being the evil of Tevat
Interesting...I keep thinking Paimon is going to end up being bad news and was sent to follow the Traveler to report back to whoever is really in charge.
When I completed this quest, i was shocked since this had almost nothing to do with the lore of genshin so far so I have a feeling them witches will be much more powerful on the future.
And since we now have the imaginariam theater and the 4.8 main event which are both related to hexenzirkel. And normally when Hoyo leaning towards something, its gonna mean something important in the future.
Anesdotter's book is most likely the same book Lisa read that gave her short life. We know that the book contains important information that should not be tampered with or even read upon, as it contains forbidden knowledge - and this is why Lisa's life is cut short. The book cover itself also has a purple rose, just like Lisa's motif.
I think some of them were implied to be Descenders, and Alice has mentioned going into other worlds. One of them remembering how Irminsul was changed probably wouldn’t be surprising given The Traveler’s memory of how Irminsul was also tampered
I think Alice's way of telling the truth is similar to the traditional fae: you take them exactly at their word. You make no assumptions. In which case, she did not lie.
I'm gonna confidently say you overthought this hard. Alice may not be wrong because we are hearing it from her perspective. There will be clear bias yes but until then the only one to really question is Rhinedotter.
All of our interactions with them are somehow connected to either preserving data outside irminsul, creation of fake imaginary worlds or tampering with fate itself.
i feel like hexenzirkel is way too powerful. Maybe they are compareable or stronger than the Harbingers & their top 3 ?. I mean they even challenge Barbatos tho.
I mean they very well could be since between them they potentially have powers to access irminsul, abyssal alchemy astrology and space god knows what else the others can do
This is giving me Re:Zero flashbacks... Immortal MC, helpful side characters, that one other main character who's particularly the antagonist but also the protagonist's reason for being there... From another world? What can I say?
That's...still pretty chill by Genshin standards. I mean, half of Teyvat has done something wicked to Irmensol or destroyed Khanrieah in some way at this point. I'm still keeping a close eye on Timmie.
Alice wrote the “Teyvat Travel Guide”. Was confirmed as the author during the Irodori Festival event in Inazuma. I wonder exactly what all has been changed in Teyvat since then 🤔
I think the Hexencircle will either be A. End up helping you take down the unknown god, or B. Either Worship or even represent the Unknown god. Tho now, let's look at the name, Hexencircle. Hexen is german for witches, showing that Alice is the one who came up with the name as she is from Mondstadt, aka Teyvat germany, but what are witches mostly knwon for? For causing chaos. So my strong guess, the Hexencircle will become the final gauntlet past Schneznaya, as we will have to defeat the group we previously saw as allies
So for Descenders, we have: Traveller, (hypothesized) heavenly principles, primordial one. From the Witches party, Nicole can sense changes, but might still be affected so iffy on her. Alice literally travels to different worlds and isn’t affected by Irminsul so she’s definitely one of the 4 accounted for descenders. Also “Alice in Wonderland” literally fell into another world, definitely an allegory for Alice falling into Teyvat. Though Nahida said we were the fourth not that there was only 4, and there might have been another between the 500 years we arrived and woke up so Nicole might still be a descender. Rhinedottir, I’m not quite sure since she’s the flower out of this world. Also, the roster is quite powerful, just wanted to say that. Alice, the world traveller, Barbe-something who can see the future, Rhinedottir who created creatures who can destroy countries like Albedo and Durin and armies of monsters that wreaked havoc like the Riftwolves and unintentional Golden Wolflords, Nicole who can sense changes to Irminsul and is a powerful guide, Skirk who lives in the abyss and is powerful enough that Childe can’t imagine fighting her despite being brave enough to try to fight and control literal gods plus wanting to stand toe to toe with Harbingers who can fight gods plus Capitano the strongest mortal, and Author lady(definitely powerful but don’t know what she does). If they actually fought and combined their might, Teyvat would fall, no doubt. Rhinedottir for armies and manpower, Barbelo something for divining the future for strategy and countering other diviners, Nicole for scouting out the Irminsul trump card usage and guiding, Skirk for fighting gods and powerhouses, and Alice as the wealth of knowledge on anything like otherworldly weaponry or monsters and so on.
We know that Andersdotter wrote “The Boar Princess”, but what if she also wrote “The Pale Princess and the Six Pygmies”? We know from Lisa’s story quest that the Abyss Order wanted it because of the book’s supposed secret, but we never found out what the secret was or why it’s so important to them.
Considering the events that happened in Simulanka I think we will meet Rhinedottir when Durin is rising again, because he IS regenerating slowly but surely. So let's hope Mini Durin and Wanderer can reason with him, otherwise we should pray that Dvalin recovered enough to survive their next meeting.
Am I the only one who suspects Lisa to be Alice? If u remember the event where Lisa got her skin, we can see how old frieds of her call her Alice. Also Alice's voice to me sounds just like Lisa's. In the summer skin event Lisa gave the party a gift to only be open once they get to the sectret location, and the gift contained the summer outfits.Still we know that Alice was the one that organized that secret adventure for the party, but Lisa knew exactly what clothes should they wear once they've got there. Also Lisa is never present when Alice voice can be heard, even tho she would be a good addition since she always plays a part in those events. Is it sus or not? 🤔
Hey there Kettletoro, something just occurred to me and I wanted to get your opinion on it. Okay, hear me out....do characters age in Genshin? The reason I ask is because...well, we see when it's a character's birthday, they send us gifts (oddly enough) through the mail. And Genshin seems like it'll have a long shelf life. They just realized i was chill like that
He didn't sidestep it. He convinced them to have tea parties instead as that's better than war. 😂
Alice also made Morax her tour guide. I'd assume the witches are some of if not the most powerful beings in Teyvat right now. The only known 3rd party that had been comparable is Skirk the abyss walker.
@@IveBeenWithBruma Did she make him or did he agree to it? Are they more powerful than the Archons?
@@poggerman9661 Well when you look at Venti's quote and just how prepared the witches were to take over Teyvat would you really think otherwise. The witches have been stated to be unbelievably terrifying by what are already classified as monsters in Teyvat.

@@Dubs22005 I see very little of the Re:Zero connection other than it being a group of witches who drink tea. Nicole is the one talking to us at the end of Scaradook's archon quest (headcannon not cannon)
Who knows, bitch may also be responsible makoto ang guizong death.

honestly i thought it was nice that they brought up the concept of assisted death. it's something we need to discuss in society. a lot of people don't want to just suffer to death and have no recourse. hoping for a miracle while losing who you are as a person before you die sounds awful, so choosing that time and being surrounded by family, deciding your last day, can be beyond healing for some people. ofc we don't know if she had consent from the guy, but for terminal patients, this is a big debate and something people would prefer to be able to consider.

*Memorized everything that happened in Re:Zero*
Everyone gangster untill albedo and dainsleif have interactions in one quest 💀
Here’s a list of some of Alice’s….”notable achievements”, for those who haven’t heard of them.
- She gave a member of The Millelith a potion that causes him to imitate everything he hears, and considers the effects to be “minor”.
- She blew up parts of Stormterror’s lair because she though they didn’t look “ruin-like” enough.
- She made a young Yae Miko cry (probably explains where she gets her meanness from lmao). When she met her again as an adult, the two of them got drunk together.
- She considered kidnapping Yoimiya
- She canonically travelled to our universe, and all she brought back was knowledge of copyright’s existence and a glider themed around KFC.
(Zhongli was with her at the time btw.)
- She (somehow?!) got trapped in a bottle and was freed by Dori, hence their close connections.
-
Ayo I dint know most of these

Alice did not say they are an innocent group of women or mages. She admitted that they once challenged Barbatos, but he appeased them and led them to be friends. They are plenty capable of overturning Teyvat. They just chose peace, and never to fight amongst themselves.
"Go unto a lovely place, and display your own beauty there with pride."
Rhinedottir didn't create monstrosities, even Durin was not evil based from his memories. Durin said that he wanted to tell the people of how lovely the place where he was created.
what i'm happy about mihoyo is that they chose to introduce the *powerful* female mages on women's month.
The biggest surprise was Gold being part of the group. And the fact that she also is still is alive is crazy.
Probably this is the next chapter when Teyvat story is done. The world beyond Teyvat.

There is one theory that one of them is Diluc's mother, like man how dope is that be when it' true

Fear us traveler
As soon as they said something to the effect of "we reunite in secret for the betterment of teyvat" my alarms were raised
And the only thing stopping them is what? Celestia? Abyss? Other powerful beings? bro my brain is melting with these possibilities

The reason I ask is because...well, we see when it's a character's birthday, they send us gifts (oddly enough) through the mail. And Genshin seems like it'll have a long shelf life. Will we see younger characters grow into adults? Will we see characters like Diona and Klee grow into teenagers? I somehow doubt Mihoyo has thought that far ahead.
And this massive lore bomb of an event makes future players scratching their heads.
Oh my goodness I thought they were just a cool chill group were they drink tea.
Now this sounds interesting..
