Thanks for your video, very useful. Would be great if you could also make a video on best broadband/wifi providers for fast and strong internet connection.
@@KaalKurayami Often, the housing companies who manage the building, has a deal with one of the internet companies which means you can get a decent internet (10-50MB) internet for free, and faster speeds with a small fee. You don't need to make any comparisons. Your landlord will tell you more.
We have used Vattenfall and Caruna for years and went from contracted pricing to spot pricing and have saved some money. We can monitor the price and use power accordingly.
UPDATE: Getting an electricity contract before arriving in Finland If you want to secure a contract before arriving in Finland, contact my partner, Matias Malinen. He can get you a contract even if you don't have online banking or a personal identity code. I recommend getting a pörssisähkö contract. Mention my name (Aleksi Himself or Aleksi Linna) when contacting Matias. If you do, I will get a small commission with no extra cost for you if you get a contract. :) You can reach him at: Matias Malinen matias@myyntiboosti.fi +35844 045 9232
HIi , sir . I would move to finland in the future to study about finance at UOF or Aalto . What job should i look for about finance , and is it too difficult to look for😢?
Hi! Thank you for this informative video. When I move to Finland as a new student, I wont have a social security number right away. Is it possible to make an electricity contract without one?
By law should be possible. Try calling their customer service. Also, you can request a personal identity code in advance here: lomakkeet.dvv.fi/lomakkeet/wuY0J/lomake.html?rinnakkaislomake=en
Ya forgot the electricity transfer costs. People need to be careful about those as well. SavonVoima for example. 200€ bill for just transferring the current to your home.
@@AleksiHimself Yeah. My hasty butt started typing before the end. But indeed. You live in SavonVoima territory and no matter which company ya got the contract with, it is around 150€-200€ with SavonVoima transfer.
It'll be really nice that any English or Finnish or Swedish RUclipsr or Instagram personality, would truthfully report about those two terrorist attacks that happened in Oulu. 😮

what if you have a Vocational Edication in Electricete field?
Does this apply to newly rented apartments?
Yes unless the landlord provides the electricity which is rare.
