This clearly shows if Pakistani music especially Gazals if back in the days of the great artists were alive it was easily available like they are now Indians would had listened and mesmerized by them more then the cheap Indian songs
Anoop Sir happened to be one of very favorite vocalists of my late mother. Long ago, when she heard AANKHOUN SAY PI RUT MASTANI HO GAIE. She really got amazed and abruptly questioned : Who is singer ? He is wonderful. The voice was so very striking for her. I always love to listen to this legendary singer. Just too wholesome and Guru for many aspiring singers.

Dare to try such composition but well try!! In one word awesome.. you need great sense to understand Gazal and an excellent voice. Hats off to both musicians for playing almost to the level!!
Tum jaisse jihadio ko ye lagta hai ki mehndi hasan ka gazal koi nhi gaa sakta..to tumko ye bta du ki anoop jalota v kisi se kam bade singer nhi hai..jo tu decide karega ki well try..jisko music ka abcd v nhi aata ho

I wish you knew the abc of music - you really have guts to compare Mehdi sahib with Anup jalota sahib .he is just a student in front of Mehdi sahib-go and ask someone who knows music would tell you what I am talking about.
Beta ye simple baat nahi hai .apne apne zarf ki baat hai . Ghazal chhodo ek sa lagaa doge jis din unki kashish se ban jaoge. Jinka naam mehdi hassan hai.
mehdi hassan was pure classical singer is not only pakistan but also all over the world.really versatile and hard working singer.
Anup Jalota is versatile singer with a melodious voice.My favourite.Singer.
