Make your metal tools. Gathering time is soooo quick. 5-6 hits on tree instead of 14-16. And I think more mats from trees and stones too. :) Put up ice fence, as seems they cannot move into the area. If you eat cooked meat next to your tame while looking at it, it heals the tame as well as you. Also found out 2 things about the totem (Thanks for finding it I tried forever to figure out how to repair) The totem can't be in outside and it takes damage when the structures take damage. Be sure to repair it after an attack. Trick for digging snow... stand in one spot look down dig 3 times collect and continuously hold the dig button. You can mine the same spot over and over...no running around!
ice palisades with spikes are good for surrounding your house. But regular fences should probably be ok too, since they can't jump over. And by throwing food on your hotbar, and eating while pointing at your pet, they also heal
Saw your first two vids and tried the game, love it. some tips, Upgrade building with hammer, ice/wood/stone. put a fence around building, enemies will stop to attack fence and you can just kill from distance (or use spiked fence). dont bother fishing, too long and not worth in the end. (get more meat off animal attacks and hunting). get rifle and buy ammo from trader. dig with shovel in snow - do it three times and collect snow sand clay iron gold etc - sell sand and clay to trader. (will use later for farm patch so sell before u decide to farm). easier to get ice from ice packs, ice tray has to have snow to water to ice so long time. wild animals will attack your furnace/fire first so i used igloo with spare ones in and used them to attract them and then shot them from afar. ride your pet and look about for a nice collection of boulders and just mine mine mine, same with the dead trees, seem to get more wood from them. metal axe best for wood for now. backpack increases inventory slots. (hoping they add clothes soon).bed will be spawn point but also will let you sleep through night after a certain time. stay indoors for blizzard etc. not done the bombs traps greenhouses yet but having fun still. keep up the good work and dont freeze to death lol.
The stairs issue is why I usually use something to disable collision when I build in modern games. Too many ridiculous limitations that are unnecessary.

realistically you don't want too many windows if any in a situation like this due to heat loss and have higher ceilings with the furnaces inside like that (at least where they happen to be set up) to prevent them from melting/burning the ceiling/roof
Did play it some and I did not enjoy the game that much. To difficult to even get a game started. As soon as I had my basic base down I got attacked and lost what I built. For a free to play game it is actually pretty packed with features and it can only get better if the developers did some work on the balancing of enemies and so on. Will take a look at this game again in the future for sure.

The devs really have to fix that "unride" issue. It's stupid that you can't dismount, *just* because you're in or near a building. As Ironbar said to Master (in "Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome.") ... "Fix.....It!" I note that the actual Yeti attack didn't occur until 2/3 of the way through this video. ... For the record, Your Honor. It's strange how you can have sources of fire / heat *inside* an ice house or igloo...and not destroy the home. 🤔
You've basically seen everything kage. . This game is rust like building and that's it. I believe it's meant to be a pvp game when it's finished. It's wildly unbalanced. The traders are all the same. You don't even have recipes for all the items. You can dig and sell all the clay you get for cash. The guns are mediocre at best.

When you get the enemies health low, use another weapon like the ice sword, so u can tame them. You can tame all enemies
