Hi Shloka most probably its because of heat . If you have kept this near window pane then shift from there. Water when top soil is dry and water it thoroughly when you do

Top soil has been turning dry very often and sooner than expected as I might be watering in less quantity and frequently. Now I shall do as you say, water ample but less often. Also drainage is good. Today I watered enough and excess water drained out.

Hi Gurjant . It is a slow growing plant . Put some liquid fertilizer (soaked dried cow dung manure) in Sep and Feb and try to avoid too mush water. Needs Sunlight. Hope it helps
