In the gallery, when you select a pair of photos, the compare option appears at the bottom. In the photo editing, there is an option to straighten the building. The push notification icons on the top bar are colorful. The appearance of the notifications when we pull the bar from the left side looks different, they are more streamlined. Spotify on the Locked Screen looks different and a little more that I forgot 👌

Hi bro i'm huawei user my mobile is old so that i have official googl services so my question is here does it worth to change to a huawei that hasn't google services. I prefer Huawei on other Android phones because of the EMUI.

@@mfanelonkanini2405 As long as you get one with Emui 14.2, you can use microg to get full Google play services working no problem, fantastic experience
Disappointed with still Android 12. It's like Huawei getting lazy on making new features in emui, unlike before

No matter what I never leave Huawei. It is empire of Smart phones🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Can say that with this new update on my mate 50 pro finally gbox apps not crushing and some apps that didnt work at all as wizz air now works very good and I can see that apps from gbox are getting updated automatically and I dont need to doit manually anymore. About this wallpaper and shits I dont care overall the software is much better all google apps working not crushing anymore and have automatic updates so I will keep my huawei because I can still use google apps without problems like any other phone.

Emui is far to be harmony os I can give you some features exist in harmony os not in emui in same phone Pura 70 pro
1- in harmony os you can use ai touch ( 2 finger ) to extract text from pictures or translate it
2- the AI features to remove people's or subject in EMUI is shit no use AI but in harmony os is very efficient and cool using AI
3 - alll features and explosive updates are available in harmony but not in emui
Conclusion EMUI is shit sorry for this word I already contacted Huawei support about this things they don't have any answers they don't care for global user's

I am still waiting to get it on my mate 50 pro, apparently here, we will get the update on the 15th. Between, Is EMUI 14 based on Harmony OS instead of Android 13 then?

@@SystemHacks both Android and Harmony OS are based on the same source code but unlike EMUI HarmonyOS is not an Android clone, and doesn't have Linux.

Huawei need to improve their update policy
emui needs a complete overhaul ...it's so boring and barebones

That's why HarmonyOS NEXT system of HarmonyOS exist to replace EMUI software, it's dead and boring and barebones, this is temporary for 2024 until next year.

Hey crh0noz (idk if i spell your old Username correct ). Brother did u have a chance to check if This EMUI update brought any small or big changes to EMUI DESKTOP MODE ?..... Im wondering becuz Samsung DEX has continued adding small adjustments .... Wondering if Huawei also doing it

Did you test the Cameras and Video Recording 🤓 - is Video Recording finally normal with no bugs 🥺
There are some improvements in video recording in my opinion, less stuttering
@@SystemHacks oh thank god, and has the video quality improved? my nova 10 has grainy video quality on emui 13 and combine that with the stuttering is unbearable, also does 60 fps on video work as intended now without sudden frame drops?
Can you help us Huawei Mate 30 Pro LIO-L09/L29 (Global) users to update from EMUI to HarmonyOS please. Didn't find any solution to that. It's very frustrating.

Definitely most of the changes are under the hood
Its still in beta and is rumored to have sdk 33 or 34 (Android 13 or 14) so you should expect future updates
Android version will not be changed I'm pretty sure

Unfortunately,There are Harmonyos screen specialities.But İt can not be like Harmonyos.Harmonyos consume less energy and faster than Emui.There is A view .

That's so sad that nobody want to speak about new features, others think emui = no google so shit, but no! If you see well there is alot of new features, especially the privacy center when alot of persons says that huawei is spying us but they didn't read the google and apple policy 😂, that's better to be disconnected from google and for those who want google apps then install microg, the problem of microg is a long to install compared to the new harmonyos update you can install microg directly from appgallery 😂

Yes it's different now I forget to mention that and app icons are colorful in notification center. But you can revert

+1 respect because they did not use EMUI 14 as a reason to upgrade to Android 13. Google offers only a few features every year and they call that an upgrade to Android.
Android version is important mostly for API level upgrade and you will need that for certain apps, games etcetera. The idea is to use your device for long period of time

Hi. Thanks for watching. I'm bored for practically EMUI 12 l can't get a new update to Android 12 missing EMUI 13 it's deprecated and I will probably not able to use my Mate 30 Pro 😔

Just switch to the Mate 50 pro, it has EMUI 13 and just like the P60 series it is eligible to EMUI 14. I currently have it and that was the first Huawei phone I bought since 2019 as I kept holding onto my P30 pro because of GMS but with gbox I can use GMS easily and it even gets easier with EMUI 14

HarmonyOS is not for global market and it has lots of Chinese stuff in it
EMUI 14 is the same with Harmony OS. You cannot really tell the difference visually.

Emui14 wont let me install any APK files anymore. So no microG or any other app thats not from the AppGalery

Wrong EMUI 14 is still on Android 12 with HarmonyOS 4/OpenHarmony builds where you can still run APK files natively and use native Android frameworks like microG/GMS workarounds etc., don't spread misinformation

I have to be honest - I am disappointed with my attempt to shift to Huawei from Samsung. I have the S21 Ultra and was going to go for the S24 Ultra and thought to take the Huawei Mate 60 Pro+ instead as I used to be a fan of Huawei back in days before they got banned. I also picked up the MatePad 13.2 Pro and was going to even replace my Lenovo Thinkbook with a Huawei laptop. But several weeks later I am disillusioned. I am a business-user - my phone is my work. And using these devices is way to clunky. Transferring your business world from one phone to another is always nasty. But switching from Samsung to Huawei just added days of complexity to get it all working. And all the time I feel the system is fragile - that some or another update will break one of the google-workarounds. The MatePad is high-and-dry with no way to run google apps - tried all the different options but you cannot yet get it to run native. I am wrapping both units up, back in their boxes and putting them on our local version of ebay. Just not worth the effort or risk as a heavy business-user.
First of all if you really need Google then you should skip Huawei

I use Huawei phone, 3 x tablets, 2 x watches, 3 x wireless earpieces, Matebook Pro X and I do not have any issues compared to when I am using Google Pixel 6 pro, my previous phone.
