The thoughtful nature of this surprise gift is a memento I'll adore for years to come. And the video brings back so many fun memories of waiting two years for one of the first Model 3's to ever be produced and the (far too short) two years of spirited driving experiences and small modified details. Your efforts and camaraderie are always so inspiring - thank you, Tom!
Great memories! Can't wait to play in the Y and the other additions to the stable.
This is one of the best! First a heartfelt and thoughtful tribute to your friend. Second your love for Tesla and hot wheels/model cars. Third your amazing vision and talent all in one. I had the opportunity to meet Jason… creative beyond measure. Grateful he is recovering!
THANK YOU! on all those fronts! Jason really is creativity on tap.
Echoing Jason’s message on the thoughtfulness. Really enjoyed how you searched for cars/parts with the least defect. Also love hearing you narrating while you work on the car.
Thanks! That's a style we have going for a couple upcoming projects.
Tom, I appreciate your calm tone. It's in short supply on RUclips these days.
Thanks Luke. We’re threading the eye of the needle here, looking for the wheat-grass-shot calm note, but not the Ambien calm note. If you’re still awake to comment, that’s a good sign : )
I really thought you were about to hack-up that blue Porsche! And I agree, when you find a good starting material (Matchbox car or anything), buy several of them. Great project and a great tribute to Jason for all the hard work and love he gives to everyone else.
Thanks Kevin, You're so right, nothing is more valuable than your time. Grab that extra fastener, adhesive, wire, lumber, part, bulb, key, bit, tool, sheet... What I forgot to say in this case is: have those spare donor vehicles because your gonna mess some up! I drilled through the bottom one, slipping off the rivet head, and another popped out of my hand onto the floor like a melting ice cube.
I kinda missed the meaningful part of your comment in my other reply Kevin, Jason has done so much for so many, myself included, we can only hope this is SOME tiny, (say 1:64) indication of our gratitude.
Awesome work Tom I can't wait to see more videos from you soon.
Thanks! We can't wait to work together again!
Tom great job as always. I know Jason will cherish this. Also there are always some easter eggs in these videos, we got the 3A Kow Yokoyama Ma. K. KROTE back there on the shelf, the deep cut of deep cuts. And the vintage 228 Postal stickers. Keep up the good work.
; )
Indeed I do! Hope you’re well, Taylor!
@@rabbitrabbitfilms hey Jason I hope that you are doing well too!
Tom, this video shows off your many interests, skills and your extremely thoughtful nature as it pertains to your work, flow and those lucky enough to call themselves your colleagues and friends.
Love this and look forward to more from you!

💀💀5️⃣5️⃣ Yes! Thank you Mary! Happy to have had the RIC maker community experience with you too!
The videos just keep getting better! I was glued to this one start to finish.
Thanks Champ!
Your videos are pretty cool
Thanks Clark. We have more videos being edited now so stay tuned.
Great vid
Thanks Greg!
La Femme Makita saves the day!
Ha ha ha, La Femme Makita! The newer LXT Sub Compact is so Anne Parilaud to my old "salt and pepper" gun's Bridget Fonda. Both are 18V, but I guess the new one has more of that Besson, Leon the Professional, and less Badham, Saturday Night Fever. Kidding. Both great tools. Both great films.
Cool, btw you should look into making a Discord server for your channel
We play around in Discord on the Lego User Groups we belong to, but it will probably take a young intern who is a digital native to get a Discord up for us! Gah!
@@HohmanDesign I would loooove to make one for you!
@@HohmanDesign even tho I am not an intern at your company
