Devsisters has never specified on most of the cookies having canon races or cultures except for the heavily implied ones (e.g Kumiho, Starfruit, Lilac, Peach, Plum, etc, which is obviously not okay to modify their already existing skin tone or their POC features.) Devsisters doesn’t give a shit about how people interpret the cookies and loves all the fanwork they receive, they have never specified what cookies are which races as it’s up to the artist or viewer to interpret it. And another note, Licorice cookies’ hair looks like that because it’s meant to look like strands of licorice, but it's up to people to interpret what it is, locs or not. *Don't push your headcanons onto people and excuse it by saying it's whitewashing when he's in fact, not POC coded. I just wanna put it out there that different people and different artists can have different views on what they think the cookies look like more “humanoid”. Devsisters has never specified on most of the cookies having canon races or cultures except for the heavily implied ones (e.g Kumiho, Starfruit, Lilac, Peach, Plum, etc, which is obviously not okay to modify their already existing skin tone or their POC features.)
Devsisters doesn’t give a shit about how people interpret the cookies and loves all the fanwork they receive, they have never specified what cookies are which races as it’s up to the artist or viewer to interpret it.
And another note, Licorice cookies’ hair looks like that because it’s meant to look like strands of licorice, but it's up to people to interpret what it is, locs or not. *Don't push your headcanons onto people and excuse it by saying it's whitewashing when he's in fact, not POC coded. He's fucking grey.*

For those who want to help the real cause, there's numerous volunteer programs you can get involved with as well as petitions you can sign, you can donate food you aren't going to eat and clothes you aren't going to wear, old towels and blankets, old stuffed animals and books, you can donate all of these things to people in need right now, especially those of you who aren't financially well off? You can still do so so so much to help people. Old things you don't need anymore, or raising awareness online or in your school, even see if you can get your class involved in helping these people who need you right now.
Seriously, please. There's so many more important things to focus on than the way an artist draws. All of this hostility? It just turns _you_ into the problem. Eventually the devsisters are going to get fed up with you the same way the Steven Universe creators did.
