It just suits the childhood tv shows vibes that always starts with a goofy atmosphere then slowly transitions into a more serious one added with more and more lores.

IMAGINE THATS HOW THE STORY ENDS, like at the end after everything is said and done the crowned cake hound just pops back up and they get the crown !
The craziest fact is that the witch is more powerful than all the cookies in earthbread cuz she’s a human.

Imagine if a human from our real life ends up in the cookie world. They look like a Cookie, but they don't have any magic within them, therefore, they cannot be hit with any sort of magic attack. They can't get soggy. And they can eat almost *anything they see.*

Remember the st. Pastry order? I think THESE were the 5 they were worshipping and why they wanted the current 5's soul jams so badly. They wanted to find a way to free their "saviors" and return what was once theirs back to them.

I like the introduction of these 5 ancients, it brings up the interesting taboo of humans (although witches) playing god by making life in their own image. The idea of cookies being the definition of freaks of nature with this in mind.
We're about to go into interesting territory and I can't wait.

i love how the final fallen hero is represented by some sort of jester on the website, and in the trailer he's manipulative and a controller. i cannot wait for the game to update.

And plus his legacies characters were probably The Staffs of Yogurt/Forgotten Academy, the ones who responsible to grant Cookies including Pure Vanilla Cookie and White Lily Cookie learning and educations. And the fact that they owns the special door which is highly forbidden and it was shall not be open and the fact that they described it place was implying to be The Beast-Yeast Continent. Plus, after they shut the door after White Lily Cookie succeed tooked her academy's first principal for researchs to creating live, it resulting The Staffs becoming otherworldly looking after they closed the doors.
My favourite design was eternal sugar , she looks like an angel and her smile is just adorable. But she turned into a fallen angel.
i freaking love both shadow milk and silent salts designs! I immediately thought of both elden ring and deltarune for the two of them!

This trailer looks absolutely insane, I have been a CRK Fan for a couple of years now (being a CROB fan for 1 year now), and this overall looks like the most promising update of them all. We have had so many, but the CRK team outdid themselves this time!
Also, they even made the captions fade in and fade out!

Agreed,ive been here since hollyberry update,and this one seems to be the one ive been most anxious to in some years!
Two things I'd like to point out is:
- "Shadow Milk" cookie shares a similar format for his eyes (Blue and a Darker variant of Blue) with Pure Vanilla Cookie, (Blue and Yellow) eyes
- The Initial Design of the "Heros" soul jam had an intricate pattern outlining (Which could symbolize impurity, hence the reduction of the outline and the change in the shape and color when the current "Heros" obtain the soul jam)
I love the tiny details embedded in this trailer , really excited ! :D
One Half of Shadow Milk Cookie's Eye Is colored like Black Pearl Cookie's Eye

I feel like this just solidifies the theory that there are more than just one group of witches, one that solely bakes cookies to eat, and those who are actually aiming to create an actual cookie land, AKA the good and the evil.
i know also i was at a play area in a resturant and i had an halloween update idea:
Cursed Witch Cookie: "a witch sad so efil that efen the moust gluttony witch would hate her, instead of eating cookie she just straight up crushes them not to the liking of any of the 2 witch-groups she was cursed to be a cookie, she managed to escape her own oven and run. its said she only goes where darkness is exsept on haloween where she wanders the world in search of innocent cookies. shes moust powerfull when soul jam is at its weakest or ussed wrong."
new decor: cursed swing: " a normal swing... intill halloween day if a cookie uses it the witch summons a monster from the nether realm to push the cookie so hard they fall into the portal the monster came from to be locked in the netherrealm forefer.... or so it seems..... if a cookie gets summoned by the portal then happy seing the crumbled.... and not getting locked in the netherrealm."
Saint Witch Cookie: "once a witch who helped cookies that sacrificed herself. she roams around beast-yeast commonly seen when theres a hero in sight on the special day of haloween she goes to crispia. echos of her foice follow angel cookie on EFERY HALOWEEN."
I guess that's why they said witches.
One thing i find interesting is that the soul jams changed color once they were given to the current ancients. It also makes me wonder if the soul jams themselves corrupted the heroes, if they just slowly began to become corrupted, if Shadow Milk Cookie was the one to become corrupted first and influenced the others, or if they met a similar fate to white lily cookie. The video said one by one they became corrupted by power but not how, and im excited to find this out and how the previous ancients will react to their soul jams being used by other people. Dark Enchantress wanting the soul jams makes a LOT more sense now too
Except for Pure Vanilla and Hollyberry’s soul jams. Although Hollyberry’s soul jam is more red than Eternal Sugar’s soul jam
Yea, As of now we are completely unaware of their motivation, However , at 0:50 , We can see Eternal Sugar yawning which could signify that they might just be doing it for their own personal entertainment which wouldn't be as interesting than if there was an actual reason.
For a game about cookies, the lore is intense

Seeing Shadow Milk as a Master Manipulator gives me some suspicious familiarity of 2 other jesters who resorted to manipulation as Villains. I wonder who are them anyway?

The 5 Fallen Heroes, also known as the 5 Beasts, have arrived from the depths of Beast-Yeast!
WARNING! SPOILERS AHEAD.
The fact that the soul jams became more simple when the current heroes obtained it shows how powerful the fallen heroes actually were.
They weren't equal to the current heroes we have, they were far more powerful, the destruction they caused in the video proves so.
It's really scary how the soul jams had to simplify themselves to avoid any more chaos made from their new obtainers, and yet Dark Enchantress still rised to power through the obsession of White Lily Cookie's desire to know why cookies were created.
The times were extremely different too, as in the original ancient story the 5 ancient cookies were baked AFTER the war ended, while here they were born DURING the battle. It makes sense, as The Witches would have thought they needed divine beings with wisdom to rule over the cookies and wanted to prevent "Cookie's will crumbling under the weight of their own strength.
Will the Tower of Sweet Chaos be revamped and released some time after the update? Cause I see some references to it. First of all, Mystic Flour and Eternal Sugar look like Gods of the Pastry Order. Or perhaps, was the St. Pastry Order worshipping ALL OF THE FALLEN HEROES? idk, they're all sus. Second of all, you noticed how the heroes were trapped with forks? They have such a similar design to the tower's.

@@worldyworld8basically the soul jams were a simpler/less powerful version of the original virtues. We can see the first virtue's shapes and it's very different from the soul jams. It's most likely that the witches removed most of the corrupted parts/magic and soul jams were created.
Silent Salt looks so cool, easily my favorite looking one out of the 5. The design kind of reminds me of Ceruledge. Also I’m so excited for White Lily!!!!!!
i kind of hope we get the other heroes that were before the ancients , maybe with a special rarity like mythic or mythical , but its probably not gonna happen since they basically gave up their power/soul jams for the new ancients and they’ll probably be the same as gingerbrave with no powers

i think they'll actually be our new ancient cookie releases after we finish the current set. Like, they're our way of continuing the rarity. Since we're going to face Dark Enchantress cookie in beast yeast most likely, they'll probably be the antagonists of the next story arc after we beat her.
On the website it says they call themselves beasts now so they might be Beast rarity

I don't think Dark Cacao's temper is good for someone supposed to wield a powerful thing such as the soul jam. I mean, he tried to attack Clotted Cream Cookie and had to be stopped by Hollyberry Cookie. Hollyberry was also insulted but managed to maintain calm unlike Dark Cacao.
Very interesting. I hope they will mention this occurance of the soul jam getting out of control again here.
I mean, his temper is born directly from a LOT of trauma.

I just really want something about Ghost/Berserk form Dark Cacao to be mentioned in this arc bc it's been in my head ever since it was shown. I mean, it was the soul jam that turned him into that thing! How can it *not* be something mentioned here? I'm just really excited!!
It’s especially scary when you realize that every time dark cacao cookie would get that upset, his eyes would appear to gain cat like purples that are disturbingly similar to the fallen heroes. ☹️
I think because it’s just the nature of that specific cookie type - butter chocolate - and the soul jam was held by a very evil cookie I guess . All of them were but he kinda was that fierce one (my English isn’t good).

crack theory of mine, she is not rlly *evil* (i said it with a grain of salt) and also bcs she is the kindest cookie out of the 5 based on the story so far. even after being corrupted, her wish to fulfil everyone's wishes still remains, albeit not in a good way either😅
but despite not turned upside down, her soul jam does change shape instead to a more solid shape so thats smth

Possible redemption foreshadowing?
Pure Vanilla is very similar to Shadow Milk. Could he be a horcrux? Like a piece of White Lily tied to a Souljam. There are just too many similarities - heterochromia, the leaders of the Ancients, very strong magicians (Pure Vanilla consciously uses only healing, in the past he could almost fight on equal terms with the Dark Enchantress, and she is the most powerful and evil cookie known).
Is it possible that Pure Vanilla will be corrupted, and already the Enchantress will have to try to restore his mind (fighting with a competitor for world domination).
I'm so excited. Why isn't the update coming out NOW?

Yea It'd definitely be interesting to see them going against their counterparts . However, those "Fallen Hero's" certainly won't be as strong as they used to be because they no longer wield the soul jam BUT I think that Dark Enchantress or any other form of evil would somehow gain possession of the soul jam and grant it to the "Fallen Heros" THEN IT would be interesting to see the current ancients being crushed by their 'better' counterparts lol.
I doubt that will happen in the upcoming update

I'm so overjoyed that White Lily Cookie is finally arriving at the game. We've been waiting for 3 years!!!! I'm so going to invest in her. Also, I hope Pastry Cookie makes an appearance in the story (to aid GingerBrave and the others), since she knows what happened to White Lily Cookie. But then again, the chances of that are kind of low
I wonder if this is going to be the last huge lore update, since we finally got White Lily in the roll now

Imo, it more of like MLP S2 Ep.1-2. But instead of Discord corrupted the MCs and had a good ending, they got corrupted in their own accord and got sentenced to life in prison.
I love how all their soul jams dissolved into the soul jams we know now (also excited for White Lily Cookie, I’ve always wanted to voice Blue Lily Cookie)

White Lily wasn't evil before but when she found out the truth, she fell into the dough thing and turned Dark enchantress

I'm don't know about this but I'm gonna reminding you that this video was presumably the 3rd Anniversary's Main Menu intro sequence, since it was narrating The First Five's origins and then cue to modern day where Gingerbrave, Pure Vanilla Cookie and unknown allies going to Beast Yeast Continent alongside with a visual version of Dark Enchantress Cookie taking out White Lily Cookie from her (DEC) body cue to the main menu's title card.
And I'm can't wait to see the possible relevance The Staff of Yogurt/Forgotten Academy and Pastry Cookie & The Saint Pastry Order at the future involved with The Beast Yeast Continent story.

Pure Vanilla's counter part just looks like the enemies in the hall of enlightenment episode
So that's why DEC wanted the soul jams... I also noticed that the forks imprisioning the primordial cookies are the sake forks that we see in the tower of sweet chaos.
There's also Pastry cookie's order who in the oddisey says smt that could be related to these primordials.
Presumably Mystic Flour Cookie because of her the saint like appearance but somehow owns a mindset of a negative side of religions... and the fact that their "religion" was named after a bun which is made out of dough and their target was toward The Creme Republic which is consisted of legacy of Vanilla Kingdom residents who also made out of flour making it even more questionable.
And while Pastry Cookie on the other hand wasn't even made out of pastry and it probably look like made of coloured sugar, making her a coincidence to Eternal Sugar Cookie.
She's trying to release the old Acients so they can help her defeat the Witches!

Sadly Clotted cream was correct about the ancients being destined to turn evil.
We know what happened to white lily. And I have seen dark cacao act very aggressively against everyone sometimes.
And though golden cheese is very greedy because of what happened to her kingdom , her greed might turn her evil.
Only hollyberry and pure vanilla seems like they will not turn evil at any cost

I'd argue Dark Cacao's personality is simply emotional, to be honest, Dark Cacao seems to be the character who'll least likely turn out evil, his light is 'Resolution' which means standing firm, we could already see that quality right as we go into the Dark Cacao kingdom, Dark Cacao sometimes takes it to another level.
However there is a flaw I'll point out, being so tightly intertwined with Resolution can cause him to push asidd other 'smaller' things to hold something larger protected and firm, we can see this by how he basically neglects the villages in his kingdom, not to mention being strict too, his whole character for me, is extremely like an embodiment of Resolution, so it isn't because he's emotional and aggressive that he's likely to turn out evil, I'd say it's because he's so tightly intertwined with resolution he could warp it all-together to something perhaps like, Isolation?
The trailers for the lore always give me chills

@@benjaloud1359 In fact the only moment he let the soul jam go loose and use dark moon magic was during the dark flour war, against dark enchantress, and you can already tell how that went. Yeah he is not doing that again unless something in beast-yeast REALLY demands it (maybe the fallen heroes?)

Dang, I was right on the money with the idea of the fallen five being the original ancient heroes who were made to help prosper the lands of Earthbread only for them to be corrupted by power and punished/abandoned by the very witch who gave them life and their powers which lead to the actual ancient heroes to be formed, unknowingly setting fate to what happens to the five heroes

I have high hopes that with the beast yeast update, we will get more info about Saint Pastry's order. We can see here the witches are represented in a very merciful way, worried about the cookies under the fallen heroes rude. I wonder if ghis is exactly what happened or it is what Saint Pastry Order shaped the narrative into.
We can see the fallen heroes are trapped by the Holy Forks, which Pastry Cookie is seen having as her 'weapon'. So yeah i am really excited to see more about Saint Pastry's order overall, and the role the witches play

I'm really hoping they build on the witches and the order from the red velvet storyline with this! Especially since the witches were seen as evil and the order lies and says they are good! Did the fallen original cookies also see the cookies get eaten? Are they truly evil??
The first ancients were made to bring peace and progress to the cookies but the witches thought they corrupted the cookies so ig that's why they look evil
If they're against the Witches, they're about as evil as Dark Enchantress.

Uh, given what we see here, I'm not sure the Witches ARE evil. I've long suspected that they make two different batches of Cookies--those that are alive, and those that aren't and it's the latter they eat. Otherwise how did Dark Enchantress escape them?
@AnakhaSilver She attacked them shortly after gaining her Dark Magic and they ran away.
I think the biggest reason for that though was the fact she had the element of surprise on her side.
I think it's because there are two different groups of witches, those who created the Cookies to eat and those who created them because they wanted to bring new life.

Ehh. I don't think dark enchantress is the same. It seems like the original heroes fell into darkness without being rebaked that way. White lily was always good(like, she was angry... but NOT like enchantress cookie), but when she fell into the witches dough she was rebaked into dark enchantress. I'm guess what they are saying is that she can possibly be 'baked again' back into White lily. Or have her essence seperated from dark enchantresses dough. Her essence being seperated from dark enchantress would make them two separate beings; basically the being that manifested from her anger of betrayal and kept her real dough imprisoned inside.

I think that the witches reduced the power of the soul jam a bit cuz u can see the outlines of the soul jam fade away when the new batch is shown. The witches probably did this to not let the other ancients get corrupted. It’s does mention vestiges of the power of the soul jam
Too bad The Witches from 80+ years before the game take placed were unwittingly having a spot check who's the cookie that fell at their special dough (they think it just a random Cookie who gotten sentient to attempted to running away) which is later becoming Dark Enchantress Cookie...
It is more likely the soul jams changed designs to fit the new owners.
I think the witches back before was like gentle and kind to their creation, that's why they let these cookies live their own life and hate what's a bad problem that involved these cookies, like how they did on the fallen ancient destroying the cookie world. I think that's why Pastry Cookie believes in witches that she got made from them thinking they'll believe the witches giving them good stuff back.

In the intro of the video we saw the Witch in a godlike aura so in my theory the Beasts must have worshiped the Witch as a God but became bad because of their power (maybe the witch in the video is different from the one we know or maybe the witch also became bad) and since White Lily Cookie turned bad then maybe Silent Salt might have felt it or when White Lily become Dark Enchantress the memories of the Soul Jam's past owner was shown to her so maybe that is why she knows alot of things that even Pure Vanilla and the others don't know about

I don't want to get too dramatic but I started around a week before Cocoa. I was there when DCA released (on my birthday!), when the multiple Super Epics, Pitaya, etc. got released, and when Golden Cheese was released, not too long ago. Knowing that White Lily Cookie is getting released soon makes me cry because I have been with this game for 2 years (3 in December) and this has been such a wonderful journey. Surely this isn't the end, but it's just the beginning. I'm very hyped for the continuation of the story.
